It is an excellent college.
Placements: In our college, more than 85% of students were placed. The average salary package offered was 1.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Badve Autotech Pvt. Ltd., Punjoloyed Ltd., Mundra Solar Pvt. Ltd., Krisna Maruti Pvt. Ltd., etc., visited our campus. Around 80% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college had an excellent infrastructure. Our college provided good facilities. Our lab, classrooms and library were excellent. Wi-Fi was not available throughout the campus. There were five departments available. Medical, sports, and gaming facilities are available.
Faculty: Our teachers were very helpful. They were well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum was relevant. It made students industry-ready. The semester exams were a little bit difficult. The pass percentage was 95%. There were mechanical, electrical, civil, computer, and electronic engineers.
Other: The mechanical engineering program is a time-demanding course.

This college has facilities like Wi-Fi, transport, drinking water, playground and workshop.
Placements: Approximately 50% to 60% of the students got jobs from our course. The highest salary package offered ranges from 1 LPA to 2 LPA. Top companies visited our college for placements. From our course, a total of 78 students got jobs. ME is the best course in this college, and all teachers are very hardworking. So, I highly recommend you to join ME.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi did not work properly during my tenure, and the library has few books. Classrooms are average, and the infrastructure is good. This is the best institute, and there is no compromise in the study.
Faculty: The main best thing about our college is that all teachers are very good and hardworking for students. Their teaching quality is very good. They all are experienced and very helpful, mainly in the mechanical engineering department. All teachers are knowledgeable, so I recommend you to take admission in this college for study. This college makes students ready for the industry.
Other: I have chosen mechanical engineering because I am passionate about machines and mechanisms. Overall, this college is best for study.

Placements: Many students got placed in our college. The highest salary offered was Rs.95,000 per month. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Some companies visited our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: Our college provided good facilities for all courses. The infrastructure of our college was good. Our labs were well-structured. Our classrooms were very good and modern. Our library was air-conditioned. The hostel facilities were good enough because of its good staff members. Our canteen facilities were good.
Faculty: Our teachers were very helpful. They helped all students. They were very knowledgeable. They taught us great lessons. Their teaching quality was good, but they were not well-qualified. They prepared us for the industry and made us industry-ready.
Other: I opted for this course because of my personal choice, and it has a high demand in India and abroad. I was interested in making designs, materials, productions, and manufacturing from childhood. Students must complete their secondary education to join this course.

Review of South Calcutta Polytechnic.
Placements: In our batch, almost 64 students got placed through campus interview. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,500 per month. The highest salary offered was Rs. 19,500 per month. Many companies visit our college, but the best company is TCS. Our course is mechanical engineering, and I got a job in Bajaj Motorbike Production. Almost 70% of the students in our college got placed.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very important in every college. In south Calcutta, Polytechnic has good facilities and infrastructure. Labs are very good, and Wi-Fi is also available, but it is limited. Classrooms are large and can accommodate many students. There are no hostel facilities. Canteen is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very educated and very helpful. If you miss any class, then they teach you very carefully. At the end of any course, you need to go to industrial training. The college sends you to a good industry for training.
Other: I have chosen mechanical engineering because it is the best engineering course and I was good at mechanical engineering. The best thing in mechanical engineering that you get a job anywhere. Many events are organised in one college every year. They have their own campus for fests and fresher.
