Good college life in Pallotti.
Placements: Placements are relatively better for core branches than for tech branches. The average package is 8-12 LPA. For IT, the top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Bosch, etc. Almost every student is eligible for institute internships.
Infrastructure: Each department has good infrastructure. Facilities are also good. The classrooms and labs have pretty good accommodation. There is a library with plenty of books. Never choose the hostel. The food is very bad, and facilities are not good. There are too many rules and regulations, especially for girls.
Faculty: Faculty is good, and all are qualified and knowledgeable. They help students with their problems, and extra time is given for doubt-solving. The course curriculum is very good. It also includes interaction periods with seniors, and sports time is provided. Semester exams are good, and all study materials are provided to students.
Other: There are study-related clubs that students can join alongside academics to develop their skills and participate in competitions. There is a tech fest called Technex and a cultural fest called Insight every year. There are also Traditional Day, Western Day, and many sports activities in which students can participate.

Satisfied with teaching faculty and strict rules.
Placements: Nearly 50–60% of students from Mechanical Engineering get placements. The highest package is around 8–9 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Mahindra, Hyundai, HCL Tech, and others. Nearly 40–45% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: In our department, we have Wi-Fi-enabled labs, digital and spacious classrooms, and a library with Wi-Fi. The hostel is clean. It provides decent food. College has sports equipment and grounds for both indoor and outdoor games. In case of emergencies, a vehicle is available for hospital visits.
Faculty: All teachers teach well and clear doubts whenever asked. They focus on practical learning. The pass percentage in semester exams is around 80%. Makeup exams are conducted before the final exams. This course helps students learn about machines and their applications.
Other: There is a group named Ashwa Rides in which students build two F1 cars and represent the college at different events and competitions.

B.Tech. in Industrial IoT - Batch of 2028

Honest college review by an IoT student.
Placements: The recently passed out batch in our course is doing their internships in different sectors, companies, or organisations which is compulsory for every 8th sem student. Some of them are interning at IIIT Hyderabad as IoT interns. Companies arrive in the college right from the 7th semester.
Infrastructure: Our course has 3 labs for 3 different subjects. Each lab has its own personalized Wi-Fi network which is available in every computer and each computer in all three labs is completely working with a good network connection. Besides classes and labs there is a tutorial room for assignment-related activities.
Faculty: The faculty of our courses is good for basic engineering subjects. For advance subjects faculty members are not as good as they should be. This course makes students industry-ready only if the student has focused on the core subjects. College has a relatively grading system so passing the exam is a bit easier than absolute grading.
Other: I chose IoT because it is a growing field and also this course offers integration of multiple branches like mechanical, electronics, and computer Science. Though the subjects and teaching methods they offer could be more diverse and should be more branch-oriented.

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placement opportunities.
Placements: Our branch from the IIOT course had decent placement opportunities. Around 55 to 60 percent of students are placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is around rupees 6 to 7 LPA, the lowest package is about rupees 2.5 to 3 LPA, and the average package ranged between rupees 3.5 to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the IIOT and engineering courses is good and well maintained. The campus has Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, well-equipped laboratories with modern instruments, and smart classrooms that support digital learning. The central library has a wide collection of textbooks and journals, which helps in academics and projects.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified, experienced, and supportive, with good subject knowledge and a helpful approach towards students. The teaching quality is satisfactory, with a mix of theoretical concepts and practical explanations through labs and projects.
Other: I chose the IIOT course because it combines electronics, automation, and software, which are in demand in modern industries. The best part of this course is the exposure to IIOT technology, sensors, automation systems, and practical lab work, which helps build technical skills. The college organizes various technical events, workshops, seminars, and cultural fests, creating a lively campus atmosphere with a diverse and friendly crowd. The campus has good connectivity, and the surroundings are calm and student-friendly.

Our college is known for discipline and knowledge.
Placements: Around 80-85% of students from our course are placed through campus placements. A few students chose higher studies or startups, so they didn't sit for placements. Roughly 70% of our batch got internships, mostly through the college and some through referrals. Last year, the highest package was 8 LPA. Top roles offered are Machine Learning Engineer -working on models, training datasets, and automating predictions. Data Scientist / Data Analyst - analysing data, building dashboards, and driving insights. AI Engineer - building AI-based features like recommendation systems, chatbots, etc. NLP Engineer - working on text, speech, and language-based AI systems.
Infrastructure: For our course, all the facilities and infrastructure provided are awesome. We have good labs, library facilities, well-oriented classrooms, and the Wi-Fi of our college is also working very well. The food in the canteen is also very good, and our campus also focuses on games and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, they help us in every possible way. They are all well-qualified and have a lot of knowledge about our domain. The quality of teaching they provide is superb, they clear our every doubt, and they not only focus on book knowledge but also give us industry-level knowledge. They make us ready for the industry. Our exams are held very strictly and properly, they are a bit difficult but good, and the pass percentage is 45% in every subject.
Other: I chose this course because I had a specific interest in this domain. The best thing about this course is that we learn many things about the technology that is required in today's world. Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc., are the best here. We all enjoy our campus life very much.

Satisfied, strict, and disciplined, it's not a college, it is a school.
Placements: The Artificial Intelligence Department had its first graduation batch in A. Y. 2024-25, and 29 students are placed out of an approximate batch of 60 students, with the highest package of 8 LPA. Students received offers from reputed companies such as Cognizant, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Global Logic, Infocepts, Hitachi, SmartData Enterprises Ltd., Hotelkey, Nice Software, and Dealermatix. Most roles are in software, IT, and analytics domains, and the Training & Placement Cell provides good guidance and support.
Infrastructure: The AI department has good classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a helpful library. The campus is clean and peaceful. I am a day-scholar, so I don't know much about the hostel, but the canteen food is decent and basic sports and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The teachers are supportive, well-qualified, and explain concepts clearly. You can even contact faculty members after college hours, even at 9 pm. The curriculum is updated and industry-focused. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with two exams per semester, and the passing mark is 45%.
Other: I chose AI because I'm interested in future technologies. The course has helpful faculty and good practical learning. The campus is peaceful with events like Technex and Insight. The only drawback is weak internet, which is affected by network jammers in college premises. There are 2 blocks, A for core branches and B for Soft branches. The campus is small, but it's very cool and interesting to explore. You can not be outside the classroom during lecture time.
