MCC started NEET PG 2025 counselling round-2 from December 5, 2025. Choices had to be declared at mcc.nic.in from December 6 to December 14, 2025. Those who already registered in round-1 need not to register in this round. MCC announced round-2 NEET PG 2025 seat allotment result on December 16.
NEET PG 2025 counselling round-2 is underprocess. As per latest updates, MCC has extended deadline for round-2 counsleling till December 30, 1 pm. Resignation deadline for round-1 and round-2 allotted seats was also extended till December 29, 2025. Round-2 seat allotment result was announced on December 16, 2025. Registration for round-3 NEET PG counselling 2025 was scheduled to begin from December 26 but it was postponed as reporting deadline was extended following request of students. They had requested to provide extra time as round-2 result in some states were awaited. Round-3 counselling is expected to begin soon. Students can do fresh registration at mcc.nic.in. They also have to declare choice of college and course for round-2 counselling. Seats are allocated based on choices declared, availability of seats in particular institute and stream, reservation factor, NEET PG rank etc.

NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round-2: Crucial Details
- Round-2 NEET PG 2025 counselling will be conducted by MCC for allotment of 50% AIQ seats.
- Students who didn’t get seat in round-1 don’t require to register again in round-2
- In addition, those who resigned seat after allotment in round-1, don’t need to do fresh registration
- Choices declared in round-1, will not be valid. Fresh choices have to be declared online
- Round-2 seat allotment result will be published online at mcc.nic.in
- If seat allotted in round-3 is upgraded, students have to take relieving from round-1 seat
- If a student hadn’t allotted seat after fresh registration in round-2, in that case, he/she can participate in round-3 directly without registration
- In case seat gets upgraded, then student can’ claim seat allotted earlier

NEET PG 2025 counselling round-2 started online on December 5 with registration. Registration has to be done for round-2 at mcc.nic.in. Thereafter, choices have to be declared from seat matrix.
