Honest review of Sri Pratap college Srinagar .
Placements: There is no on-campus placement. The majority of students go for higher education. Although some from our department got selected in medical colleges, etc., 20% of students get internships from college via AICTE. Roles offered in our course are Junior Research Fellow and Junior Scientist.
Infrastructure: Our department is equipped with 3 labs, including an Immunology Lab, an I.G. Lab, and a U.G. Lab, as well as a four-story research block. Classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and smart boards.
The library is well-maintained and equipped with a modern digital library system, and there are tons of books available. Additionally, there are 3 reading rooms.
The hostel is one of the best features of our campus, as it is in brand-new condition and the food is great.
Faculty: Teachers in the Biochemistry Department are great; they are the best in their field. Some topics are relevant, while others seem to be a waste of time. Overall, 90% of the topics are relevant, and 10% are irrelevant. However, teachers teach according to real-world needs.
Semester exams are easy, and the pass percentage is 30%.

Needs a little bit of improvement.
Placements: In my course, which is biochemistry , out of 60 students, only 3-5 get placement . The highest package was 12 lacs per annum, the lowest was 7 lacs and the average package was around 9 lacs per annum. 29 percent of students got internships in biochemistry.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Well-equipped classrooms, labs, and libraries are there. Good-quality wifi support is given. The college provides a variety of different courses. The college also has its own medical store , canteen , sports ground and much more.
Faculty: The college provides a wide range of different courses and has almost more than 200 teachers, including permanent and academic arrangement teachers.
All those teachers are highly qualified, which makes the college the best in terms of the quality of education .
