A good college if you have no other option.

Placements: No on-campus placements are offered. They have recently invited some local companies for placement drives, but little to none get placed in a handsome job. Students are not industry ready themselves, there is no focus on research or placement in the college.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good enough for an engineering college but labs lack greatly when it comes to performing practicals or project work. Students are forced to find labs outside the college if they want to work. During my time, most of the apparatus was uncalibrated or dysfunctional.

Faculty: Faculty is quite good for teaching purpose.The course, it doesn't make students industry ready. Semester exams are controlled by Kashmir University and there's a very good chance that nothing of what you've studied the whole semester will be asked in the question paper. However, it is beginning to change since last year. Hopefully, they'll sort this out.

Other: Cultural programs are the only plus when it comes to SSM.

I am satisfied with college as they help you to choose the right path for your future.

Placements: SSM College is good for its placements. When you pass out of college, you would be able to get a job at any good company.

Infrastructure: There are a large library and well-maintained classrooms in our college. Canteen food was awesome, and the medical facilities were superb.

Faculty: Teachers always help you if you have any problems. The course makes you ready for industry, and it is a good batch. The college is good for everything with good sanitation.

Other: I have chosen civil as it has good scope in Kashmir. I was also interested in civil engineering, drawing and painting, decorating ideas and opportunities to work with you to reconsider.
