A. The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) Tamil Nadu has revised TNEA counselling dates and details. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling registrations are ongoing, whereas the general TNEA Counselling process will start on Jul 7. TNEA 2023 counselling process includes registration, assignment of random numbers, certificate verifications, rank list publication, and finally the counselling. The counselling rounds will include steps like Choice Filling, Allotment, Confirmation of Allotment, and Reporting to the College/ TFC and payment of fees depending upon their confirmation. The last date to apply is June 4 and the last date to complete document upload is Jun 9. Random numbers to the candidates will be assigned on Jun 6. Certificate verification at TFCs (Online) will be held from Jun 5 to Jun 20. Further, TNEA 2023 rank list will be published on Jun 26.

B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have secured the above-mentioned percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together with 50% marks in Mathematics separately. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science & Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. Candidates belonging to SEBC/ PD category will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. However, candidates who have passed 10+2 with 45% marks (Relaxation of marks for SEBC and PD category is not applicable) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are also eligible under Management Quota. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2019. |
