B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2023
3.0
Satisfied with the placements.
Placements: Recently, the college is being developed day by day. There are only a few placements in this college. It requires still more placements in the college for further development. But almost all the students get placed in the college in various companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is developing nowadays in the college and even in the hostel. No Wi-Fi is available in the classrooms and the hostel. The library is good with more than 10,000 books. The quality of food in the hostel is average, but it still needs to improve. A canteen is available and is good.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and have good knowledge. Senior lecturers are present in every branch. They are very knowledgeable with high teaching experience. Semester exams are a bit difficult to pass in the college. The curriculum is relevant to the basic needs of the industry.
Other: Nowadays, electronics and communication engineering has a high demand, and we can choose both the software field and hardware field. So, I preferred ECE. Labs need to be improved further for students based on the required knowledge.

This is an average college with a fee structure.
Placements: There are very less placements in this college. Students have to get jobs by off-campus placements, only less on-campus placements can be there in this college. There are no top recruiting companies. There are no core companies in this branch for recruitment.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the hostel and college. The laboratories are not much adequate for the students in this college. Classrooms are good, but need to improve the basic needs in this college. There may need to improve stroll more facilities in the hostel.
Faculty: There is some difficulty in the semester between the second year and third year. The course curriculum is decided by the concerned university which is an affiliated university. Teachers are very good in this college.
Other: There need to improve the basic needs required for the college. Laboratories need to be improved with the best and most advanced equipment in this college The laboratories technicians need to be more knowledgeable.

It provided good placements in 2021. The college is developing more every day.
Placements: Currently, the college is developing still more every day. Nowadays, the ECE course has 100% students in the college. The highest salary package offered is 5.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies do not visit the college for placements. We have to go through the companies to do an internship. The college management does not give any guidance in an internship.
Infrastructure: Our college has average infrastructure and facilities. It has a good library and classrooms. There is no Wi-Fi facility for students. The hostel has average facilities. The quality of food served is average but not great in the hostel. In the canteen, the food served is good but costly. Sports and games are also available here.
Faculty: Faculty members for the ECE department are very experienced. Their teaching is good. It is a JNTUA affiliated college. The course curriculum will be provided by the university, and it has to be followed by the college. It is difficult to pass the semester exams.
Other: Our college organises department fests, freshers day, etc. Scholarships are available for eligible students.

Our college has good management.
Placements: About 67% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like HCL, etc., visit our campus for placements. Above 60 % got of the students from our course got an internship. Our college offers courses like ECE, CSC and civil.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like hostel and bus facility. Our college does not encourage us to sports, but it only encourages us to study. Our college should improve studies, and facilities must be provided for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good to teach for every student. They encourage us well. If students are poor in studies, then they make them in a good position.
Other: I have chosen this course because ECE is a good course. Our college conducts activities like fests, events, etc.

Students are satisfied to join this college. I am highly satisfied with the college.
Placements: Education is good, but our college students got fewer jobs as the college is developing slowly. Maybe in a few years, our college becomes a top in Anantapur.
Infrastructure: Our college provides the best labs as compared to any other colleges. Our college hostel rooms are good, but food can be improved a bit. Our college gives importance to sports also. In our college, the canteen provides all food items, and you feel good in this college.
Faculty: Our college faculty members help every student, and all are well-educated and experienced. They teach every subject clearly and don't do any partiality. In our college, all departments have well-educated faculty members and supporting staff members. Every staff member behaves friendly with students. Teachers are well-qualified and friendly.
Other: I have chosen ECE because I am interested in that subject. ECE faculty members and our HOD sir are very friendly. In the ECE department, if the practical labs are improved more, then it helps a lot. In our college, every fest and any college events are celebrated like a festival with friends. Surroundings and nature are also very cool.

I am dissatisfied with placement offers of our college.
Placements: There were no placement offers in SVIT which was the one shortage of the college. If you need any placement offers, you wanted to complete the course in our college. There were no placements in our college. If you want, you can go off-campus.
Infrastructure: Hostel food was the worst in our college. There were no water facilities in washrooms so I don't recommend joining the hostel. Courses available in our college were good.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college were good. The teaching was very fluent. Everyone could understand easily with fluent English. They were very flexible to share any problem to solve students' questions. Lab facilities were good. For every student, there was no disappointment.

Overall, my experience on this campus is moderate.
Placements: I belong to the 2025 batch. During my academic period, regular on-campus placement opportunities were very limited; no major company visited the campus for direct recruitment. Most of the placement-related activities conducted were CSR drives, where a few IT training institutes visited the college and selected some students for skill development or training programs. These did not offer direct job roles or employment. Only one local company visited, and they recruited a very small number of students, around 3-4. Overall, placement support during my batch was minimal, and students mainly depended on self-preparation and off-campus opportunities to start their careers.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, and well-maintained classrooms are spacious and clean, with proper ventilation. Labs are adequately equipped for practical learning. Campus Wi-Fi is not available, which is a big minus for any B.Tech college. The library has a good collection of books and study resources, canteen facilities are decent, and sports and games facilities are available, encouraging student participation.
Faculty: During my graduation, the curriculum covered the basic concepts of the course as per JNTUA, but now SVIT is an autonomous college. During my period, examinations were conducted on time, and the evaluation was fair. Teaching quality was average to good; some faculty explained concepts well and supported students, while a few subjects required more practical and application-based teaching.
Other: The best part of my stream, ECE, is the foundation it gives in problem-solving, logical thinking, and understanding how hardware and communication systems work. Subjects like digital electronics, microcontroller, and communication systems help build technical depth. The college conducts freshers' parties, technical events, seminars, and fests, which provide good exposure and student interaction. The campus crowd is decent and mostly focused on academics. Campus connectivity is not good because it is located far away from Anantapuram town, and it is beside the NH44 highway, so no bus stops there; we have to use college buses.
