Students are required to take at least two Inter Disciplinary Electives during the 3rd and 4th semester to be eligible for the degree
Various career enhancement diploma courses are offered like Diploma in Television Production & Screen Writing, PC Hardware, Finance for Managers, Travel and Tourism Management

The college is decent, and the placement opportunities are good in 2020.

Placements: About 60% of the students at our college are placed. The highest salary package offered is Rs. 60,000 per month, and the lowest salary package offered in our course is Rs. 40,000 per month. The top recruiting companies that hire the students from our course are some of the top research companies. Students need to get 80% in their academics to get an internship from our course. The top roles offered in our course are the option of choosing to work in a research environment or as a lecturer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available for our course are very good. The Wi-Fi is decent, the labs are clean and well maintained, the classrooms are decent, and the library is good. Our college doesn't have any kind of transport or hostel facility. The food in the canteen is good, but they serve small amounts for higher prices. The games and sports in the college are excellent as the teams in various sports have already won the state-level ranks and acquired names at high levels. Indoor games are also available here.

Faculty: All of the teachers are extremely knowledgeable and qualified for their respective degrees and higher degrees. The quality of the education provided is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes most of the students ready at the end of the semester of their second year or third year. The semester exams are moderately difficult as they are part of the CBSE syllabus and SSC-based students can pass the exams too.

Other: I chose this course because I like to do research in zoology. I want to major in these subjects. The best things about our college are the garden maintenance and the faculty members. I wish they would give us more information about the research in our course. The events and fests in our college are really good and happen really often, but it's not much because the other people on the course do them. The crowd in college is decent because the juniors and seniors have different timings. The campus surroundings are very calm and in a friendly neighborhood. The scholarship opportunities at the college are really good. The extracurricular activities are good.

Placements: 1. 20% of the students were placed from my course. 2. The highest salary is 50,000 and the lowest is 10,000. 3. Top companies: Uber, Amazon, Shanta Biotech and KTS Health. 4. Roles offered: genetic counsellor, professors, researchers, medical diagnostics, etc. 6. Percentage of students who got internships: around 50%.

Infrastructure: Facilities available: labs, instruments, classrooms, library, Wi-Fi, projector, computers. Accommodation facilities are not provided by the college, but many hostels with affordable and good accommodations are available nearby. Food is provided all the time. In the college, there is proper infrastructure for sports and a separate medical Centre.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good, the teachers are helpful and always available to clear our doubts. Most of the teachers are PhD scholars. The course curriculum is relevant and covers most of the topics relevant from Masters point of view. The experiments also give valuable hands on experience.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue research in biotechnology, specifically in molecular biology. I wish that the course material would have been a bit more advanced, because that would have given us an edge while competing with B.Tech students. There is regular stream of events and programs conducted in our college which includes industrial training programs and workshops.
