MD in Psychiatry - Batch of 2026
4.8

Placements are good, but the infrastructure and facilities are outdated.
Placements: 80% of students are placed in this course during their placements programme. The highest package is 1–2 LPA, the average Is 90k–1.5 LPA, and the lowest is 40k–70k . Top recruiting companies are central and state government hospitals, private hospitals, and other sectors. Top roles offered in this course are consultant psychiatrist, professor, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are outdated but not bad. Classrooms, library, and labs are present, and the library is large and well-stocked. Food quality is not very good, but the canteen and hostel are available on campus. Medical and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they prepare us for placements. The institute is affiliated with Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University. The course is a little hard, and 21 marks are required to pass each subject. A minimum of 30% marks is needed to pass the exam.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2028

Absolutely satisfied because of good academics and exposure but boys hostel is not up to mark.
Placements: In batch 2018, each MBBS graduate gets placed because of the bond made between the government and the students. They need to complete two years of paid service bond with above 60k ( may range up to 90k more; I don't know exactly) depending upon the field they get or choose.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so impressive at the moment as it is a very old college (the 3rd oldest medical college). New construction is about to start. The multi-specialty block is superb. Everything is fine except the boys hostel, because it may collapse at any time. First-year boys are not allotted, and now they have been instructed to vacate the boys hostel because of its worst condition.
Faculty: The faculty members are excellent. You wouldn't regret the academics here for sure. Faculty teach everything needed as per the CBME (Competency-Based Medical Education) curriculum. The passing percentage in the university exam is excellent (>95%).
Other: Various events are held on various occasions. But the best one will be a fresher party for every new batch. Flames used to happen previously but not now as the ground has been occupied by metro construction. It may be held in the near future. Various extracurricular activities like quizzes, talent-showing programs at various events, etc. happen regularly.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2029

Good academics but infra and sports are very bad.
Placements: 100 percent placement; all students get jobs after completing the course. Mainly government jobs are there after the course, as there is a bond of 2 years in Uttar Pradesh. After studying for 4 years, students get a stipend of 12 thousand for one year; after this, they have to serve the bond.
Infrastructure: The only good thing about the college is academics. The infrastructure is very old, as this is the oldest college in India, established in 1854. All facilities like the library and labs are available, but labs are not well-equipped; old instruments are there. First-year students are not allowed in the canteen and library. Girls get a hostel, but there is no hostel for 1st and 2nd-year boys.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and experienced. As this is an old college, teaching quality is good, and the method is also good by the faculty, but the lecture theatre is old. The curriculum is good, covering all aspects of the degree. There are 2 semesters in the 1st year and 1 proof exam. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: As I got a good rank in NEET, I chose MBBS. It provides stable life, and as it is in demand, I chose it. More practical things should be introduced in the curriculum rather than memorizing theory. A fest is organized every year in February, named Flames. The campus is well-crowded all the time.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: 10% of students got placed in our course. The highest package offered is 2 Lacs per month, and the lowest salary is 70,000 per month. 80% of students do internships in our college. Courses like MBBS, MD, MS, and lab technician courses are offered here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Labs are available. The classrooms are big. The quality of food is very good and tasty. The menu is changed every day. Sports facilities are available in our college. Games like cricket, badminton, carrom, etc., are available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They are very well-qualified and very knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage is 70%.
Other: The course is very good, and it has a huge scope in the future.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2021

This college is worth taking if you are getting it through NEET.
Placements: It is one of the oldest medical colleges in India and has a prestigious name. Passed out doctors get sure 100% job in any government or private hospital. Clinical cases are of great diversity to increase your knowledge. More than half of the students clear NEET PG during their internship and get admission in MD or MS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good, but it is surely improving. The lecture halls are old with fans only, and the labs are outdated. Mess food is just average. Sports are conducted during the annual fest called FLAMES, and it is one of the best things about college. It is conducted in December.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified doctors, and some of them are excellent while some are not. The practical knowledge of all teachers is excellent. Teaching clinical diagnosis is overall good, while the theory classes are usually effortless by them and boring.

MD in Psychiatry - Batch of 2026

College is known by its rankings.
Placements: MD in psychiatry is one of the most commonly chosen courses from the S. N Medical College, Agra. Placement history was so surprising, with higher pay of up to 18 LPA. I got placed in Lotus Super Specialty Hospital to provide my services in the field of psychiatry.
Infrastructure: College is accredited by various organizations and is good for providing coaching for various courses, especially in medicine. As students advisors/counselors are appointed for all the courses to check on the student's mentality once a week. But college won't give time for concentrate on sports activities.
Faculty: Undurable guidance and timely coaching provided by the top assistant professors of our college. Professors would give coaching to the students even for writing exams in semesters. All the reference books and their authors are suggested by the professors prior to the semesters.
