Engineering education amidst nature.
Placements: Mechanical was one of the most students placed last year, which has the highest package of 12 LPA and an average package of 5 LPA. Well-known companies where recruiting students from the department and also mechanical is the wide branch which has more way for future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was quite average because it is situated on the hill place of Wayanad. The college provides an average library for students for their reference availability of books and also free Wi-Fi for using a computer in the library. The college has a store and plays a big role in sports. A free gymnasium is also provided.
Faculty: Faculty members are more supportive. They provide good knowledge for students. The teaching quality is good. There is an average pass percentage in each department sem exam in the middle-level exam. They want to improve more curriculum for students in the syllabus for the industry-ready.
Other: Mechanical engineering is a mother branch that has more opportunities in that field the field where interested in studying machines and their design. I want to improve the syllabus so that the curriculum should provide the subjects that only a mechanical engineer needs and avoid the other departments' subjects for mechanical students. The college provides a teach fest in the year and the main highlight was the no-ragging campus. The college has an affordable fee structure and good remarks in extra curriculum activities.

It has breathtaking good views and a beautiful environment.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed. The highest package offered by a Gulf company is 45 LPA and it was in a mechanical department. ESAF, Qspiders, and TVS are the top recruiting companies for our course. The lowest package ranges from 3-4.5 LPA. About 30-40% of students get placed in my department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite nice. The college is situated on three hills above, so the view is nice. In monsoon, it is filled with mist and fog which makes it even beautiful. There is a huge library. The college hostel is really spacious. The mess food is good that we cannot complain for the money paid.
Faculty: Professors are really educated and quite nice too. They are not like other professors who just do their job. Most of them really want us to study that they try so hard. I feel like they do make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not that hard if we study well.
Other: Our college is situated in a hill area. So it is very quiet and peaceful. Anyone who loves that environment really would love our college. Events are just fine, but they could improve a lot better.

Absolutely disaster is my college.
Placements: Here less percent students are placed, others look like losers and teachers. Mechanical department is not good enough. Mass top recruiting company visits my college. Students are not satisfied with this placement era.
Infrastructure: I am not in college hostel, staying in PG. Name is Sappus here not yet at food and we are staying in the hall with 13 children and we can't study properly. We have no sports area and no other activity places. We are completely safe and the warden is good she is checking how we are. In my college, there are no facilities for mechanical group. There is no high-facility lab in my college.
Faculty: No words to explain about semester exams. It is really amazing I will never write exams like this. Very tough exams and some faculty members are good so some subjects are good. Others are very poor and we can't understand anything. They just read the PDF and go. In exam time, we believe in YouTube classes.
Other: Fests, events, and crowds I have not seen anything in my college last 5 months.

Satisfied with campus life good faculty members. Okay placements. 2025 placements was good.
Placements: 40% of students are placed from our college. The highest package includes 20 LPA - 10 LPA. The average is something around 6 LPA and the lowest is 3 or 4 LPA. Top recruitment companies include Gulf of Asian, Qatar, TVS, and bank recruitments from my course. In mechanical engineering, about 13% of the total strength of the batch was placed. Top roles include automotive engineer, design engineer, aerospace engineer, maintenance engineer, manufacturing engineer, robotics engineer, control and instrumentation engineer, powertrain engineer, research and development engineer, and energy engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities include free access to Wi-Fi in college, anywhere near labs for various purposes, and classrooms. The building may not look of good design or with good interior but provides good facilities. There's a central library too. In my college hostel, we have free access to Wi-Fi. The quality of the food is homely but I don't recommend eating from the canteen. Medical Facilities are near to the college. Sports and games are so top in our college with a large ground, a separate football court, and tennis court even inside our hostel too.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but since it's a government college, spoon feeding doesn't work here. Faculty members are qualified with M.Teach or PG and others with Ph.D. with good knowledge. Yes it's curriculum Relevant. Yes there are so many clubs and hands on activities which makes u industry ready. Exams are of average to above average level.54% was the Pass percentage.
Other: My batch contains 68 students with 13 girls in mechanical engineering. I chose this course because of my interest in aerospace industry. Best thing about my course is it's the mother branch which will help you to a wide range opportunities and interests. Fests like techfest ethnic day Onam Xmas and valentines day prom and other clubs both technical and non technical helps us to connect with others. Campus life is superb with entry time to hostel at 9.30 in the night for both girls and boys.

The mechanical engineering program received NBA accreditation this year, providing more placement.
Placements: This year, the mechanical department got accredited, and placements have increased. Our students got placed in Tata Elxsi and Easa Al-Guru Groups. Many students secured positions despite their poor performance in academics, and there are still a number of supplementary exams ongoing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is beautiful, with the entire campus enhanced by Wayanad's climate. The mechanical department is excellent, with dedicated and cooperative staff. We have libraries, Wi-Fi, and labs. The hostel facilities are also good, with decent food. There's a ground in front of the hostel where students play daily.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and dedicated, readily available for addressing doubts. The semester exams are moderately tough, with a 50% pass percentage in my class. Exams happen quickly, with series exams interspersed between them.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because of my passion for engines and vehicles. The hands-on nature of the course is its best aspect. College events are enjoyable.

Our college is very good.
Placements: About 25% of students got placed through the placement cell. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 41,000 per month. About 20% of students got internships in companies QBurst, L&T, SOTI, etc.
Infrastructure: Our library has around 10,000 books, 10 periodicals, CD-Rooms, and reports. Our library serves the needs of students and staff of our college. The central computing facility allows students and faculty to browse the internet. The industry institution interaction cell promotes closer interaction between academics and the industry. The cell is functioning in our college and organises seminars, workshops, and industrial training programs. Virtual classrooms are used for conducting classes from remote locations through network systems and NPTEL videos with high-class facilities. Virtual classrooms can accommodate a large number of attendees in air-conditioned comfort. There are 2 hostels for girls and one for boys. The hostel facilities are good.
Faculty: All teachers and staff are good, very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. Semester exams are moderate. Students who study well can easily pass exams.

I was absolutely satisfied with the college and enjoyed the college life.
Placements: In our course, none of the students were placed and so no salary packages were provided. There were no companies to recruit students and also no internship was provided. Students completed their internships from outside sources. Major engineering roles such as system engineer and design engineer were offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The classes were provided with a flip board and extra blackboard with good ventilation and lighting. Hostel facilities were at it's best with food and dining rooms. Each student was provided with a cot, bed, study table, and a shelf for storage. Food was comparatively better.
Faculty: There were teachers with good teaching quality who were qualified with Ph.D. and well knowledgeable. They make each student study at their best level providing extra classes for clearing doubts and making them more comfortable with faculty members. Semester exams were better and had a good pass percentage.
Other: This course is a good course with various opportunities.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, but in case of infrastructure, it is an average college.
Placements: No companies arrived here for giving placements in mechanical department and college authority pays no attention to this trivial matter. After studying here, students themselves had to find jobs that means very less probability of getting good company .
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good; smart TV and projector etc. are available. Condition of labs and play ground are very bad. Condition of college ground was very pathetic, it was partially damaged due 2018 flood. There is a gym in the college it has good quality of instruments and its condition is average.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are guest lecturers and their teaching quality and behaviour are very detrimental to the personal as well as academic growth of students studying there. Teaching style of the teachers are not adequate to making students capable to survive industry. Pass percentage of the college is very poor.
