Good learning atmosphere and supportive teachers.

Placements: Only few students are placed through campus placements. Placements are average. Fees structure is low compared to other colleges. For mechanical engineering, no companies visit the college for recruitment of students.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure & classrooms. Labs are good and Wi-Fi facility is provided. Hostel facility is poor. Food quality is adjustable since only vegetarian foods are available in the college canteen. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games competitions are held every year.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, qualified and knowledgeable. This course makes the student industry ready but there is no such industrial company for mechanical engineering in the placement in this college. Semester exams are mostly difficult. Pass percentage was approximately 50% in our batch.

Other: I chose Mechanical engineering because it has many opportunities.

SIMAT is good choice for local students.

Placements: The placements are good for CSE department. Most of the placement offer is towards IT field and BPO. So, there is a less chance for other department students. If anyone wants a campus placement, they are forced to join in the IT field or BPO field. So, many students are placed in our batch and previous batches.

Infrastructure: A nice college but I am missing the campus. The whole infrastructure is good, and the campus has a nice environment. The campus is calm and has quiet nature. A better place to enjoy the nature and all, but the college is located far away from the bus stop, and students need to walk around 1 KM from the bus stop.

Faculty: The faculty members in the mechanical engineering and other batches are good, and especially, the mechanical branch has good faculty. There is full support in academics and extracurricular activities, but later, in my batch, a lot of faculty members have replaced by new faculty, so I don't know the current situation. We have a great support from the lab staff too.

Best private engineering college in Palakkad.

Placements: Most of the placements are offered in IT field. Every department has a placement officer. Many add-on courses are offered at lower cost in college itself. The college has Sree Ace Academy to train and provide placements. Many students got placed in past years.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. Have all facilities kept very neat and clean. Have good library with internet facility, online digital library, reading hall, xerox and printouts are available from the library itself at a very low rate. Have large college auditorium, labs and machines are good, wifi campus, classes are very modern, AC seminar hall, toilets are very tidy.

Faculty: Faculty members are most supportive and encouraging, very friendly and polite towards students. All faculty members are well trained and qualified. There are enough staff members in every department. Head of departments and other faculty members have a good approach in everything towards students. Faculty members do not allow a loss of classes in case of absence of a faculty member. Special coaching for weak students is also provided by conducting at least three series test per semester.

Other: The college atmosphere is very calm. Very close from the state highway, very good management and staff. Most of the programs conducted in the college are funded by the management. No fine collection. Experienced and helpful staff. Good transportation facility. Labs and other infrastructures are latest and advanced. The college has production line HMT CNC Lathe. Supports all art and sports skills. Canteen is only vegetarian.
