MBA in Financial Marketing - Batch of 2017

A good college with good infrastructure.
Placements: The placements are not good. It depends on the students' performance at the time of interview. There is no 100% placement. In my batch, out of 120 students, only 30 students got selected. The minimum package will be 2 LPA, and the maximum is 3.5 LPA. The fee structure is high compared to other colleges in Mysuru.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. The classroom is good with the latest projectors. You will get everything you need for reading in the library. Yearly once, they will conduct national level management fest. For sports, there are all good ground facilities. For safety purposes, the entire college is under CCTV surveillance.
Faculty: The faculty are good at teaching. They are well qualified. Out of 12 faculty members, 6 of them are PhD holders. They are very experienced teachers. They will conduct activities. They used to give us case studies. There is no industry exposure. It was a useful course.

A good MBA college. Good curriculum and faculty.
Placements: There were some placements, only about 5-6 companies came. The average salary offered was less than 3 lakhs per annum. Majorly marketing roles were offered in the on-campus recruitment There is no concept of internship in this college as we were publishing a research paper.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. We had a separate building on the SJCE campus. We had our own parking lot. Wi-Fi, labs classrooms, library, medical was indeed good. There were no infrastructure issues during the course. The quality of labs and classrooms were good We had whiteboards and projectors for all the classrooms.
Faculty: There were very good faculty members at the college. They were very friendly and approachable. The curriculum was of VTU but the college was autonomous. The library had all updated versions of books for our ease. All the faculty members had done their post-graduation and some of them were Ph.D. holders.

One of the best educational institutions. Not for the placements for MBA.
Placements: SJCE is known for placements, but placements are pathetic for MBA. The companies which come to hire are either start-ups or sales. The students who have taken up marketing and wish to pursue their career in it whatever the scenario is, then this would be apt for them. But if you have taken up any other specialization and if you are dreaming about big companies coming to hire you, it is better that you forget.
Infrastructure: No comments about this. It is one of the best institutions to study. Classrooms, library, Wi-Fi and all other facilities are extremely good. The ambience is very good, and the food in the canteen is good. You will get only vegetarian food across the campus. Facilities-wise, this is the best institution.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified and experienced. They have both industry and academic experience. The knowledge about the subject is appreciable. Most of the MBA faculty members are research scholars. 120 students and 2 sections. It is a deemed university now. The syllabus, curriculum and all other stuff are unique. The faculty members are very generous in helping students to understand the concepts. They will repeat it 100 times if you ask the same concept.
Other: If your main agenda is to gain knowledge, then this is the best place. But if you are looking for placements, you are not on the right platform at least for MBA. For engineering, it is good from all point of views. But the kind of knowledge we get here is incomparable. We will get to know the value once we move out of the campus.

Good investment, select it as your first option as it is the place where you will actually grow.
Placements: Placements are not much basically it depends on the person's caliber, capability. if you're good enough to place yourself in the placement with your skills and creativity then you can hit a jackpot. The highest salary would be around 40- 50 k monthly again it differs according to the individual's capability. To talk about the internship the answer is no but not to worry the period of 2 months will be given to the student for the internship purpose and complete support will be given by the faculty. students will be assigned mentors for the period up till the internship is completed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is awesome you will be having WiFi all over the college building, easy to use computer labs. students are allowed into labs whenever they wish to. Classrooms are great with projector and computer system. The best part is the two-storeyed library. You are free to borrow any book or journal. There are no time restrictions on returning the book. one can find every book. As I am a daily scholar I don't know much about the hostel facilities.
Faculty: Faculty are very friendly. every professor over there has a different way of teaching not only the academics but also the way of thinking. They intend us to think out of the box. That's the part I love about each professor. You can always feel free to talk whenever you need something. Not only about the academics but also when you are in trouble or something.

Placement opportunities are good, and also with good facilities.
Placements: The average package was offered for 50,000, and top companies like Infosys, E&Y, Accenture, etc. 85% of the staff is stationed on campus. They provide internships for students to improve their skills and abilities to work in an organisation effectively.
Infrastructure: The facilities are Wi-Fi labs, classrooms, and a library, all well-equipped. This college also provides medical facilities, sports, and games. Over all, the college is good. The canteen facilities can be improved over all.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good; facilities are well qualified and knowledgeable. The course offered curriculum relevant and it makes the students ready for industry. The semester exams are quite different. This gets a 5 from me.

I suggest that never join this college, and it is a waste of your money.
Placements: There are various branches of MBA in this college, such as finance, marketing, HR, corporate finance, retail marketing and executive MBA. But there are no placements for all the branches of MBA as they are average only for marketing branch. If you are from finance and corporate finance, then you won't get placements and have to search for jobs outside the college on your own.
Infrastructure: Our college had good infrastructure, but now the college is coming up with new courses. There is a shortage of classrooms, and sometimes you should have to search which classroom is free and also ready to see clashes between lecturers because of a shortage of classrooms. Projectors don't work properly.
Faculty: Among 15 to 20 lecturers, only 2 to 3 lecturers are good at teaching, while the rest are average. Some lecturers torture you by providing a lot of assignments and less time to solve them. There is no opportunity for revaluation. Internals are conducted in the evening time after the classes so you can't concentrate on classes when you have internals.
Other: The college fee is much higher, but it doesn't provide placements. They don't allow you to do an internship, and there will be discrimination among students. Students take advantage of SJCE reputation, but JSS centre for management studies is separate from SJCE. The only intention of our college is to earn money by introducing new courses. If you are facing any problem, then they don't bother about them.

local placement is decent, teaching is decent, overall exposure/brand is Not as Esteem-able as BMSCE/MSRIT/Amrita.

For vibrant city life, internships, coding culture, and good placements, MSRIT or BMSCE Bangalore CSE is an excellent choice.
