Review of Sri Moogambigai Polytechnic College.

Placements: I joined this college because of its placement record. The highest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. I got placed in the best company with a salary package of 2 LPA. Interview process was very easy and clear. Students without any backlogs could easily get placed. Around 100% of students got placed. I was disappointed with internships.

Infrastructure: Classrooms were the hostel rooms. Most of the students were day scholars. Classrooms were very neat, clean, and large. Wi-Fi connection was available in labs and office rooms. Canteens were closed but a person sold food at Rs.30 to Rs.60. The quality of the food was the best. Sports Day was celebrated. Our college had a good building and playground.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were the best, most friendly, and most knowledgeable. Teaching quality was the best. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry ready. Semester exams were not difficult. They were providing subjects in both languages, Tamil and English. The pass percentage was above 96%. They conducted more model exams. There were exams forenoon with afternoon revision.

Placements: Placement process was very easy in our college. Students got placed if they attend the interview. Placement percentage was high. Top recruiting companies were Turbo Private Limited, Ashok Leyland, and many others. Internships were not available for any course. They offer less salary packages. Top roles offered were production engineer and quality manager.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was not good. One building was constructed like an apartment that consisted of all the departments. They provided separate classes for first-year students. There were 3-5 classrooms for departments. Internet connection was available in the CAD lab. The quality and quantity of the food served were the best. Students could eat food in the mess and canteen.

Faculty: Faculty members in our department were friendly and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was the best. The course curriculum was relevant and it made students industry ready because of more practicals. The syllabus included 50% of practicals and 50% of theory. Semester exams were difficult because they provided the best coaching and conducted many model exams. The pass percentage was above 96%.

Placements: Placements are the best in our college. The placement percentage is very high in our mechanical engineering department. The highest salary package is 2.40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. They offer roles like quality manager and production engineer. The disadvantage is they are not providing general shifts. They provide jobs on a shift basis. They do not provide any internships. Top recruiting companies are Avtech, Royal Enfield, and TVS Motors.

Infrastructure: The construction of our college is not based on any infrastructure. It has just one building like an apartment. All the classrooms, labs, departments, and offices are in one building. The internet connection is available only in labs, and one projector is provided for us to take classes. The quality and quantity of food are very good. Medical facilities are not provided. Library is not available in our college. Hostel facilities are just good.

Faculty: I have seen very supportive and the best faculty members in our college. Teachers are very supportive of us in study activities as well as extracurricular activities. The course curriculum is relevant to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult in our college if you follow the teachers' instructions. They conduct more model exams so the students will not feel the difficulty of semester exams. The pass percentage of our college is above 96%.

Other: It is the best college to study in.

Placements: The placement percentage was above 98%. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA or more, and the average was 1.8 LPA. I got placed with the average salary package. My role was in the production department. The college did not provide any internships.

Infrastructure: The quality of the food was excellent. The food was inexpensive. The quantity of food was very good. They did not conduct sports or games. Classrooms were converted into hostel rooms, but no one opted for the hostel. Students were day scholars. Wi-Fi was available only in the computer lab. There was no mess or canteen in our college.

Faculty: Faculty members were good and strict. Some of them were friendly. Our HOD was very knowledgeable, and he is the one who ensures that the entire department runs smoothly and in accordance with the master plan. They taught us the curriculum in only one and a half months. After that, they conducted revisions. Theory exams were conducted in the morning, and lab exams were conducted afternoon. Semester exams were very easy because they conducted many revision tests to make us pass the semester exams. The pass percentage was above 98%.

Other: I completed my 12th standard in a government school and joined this college as a lateral entry student because of the placement process. Everyone from this college got placed in at least one company, so I decided to join this college. If you are studying here, you can enjoy your college life. It is based on how you are studying and enjoying college life.

Placements: Our college had excellent placements. Many students were placed. Some students opted for higher studies. The salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Top role offered was production engineer. More than 98% of students were placed. Internships were not available. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college had one building with three floors. The first floor was for first-year students, and the second floor was shared among the mechanical department and the computer science department. Computer labs were available. There were separate buildings for mechanical labs. Sports and games were not available. The quality of the food was good. The mess and canteen were not available. A person came with lunch in the afternoon and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. There were neat and clean classrooms.

Faculty: Our college teachers were friendly. The pass percentage was 98%. The course curriculum was relevant. The course curriculum is used in the company now. Their teaching quality was excellent. They conducted more model exams to pass semester exams easily. I came in as a lateral entry student and studied for two years before being placed in the best companies. Some of my friends chose higher education.
