Srishti Mahipal Institute of Art Design and Technology offers an MA course and an MA in Professional Practices, a degree for which is awarded by MAHE. Fees for MA is INR 9.6 Lakh. Students can get admission to the course by appearing for SMEAT, entrance test of the institute.

Srishti Manipal has a moderately difficult admission process. Candidates first need to register for the course of their choice. If they have qualified any of the accepted national-level entrance-exam, they will be exempted from Test -1 of SMEAT. SMEAT is conducted by Srishti College for admission to courses. According to students and information collated from web, SMEAT exam is in the range of average, which is neither too easy and nor too tough. Srishti Manipal offers seven degree courses in various specialisations at UG, PG and doctoral levels. The programmes are offered in Arts and Design streams. The courses include BDes, MDes, BVoc, BFA, etc. The institute conducts SMEAT consists of Test 1 and Test 2 for providing admission. Srishti Manipal Bangalore also accepts national-level entrance exams like SAT  SAT India for admission to specific courses.

Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design, and Technology is a constituent unit of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The institute started functioning from the year 2020. MAHE has been accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade.

The CEED exam is conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to the M.Des programme offered by the 8 participating colleges. Note that unlike UCEED IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Admission Process for CEED 2024 qualified candidates. Instead, candidates will have to apply directly to the participating colleges on the basis of their CEED 2024 merit ranks.

SMEAT exam pattern is such that there are three tests conducted by the institute:

• Test 1: Written Test (Those appeared for UCEED/ CEED and SET and have valid scores or ranks can exempt from the test.)
• Test 2: Studio-based activity test. (All Applicants have to undertake the test)
• Test 3: group/individual counselling session. (All Applicants have to undertake the test)
