It has a good canteen. The woods are the best place to sit, and all Xavierites will agree with me.
Placements: B.Com BAF, BMS, and MBA courses have a 0-1% placement chance. B.Com is nice as the timings are in the evening, so one can also pursue another professional course or do a part-time job. Many students pursue CS or CA, prepare for government exams, or prepare for the CAT exam. It’s helpful and great, but traveling is quite hectic as it’s an evening college.
Infrastructure: Okay, not that great. Hostels are for boys only. It's okay, but they should have hostels for girls as well, as many students come from different states. It’s difficult to find a safe place to stay. It’s also hard for parents to send their child to a completely different place.
Faculty: Teachers are nice, but the VP and the principal are not cooperative with students. Even when parents come to meet them, they do not resolve doubts or queries properly or provide any suggestions or solutions. However, teachers are more cooperative than the VP and the principal. They listen to our doubts and suggest necessary solutions.
Other: Overall, it is a nice college. Half of the time, there are fests going on, which causes a shortage of attendance among students.

Overall, the college is amazing.
Placements: Placements are nice, with a wide range of companies coming to campus to look for applicants and provide a decent package. It's a good college, and by being in Mumbai, it offers a wide range of companies coming to look for their new recruits. Definitely a good college.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and hostel if you compare with other colleges. Clean drinking water, electricity, and all the necessary amenities are provided. The building and hostel are all clean and nicely maintained, and the food is not bad, it's better than other places I have tried.
Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified and have strong subject knowledge. They know how to teach in a way that students can easily understand, and they are very helpful at every step. Such cooperative teachers are rare in colleges, which is a good sign.
Other: It’s totally value for money in terms of studies, campus life, extracurricular activities, and networking with a lot of students from different places. One should aim for a college that gives maximum extracurricular opportunities, and this place is the one.

Life at St. Xavier's College.
Placements: Out of 120 students last year, approximately 50 were placed in top firms like HUL, Accenture, EY, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Brain. Top roles offered by the companies are consulting roles in marketing and finance. The highest package offered was 36 LPA by HUL.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old, and although it is beautiful because of its legacy and historical relevance, there is no air conditioning in most classrooms other than 2 or 3. The canteen food is very good, with great variety in all kinds of cuisines. Most hostel students rely on the canteen for all meals.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and helpful to all students. They are welcoming and take extra measures to ensure students are able to grasp the concepts clearly. The curriculum is very relevant with a lot of real-life applications. The exams are challenging, with a pass percentage of 40%.

Worth the money and the faculty, placements are nice if you're well-prepared.
Placements: About 60% of them are placed, and the highest package this year was 18 LPA. Top recruiters are the Big 5s and Brain, Zomato, etc. The shortlisted candidates are selected based on their marks and internship experiences. Although the placements are nice, one has to be well-prepared for the interview.
Infrastructure: Department facilities are quite good, where we have a Bloomberg terminal for further study. The hostel facility is average, and since it is inside the college campus is worth the money. The college tests are pretty effective in helping us prepare for interviews and will greatly benefit internships.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice and the curriculum is up to the mark. Exams are pretty moderate and are effective. The exam syllabus will make us industry-ready and every lecture is interview-oriented. There are a lot of things to self-study and maintain. All notes have to be taken diligently.

The faculty and academics at xaviers.
Placements: About 60% of the students in my course get placed with an average package of 6 LPA, and the highest last year was 27 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are Bain, Morgan Stanley, Zomato, Accenture, etc. Almost every student who applied gets an internship during their 2nd year in companies and startups. Most roles are HR and consultancy roles.
Infrastructure: We have college Wi-Fi, a college gym, and two libraries—one being a reference library and the other a lending library. Each class is equipped with a projector, etc. The hostel is inside the college, with rooms being 3-sharing, and the canteen is also close by. The rent is 16,000 per month, and there are only shared washrooms available. As for games and sports, we have basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, chess, badminton, table tennis, and an annual sports competition as well.
Faculty: Most teachers have Ph.D.'s in their subjects, and we even have visiting faculty who are industry experts and consultants in their subjects, such as business law, rural markets, banking and insurance, finance, etc. The curriculum is very relevant, with all the subjects one needs to learn to understand a basic overview of the workings of the financial and business world. The exams are easy to moderate, with only finance being a little hard. Out of 100, we need a minimum of 40 accumulated marks to pass.
Other: Xavier's Mumbai is only second to DU in the BMS course. The placements are great, and the college even has an impressive alumni network, with many working in top positions in companies such as Bain, Morgan Stanley, etc. The course is also very easy to learn and understand, helping to gain a wide range of experience. Areas for improvement include class timings and workload. Sometimes, we have too many project submissions and other activities, such as college fests, making it very hard to manage. The fests occur throughout the year, with Malhar being the biggest fest, along with others like Aamod, Indian Musical Fest, Jan Fest, etc. We also have various student-run groups like the Student Council, Fincell, DIRS, etc., where we gain additional exposure.

Really good infrastructure, facilities, faculty and crowd.
Placements: The college has a very effective placement cell. I've heard of seniors getting placed at leading companies like Deloitte, EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and more. The average package offered lies at 6-7lpa. HUL, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and more offer summer internships to the students.
Infrastructure: The most beautiful thing about Xavier's in the squad. The college has Wi-Fi all over cacampus, computer labs, experiments labs, a main library and a reference library. The college hostel is only available for boys of FY and TY. The college canteen has a variety of foods, from north indian to south, desserts to juices, ask for it and they have it all. The food is above average. There's a sick room with first aid facilities. The college has a badminton court, a basketball court and a volleyball court. Overall, the infrastructure of the college is good.
Faculty: The faculty of the BMS course is highly qualified and knowledgeable. They have a profound knowledge of their subjects. The permanent faculty take the major subjects like Marketing, Finance and HR. The visiting faculty is good too. The course curriculum has a wide range of subjects value by the industry. The exams can be a lot, with internals happening every other month. But these exams are designed in such a way that they prepare us for the end seems.
Other: The best thing about this course would be the different real-life subjects you get to learn. If done right, the course can make you a jack-of-all-trades. The only thing I wish would make it better would be AC classrooms especially considering the Mumbai heat. Events? Believe me there are alot! If not fests or events, there's always some or the other seminar, flashmobs, pre-event happening. Every department has their own fests and then there's Malhar. These fests are the best way to meet people from all departments. I'm not sure about the Scholarships offered. The college is just a 10mins walk from Marine Lies station.

It is an excellent college with good placements and facilities.
Placements: Top roles offered are mid-level managers in different departments of firms like McKinsey, Deloitte, HUL, and PwC. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Internships are provided.
Infrastructure: A library is available. Computer labs, sports courts, and halls are good. Labs are available for practical purposes. A mess and canteen are available. The hostel facilities are good. An elevator is available. Projectors are available in classrooms. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: We have continuous internal assessments and end-of-semester exams, each worth 60 marks. These exams are average. The pass percentage is 40%. Our teachers are good and experienced. They are experts in their respective fields.
Other: We have numerous societies and fests throughout the year, organised by various departments of the college. Our college organises many events.

Really satisfied with the course and have had a great experience and learning environment overall.
Placements: Maximum number of students do get placed out of those who apply. The highest has been INR 30 Lpa CTC, and the average is INR 2-4 Lpa. The top recruiters are Delloite, BCG, HUL, and McKinsey. Internships are required in the second year, but students do get them in the first year as well, mostly in startups, though some have gotten them at Delloite, HUL, and other institutions. Roles are usually as analysts, in operations, or in consultancies.
Infrastructure: Our college building and infrastructure are beautiful, though they're not very big. They're green and fresh. Classrooms are nice and airy; some have AC, but most don't. We have Wi-Fi on campus, but other personal data doesn't work due to internet blockers. The library is big and beautiful, and the labs are well-equipped. Only has a boys hostel, which is decent enough, and the canteen food is good, plus there is a big variety of food. We have medical, mental health, and career counselling facilities, as well as basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, carrom, chess, etc. amenities.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are great with a lot of real-life experiences, so it's not purely theoretical. There was a lot of real-life practical stuff and engaging classes. The course curriculum is relevant, well updated, and makes us ready. Assignments are a big part of exams, and they are very practical and teach a lot. Written exams are not extremely difficult; they are mostly based on what is taught in class.
Other: College is not expensive and is ranked second for whether this course audit is worth it. The crowd is great and welcoming, the seniors are helpful, the campus is filled with extracurricular activities, and there are student clubs for every interest here. No one feels left out.
