The college has good faculty and, a peaceful environment with growing career support.
Placements: In my batch, around 45-50% of students got placed, especially from commerce, management, and IT courses. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, while the average is 8 LPA. Some regional firms and a few national companies visit our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of St. Joseph University is decent. We have Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, projectors, a well-equipped library, and basic computer labs. The campus is decently clean, and has a calm and green atmosphere. Hostels are available for both boys and girls.
Faculty: Teachers are generally supportive and approachable. Most teachers are qualified and try to help their students. The curriculum is aligned with current trends, especially in journalism and mass communication, where they even include short-term projects.
Other: I chose journalism and mass communication because I wanted to pursue a career in media and content creation. The best part of this course is the balance between theory and practical learning especially photography, video editing, and reporting sessions.

The finest college ever seen with NACC score of 3.97/4.
Placements: The placements are available for the B.Sc courses, and many companies like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. come to the college to hire the best students. But for B.A. courses there are few placements opportunities, but you get to learn a lot in B.A. courses and are placed with good packages.
Infrastructure: The college has one of the finest infrastructure and facilities for the students. The college has good working Wi-Fi, the library full of books, good sports complex, auditorium, and different blocks for each stream is available for the students. The best classroom with digital classes and one of the finest infrastructure capabilities in the college.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are one of the best in the country. The teachers and the staff are highly educated and help you in your all-round development. The college has one the finest courses for the students and anything worth the interest you can find it in the college. The college has supportive teachers and staff for the students.
Other: The college organize several events in the college. There are different associations and clubs for your co-curricular development, and cultural fests also happen every year. The college has good student ratio and a fantastic environment for the students.

It is the best college to join in arts stream, worth studying there and faculty members are awesome.
Placements: We don't really go on placement basis, but we have 100% placement. All MNCs across Bangalore visit our college. Average salary would be 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. It is the overall skill development programme which is being conducted for the students to get evaluated by the MNCs visiting our college.
Infrastructure: The quality of labs and classrooms are amazing. Wi-Fi facility is available for us on the college campus. The library is the next level. The medical facilities are provided to the students whenever needed. The hostel facility is available for both girls and boys. The college management supports the sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly with students. They are very helpful. They are highly qualified, and also knowledgeable. The faculty are highly involved with students careers and their achievements. They are very motivating and encouraging. They are very inspiring to students. We also get industrial experience during the final semester.
Other: Fest and extracurricular activities are good. The scholarship is provided to the students.

Absolutely loved this college.
Placements: As a student of St. Joseph's pursuing Journalism and Sociology, I'd say the placement scenario is quite promising, though it varies by individual performance and networking. About 70-80% of students in Journalism secure internships, while Sociology internships tend to be fewer. The highest package range around 6-7 LPA, with the lowest being 2-3 LPA, and an average of 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include media houses like Times of India, The Hindu, and non-profit like CRY and Teach for India. Common job roles offered are content writers, social media manager, and research associate. Internships are often offered by organizations like NDTV, News18, and smaller NGOs.
Infrastructure: As a student of St. Joseph? S College, pursuing Journalism and Sociology, I found the facilities to be well-maintained. The Wi-Fi on campus is reliable, supporting research and online work. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, and the media labs are modern, aiding practical learning. The library has a vast collection of books and journals, ideal for academic exploration. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms and adequate amenities. The mess food is average but nutritious, and the canteen offers a variety of snacks. Sports facilities are decent, and the medical center provides basic health care, ensuring overall student well-being.
Faculty: You need to have 75% attendance to be able to give exams papers are tough but they prepare you for what is upcoming. The professors are amazing always willing to help the studenfs. The professors are industry experts so they give you an insight on how the industry functions.
Other: The campus was good had a vibrant atmosphere and hill crowd .

Hi Aditya, As per your marks in class 12th board, you are eligible. But, the problem is higher cut off of this college. You can apply for this college, but getting a seat will be difficult. People around 90% marks occupy the seats of this college generally. Best of luck.
