Balance between Fun and Career: Sri Balaji Dental College.
Placements: The college doesn’t provide any placement as it is a dental college. We only have the studies part with a practicing year, which is the internship. The admissions are based on the NEET exam and the year's cutoff. The college itself provides an internship, so there is no need to join outside.
Infrastructure: The labs are quite good, and as a dentist, you need a lot of patients to learn the procedures and get a grip on the handwork, so the flow is good here. Even apart from the staff, we have PGs guiding us through. We also have a hostel, separate for boys and girls. The campus has a lot of greenery along with playing grounds. You will fall in love with the campus.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are well-qualified and helpful, more than friends. They teach us all the curriculum and everything that is necessary for us. Don’t talk about exams, though — the worst part of dentistry is the final year with 8 vast subjects to be covered in an entire year, both theory and practical, with work deadlines and also attendance deadlines. With an annual exam, failing to meet any of the above can cause an individual to lose 6 months.
Other: As the course is tough and occupies better time management, it's better to choose a college that has extracurricular activities, which make college life fun. If you are looking for such a place, you are at the right one: Sri Balaji Dental College.

Overall, it's a good college with minor defects, but with good academics and an increase of 85%.
Placements: 100 students were placed in our course. We don't have any college placements as it is a dental college. Actually, no dental college has it. No outside internships. Internships should be completed in our own college itself, that's mandatory. Top roles could be after the MS programme or can be directly shifted towards the non-clinical side, which may encourage higher positions in corporate sectors as managers.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were quite good, not problematic. No Wi-Fi, but the labs are good. We have a well-maintained library and classrooms, too. Being closer to the medical college, we have all the medical facilities, and the remaining food is all average.
Faculty: Teaching quality is very good. They are definitely preparing you from the start of the course. The difficulty level is above average, and the pass percentage is around 75 to 80%. The course curriculum is top-notch and consistent. Students can be industry-prepared after their internship.
Other: I chose it because I wanted to be a doctor, and the best part is that you treat people. College could be more fun, and there is not too much pressure on attendance. Every year, the fest goes well. Scholarships are provided, but there is slight pressure from the college, as the government hasn't issued them yet. The campus surroundings are green and peaceful.
