The faculty members are very knowledgeable.
Placements: It does not offer handsome salary, and getting a job is quite difficult. There is less chance of placements after B.Sc. One must have to do M.Sc. to get a good salary. Above 50% of students can get internships, and companies are quite normal. But one who is very talented can get a job.
Infrastructure: There are two libraries for the students and all classes are fully AC. They provide a suitable environment for learning. There is no hostel facility at this college. St. Xavier's is a Christian minority college, and they focuses on English. There is a sports office.
Faculty: Teachers at this college are very knowledgeable and understanding too. Their teaching quality is just awesome. They push students to take part in various programs. Pass percentage is 50%, and one can easily qualify for the pass percentage.

    B.Sc. in Botany - Batch of 2023
    5
    5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, it is best college for a B.Sc. in Botany course.
Placements: Botany accounts for approximately 80% of available positions, depending on department. Every year, Hindustan Unilever hires 3-5 students and offers a salary package of approximately 35 LPA. During our training, Pfizer hires two students at a salary package of 30 LPA. Top ten students from college receive pay packages exceeding 25 LPA, while the average salary package offered was 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have a technical library, a department library, and centralized Wi-Fi. Each department has three to four computer laboratories, FAB labs, a physical education center, and three canteens. Each classroom is equipped with a projector, and both labs and classrooms are of excellent quality. College also manages one men's dormitory and two women's hostels, which are well-run.
Faculty: Faculty members are incredibly helpful. Although there are six teachers per semester and more than four staff members for lab work, they are all kind and knowledgeable in instructing students. They are also polite and compassionate. With a 99% pass rate, semester examinations are easy to score highly on.

    B.Sc. in Botany - Batch of 2023

    5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, the best college for B.Sc. in Botany Course.
Placements: Nearly 60-70% of pupils were placed on campus. The highest compensation payout available is between 17 and 28 LPA. The lowest compensation range is from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Wildlife SOS, Greenpeace, and Syngenta are the top recruiters. This course offers a variety of specializations for horticulturists and geneticists working for enterprises and industries.
Infrastructure: The college is exquisitely planned and nicely constructed. Free Wi-Fi is available on campus. It features four canteens, a central library, an international gym, a basketball court, a football field, and a game parlor. There is a clinic at the college as well. Students can use the hostel facilities. On campus, there are three distinct dorms for boys. The rooms have nice furnishings. There is also a mess facility.
Faculty: Instructors are very helpful and honest with their students. They also possess a wealth of expertise and qualifications. The level of instruction is good, and most teachers use intelligent classrooms. We are also exposed to the industry. The course content is revised as needed to assist us in becoming competitive in the field to meet its requirements. Exams for the semester are simple, and 89% of students pass.

Honest review of St. Xavier's College by a senior student.
Placements: Mostly all the students who have above 85% will get placed through upcoming placements. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Companies like Tata, Axis, HDFC, CSI, and other top-rated companies and banks participate in placements, and nearly half of the students will get internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Most of the faculty members are PhD scholars and are very well trained for college education. Even the office staff is very kind. There are two counselors in the college appointed for students who feel depressed or have other personal issues.
Faculty: The professors are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good, and concepts are explained clearly. Semester exams are sometimes tough and sometimes moderate, and they are never easy to pass. The minimum passing percentage is 40 in the semester examination and 20 in the internal examination.
Other: As a botany student, I suggest this course if you are really interested in plant sciences. Our department and the zoology department have very expensive machinery and equipment for students' practicals. The only area that should be improved is increasing admissions for male students.

Dissatisfied with quality of teaching and Unjust fee structure .
Placements: A very low placement rate, especially in my course, lower than 20% of the students that interview get placements. Not a lot of companies are visiting, infact, since I joined the college, they have completely topped with campus placements. We also have no provisions for internships. Even if a student crack an internship for themselves, the college authorities don't give you privilege to continue, as it is absolutely necessary to have minimum 75 % attendance by the end of each semester or our admit cars for end semester exams don't get issue.
Infrastructure: We don't have a campus hostel for girls. Only for boys, there is campus hostel. With very less, smalled crammep up rooms with 4 beds. Very bad quality food, unhealthy too, many students get frequently food poisoning. No Wi-Fi or library present there at all.
Faculty: Maximum teachers are guest faculty, so they rush the course classes very much. The curriculum don't make the students competition ready, let alone industry. We have to self study most part. Semester exams are pretty easily structured, very basic shallow questions. , from broad topics. No depth.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in research, but the lab facilities are quite bad. Most of the equipment are very old fashioned and even broken, they don't won't, and when they do we get wrong results. Though in the fee receipt, they mention 20 k of our feels just for lab maintainence. Yet in a practical course like biotechnology, the labs are of very poor quality. The teachers are very unaccomadating and rude. You don't get a leave even if your parents have D.Ed or you have MET with an accident.

It's a good college but can have better options in this price range.
Placements: 79% the lowest package was 25k per month and the highest was 28k per month 89% students got internship from. My course and there are lots of companies I actually don't know the names The top role that was offered to me was assisting manager in infosis office .
Infrastructure: Food was average in taste Hostel was well and cleaner but It was too congested to live there Medical facilites were nice, they were always concerned with our health and there were so many *tais* who used to clean our rooms when we were ill the helped us a lot Games were also good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful but not that much knowledgeable, even though they don't force us to study they just wanted us to pay the feels on time The course was relevant and It has a lot of scope in future The semester exams were difficult but they were actually helpful for our Next papers and practical learning .
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in it only and nothing else.
