
JKCET Counselling 2026: The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&KBOPEE) will conduct the JKCET 2026 counselling in June for admission to BTech courses. JKCET 2026 Counselling Fee
Candidates have to pay INR 1000 as fee payable at the time of counselling registration. Fees can be paid online through debit card/ credit card/ net banking. Upon clicking the "make payment button" on counselling registration, the page will redirect to the bill desk page where you can select your mode of payment. After making the payment of the JKCET counselling fee, the candidates will have to take the printout of the payment receipt.

The JKCET counselling schedule is announced after the JKCET result is announced. The candidates who qualify in JKCET can submit the online/offline preference forms for JKCET counselling. The online/offline preference form enables a candidate to fill in the preferences for various disciplines/institutions for allotment of seats for admission in BE/BTech Engineering courses in the government and private colleges of the UT of J&K/Ladakh. JKCET counselling will have 2 rounds and one mop-up round. A final, special counselling round can be held if needed.

How to Apply for JKCET Counselling 2026?
To participate in the counselling of JKCET 2026, the candidates will have to register online and fill application form. Candidates will also have to fill the college and course preference form during conselling registration. In the form, candidates will fill preferences for seat allotment in BE/BTech disciplines of Government and Private Engineering Colleges of the state. - Complete JKCET counselling registration and application process by filling the required details.
- After successful registration, candidates will receive login details on their registered mobile number and email ID.
- Candidates are required to login their account and select most preferred preference first along with the college of preference followed by second, third, fourth and so on.
- Candidates have to fill up at least one preference for a discipline/college. Without filling any preference, no candidate can proceed further.
- Candidates can modify their preferences until they finally submit the JKCET 2026 counselling preference form.
- After that, pay the prescribed fee online before the last date of submitting the form.

- Registration: Candidates will initially be required to enter the requisite/mandatory details for registration and obtain the password for subsequent login into the website. After login, candidates can view their Personal Details and CET Score by clicking on Personal Profile.
- Fill preferences: Next, candidates have to fill out the preference form and lock the preferences before the last date. Candidate can add and delete preferences anytime but before the last date and before locking their preferences. During the online/offline filling up of the Preference Form, the candidates will get all the details of the disciplines available viz-a-viz the institutions.
- Make fee payment: Candidates will be given an option to “make payment” of the fee online only after the choices are locked, Fee must be paid before the last date of submission.
- Print the form: Candidates are advised to take a printout of the preferences they have selected by clicking on “Print Application Form” and retain a copy of the same.

JKCET 2026 Seat Allotment
The seat allotment result will be published online on the JKCET website. Candidates will be allotted seats based on the rank of candidates, considering the choices filled by them and their ctegory. Candidates will be able to check their seat allotment status by login to the website. If a seat is allotted, candidates have the option to accept or reject the seat.
Once the seat is accepted, candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fees and report to the allotted institute for confirmation of admission. In case, any candidate is not satisfied with the result then they may apply for the subsequent round of counselling. JKCET seat allotment 2026 will be done based on merit-cum-preference and candidates have to join the college within the prescribed period by submitting original educational & academic documents, category certificates, etc.
