B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence - Batch of 2029
4.8
Our college is known for discipline and knowledge.
Placements: Around 80-85% of students from our course are placed through campus placements. A few students chose higher studies or startups, so they didn't sit for placements. Roughly 70% of our batch got internships, mostly through the college and some through referrals. Last year, the highest package was 8 LPA. Top roles offered are Machine Learning Engineer -working on models, training datasets, and automating predictions. Data Scientist / Data Analyst - analysing data, building dashboards, and driving insights. AI Engineer - building AI-based features like recommendation systems, chatbots, etc. NLP Engineer - working on text, speech, and language-based AI systems.
Infrastructure: For our course, all the facilities and infrastructure provided are awesome. We have good labs, library facilities, well-oriented classrooms, and the Wi-Fi of our college is also working very well. The food in the canteen is also very good, and our campus also focuses on games and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, they help us in every possible way. They are all well-qualified and have a lot of knowledge about our domain. The quality of teaching they provide is superb, they clear our every doubt, and they not only focus on book knowledge but also give us industry-level knowledge. They make us ready for the industry. Our exams are held very strictly and properly, they are a bit difficult but good, and the pass percentage is 45% in every subject.
Other: I chose this course because I had a specific interest in this domain. The best thing about this course is that we learn many things about the technology that is required in today's world. Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc., are the best here. We all enjoy our campus life very much.

Satisfied, strict, and disciplined, it's not a college, it is a school.
Placements: The Artificial Intelligence Department had its first graduation batch in A. Y. 2024-25, and 29 students are placed out of an approximate batch of 60 students, with the highest package of 8 LPA. Students received offers from reputed companies such as Cognizant, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Global Logic, Infocepts, Hitachi, SmartData Enterprises Ltd., Hotelkey, Nice Software, and Dealermatix. Most roles are in software, IT, and analytics domains, and the Training & Placement Cell provides good guidance and support.
Infrastructure: The AI department has good classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a helpful library. The campus is clean and peaceful. I am a day-scholar, so I don't know much about the hostel, but the canteen food is decent and basic sports and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The teachers are supportive, well-qualified, and explain concepts clearly. You can even contact faculty members after college hours, even at 9 pm. The curriculum is updated and industry-focused. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with two exams per semester, and the passing mark is 45%.
Other: I chose AI because I'm interested in future technologies. The course has helpful faculty and good practical learning. The campus is peaceful with events like Technex and Insight. The only drawback is weak internet, which is affected by network jammers in college premises. There are 2 blocks, A for core branches and B for Soft branches. The campus is small, but it's very cool and interesting to explore. You can not be outside the classroom during lecture time.

Overall, it's a good choice for students seeking quality engineering education in central India.
Placements: Placement cell is active, with companies like TCS, Capgemini, Hitachi, Persistent, and Cognizant visiting regularly. Average placements range between 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA, with top offers touching 10 LPA to 12 LPA. Top roles offered by companies are data analyst and data scientist.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi gives good network in both college and hostel. College also provides various sports facilities along with a multi-facility center.
Faculty: Most faculty members are well-qualified holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees. Teaching is a mixture of theory, practical and project-based learning. SVPCET follows the autonomous curriculum under RTM Nagpur University guidelines. Courses are updated regularly to match industry needs including subjects on AI, IoT, data science etc.
Other: Various technical, cultural and sports events takes place in the college feasible with both intra and inter college competition.

Strict college with a no-go hostel.
Placements: Honestly speaking, the branch of Artificial Intelligence is relatively new here, so there is no definite answer as to how high the placement for the course is. But if I have to answer, the highest package offered for B.Tech is 23 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel blocks are separate as per male and female students, and both have different eating spaces and other facilities, except the playground and indoor sports room. Male students are not allowed in the female students' block, and there is a watchman present all the time. The food given is breakfast in the morning, lunch, and dinner at night. Three times a week there is non-veg available, but the quality of food is not that great. You can't cook your own food, and if you want to install a cooker or fan, you can do so, but you will have to pay the bill for it. Yearly fee of the hostel is between 60,000-70,000.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, even if they are strict. They teach all the syllabus thoroughly and take revisions before exams, and are even available for lectures if students have any doubts. The first year is the same for all branches, but there is a subject called 'Professional Foundation' which is different but branch-related. Exams are all based on what is taught in the classes. You can easily pass if you just study PYQ and read it thoroughly, but to score you have to study hard.
Other: There aren't many fests and events, college life is too strict. Much like school, it is even boring.

The best academic college in Nagpur.
Placements: 60 to 70 percent of students get placed in our college. The average package offered is 3.5 LPA. College provides us with various opportunities and helps us grow our skills so that we can get placed in good companies. Almost all students get internships at our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available all the time, classrooms are excellent, libraries are available all the time, and you can borrow books from the library to make notes and learn new subjects. Hostel facilities are good. Three-time meals are provided of good quality.
Faculty: This college is famous for its academics because they ensure that the curriculum is designed well and they have the best professors to teach students. Semester exams are taken at the end, and you can easily score well if you follow and listen to your teachers in college.
Other: I chose the course because this is a trending branch, and you've got the best teachers here and the best academics at the college. Events in college are awesome, and you get a good crowd here.

It is strict and too far from the city. It is at least better than other colleges.
Placements: This college is just like any other tier 3 college, but better than KDK and Priyadarshini. It's strict, and it's the only downpoint. The alumni network is pretty strong. Internships are for everyone in the last semester. But on campus, the placement ratio is 60-70 percent.
Infrastructure: All labs are equipped with a Wi-Fi facility. We can get Wi-Fi in classrooms by taking the hotspot from a PC used for a projector. Hostel and mess are available. We get both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Three times a week, there is paneer and chicken as an option. For day scholars, there is a canteen, but it's very crowded. There is proper ground, but mostly, we are not allowed to go there during periods. There is no chance of bunking classes as we will be caught. For sick people, there are sick rooms with beds.
Faculty: For 1st years, teachers are temporarily hired from other places, but from 2nd year, we will be taught by teachers from our own selected branch department. There is no chance of any cheating on the practical exams. The course curriculum is well updated. In every semester, there is something different from previous years, except for a few subjects like maths. The study isn't that difficult. Even if we are an average student, we can score pretty well and maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or above. Industrial visits are conducted at least once or twice per semester.
Other: I chose AI since it's booming right now, and it has a better scope in the future. The department of AI is one of the kindest compared to all other branches, not gonna lie. HOD is the chillest one among all. Students will be in good hands if they choose this branch. Fests are low compared to other colleges, but there are a lot of technical events. Scholarship management is a hassle, so we can pay some extra amount to avoid it for OBC, SC, and ST students.

Strict discipline and a mandatory 75% attendance policy.
Placements: The college has an active and supportive placement cell that works hard to connect students with top companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, and L&T Infotech through regular campus recruitment drives. On average, students receive salary packages between 3.5 and 5 LPA, with the highest offers going up to 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in college is okay, they don't let us use AC till 12 noon. In hostel, the food is good, they provide breakfast in the morning, tea in the evening, and of course lunch and dinner. Hostel league is held every year. All hostelite get divided into seven or more teams and compete for ranks. Hostel has good culture and discipline.
Faculty: Faculty members are all good, and curriculum is also up to date. Faculty members are qualified, supportive, and focus on both theory and practical learning. College offers solid infrastructure and a peaceful atmosphere conducive to focused study.
