Wonderful memories of my academic life due to eminent faculty members and good environment.
Placements: Placement cell of this college was very active, and they used to invite established MNCs for placement. You will get a chance to do an internship. You could manage your expenses on your own. They used to organise talks by the eminent personalities who grew up in their own field.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were top-notch. Even one of the best hostels in Delhi University. It provided comfortable stay with prominent facilities, new infrastructure, and many more. Green area was also established for refreshing your mind after the hectic lectures. Even food mess facilities were also there.
Faculty: Personally, I believe the faculty members of this college were very underrated but you will get a chance to learn from them. The best minds of the country had expertise in their own subjects. If we talk about the relevance of the course that after your completion, you will find yourself as a new person who will be visionary and skillful.
Other: There were best and active societies so you could explore yourself apart from academics. They used to organise annual fest named Lashkara.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty. Bad infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Around 200 students got placed in the college placement grounds. The placement cell of our college is ignited and in reality is not functioning properly as students placed are a mere fraction of the total students and negligible in comparison to top colleges like SRCC, Hindu, etc. Most placements are for commerce background students. The highest salary package offered is 23.05 LPA. Companies offered jobs include Brain and Company, McKinsey and Company, NAMO, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is in very bad condition. There is no one to take care of the heritage-holding legacy institute of the country. In computer labs, we have computers of the holder generation with outdated windows. Computers are a part of academic philanthropy by IIT Bombay and since then no further progress has been made in that field. Our college has 3 Wi-Fi connections. Their range is very poor and so poor is the speed. Classrooms, the library, and all rooms except for labs are fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and very knowledgeable. They try to help students in every possible way. They all have completed their Ph.D. and have a huge field experience. There is one Rigzing Kang mam. She is the best biochemistry teacher in India. Semester exams are easy to moderate. You can get very good marks on filling sheets with great points and diagrams. The course structure is research-oriented. In the college, there is no such infrastructure, and that creates the burden of written learning on students.

Student viewpoint on Khalsa College.
Placements: The college has a good placement cell. The interesting part is that big companies like KPMG, HDFC Bank, Deloitte, Chegg, NoBroker.com, etc., have hired students from our college for internships and placements (jobs). The highest package goes up to 30 LPA.
Infrastructure: Each classroom has air conditioning. Free Wi-Fi is also available to the students. The buildings are a bit old, but they are currently being renovated. The girls' hostel is newly built and has all the required facilities, including Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The entry gate closes at 7 p.m. The college also has a lawn tennis court, a Gurudwara, a large ground, a gym, a canteen, a basketball court, a football ground, and more.
Faculty: Teaching faculty is very nice. They are always ready to clear our doubts. The only issue is that there are lots of assignments and projects to be submitted every semester. It would be right to say that the semester exams are a bit tough, but slowly we can get the hang of it.
Other: The courses are nice and the faculty is also good, but I don't understand the purpose of subjects like AEC, VAC, and SEC. They don't make any sense, as we won't be able to use them in the future. Actually, at present, it is just like a time-pass learning.

Good crowd but lacks infrastructure.
Placements: The average package is 6 Lacs, and the highest package is 24 Lacs. Companies like EY and KPMG are among the top recruiters. Placement is decent. Internships are provided by the placement cell of the college, so from a placement perspective, the college is doing a good job.
Infrastructure: ACs are installed in rooms, but the condition of the college's infrastructure is very poor. As compared to other colleges in the North Campus, its infrastructure is not up to the mark. Also, the NAAC grading is A, while other colleges hold A+ NAAC ratings.
Faculty: SGTB Khalsa stands out as a top-tier DU college, offering an enriching blend of solid academics, supportive faculty, sports, and cultural life. It’s ideal for students seeking both strong placements and vibrant campus experiences, especially those from or connected to the Sikh community, while also embracing diversity. Minor infrastructure upgrades and hostel availability would further enhance its appeal.

Satisfied with faculty members but frustrated with the infrastructure.
Placements: The average placements at college are decent. But if I have to talk about my course then placements are not good. Physics hons is research-oriented so you will get a good research culture. The intake of students is limited so you get a good research culture. But placements are not good.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is below average. College literally needs renovation and water cooler also needs to change because the level of water is around 300+. Our own EVS teacher recommends us not to use college water otherwise you can get sick. Sports facility is okay but the ground is one of the finest grounds of DU.
Faculty: College faculty members are very good especially if I talk about my course. As the number of students is very less so teachers can focus on every student. Students can easily ask teachers about any doubt or any topic they lag behind. Teachers mainly focus on practical and students also work with teachers on projects.
