I am satisfied with the faculty, good placements, and peaceful environment.
Placements: It's not mandatory for students to sit in placements but Students who sit for placements are offered more than 60%, the highest would be around 5.5 LPA the lowest would be 2.1 LPA, goldman Sachs cognizant etc., it's mandatory to do internships so mostly all the students would do internships, HR .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and exposure are very good. The library is available during college hours as well as on some weekends. I am not a hostel student, but from what I know, the food is decent and the environment is good. However, you need to get an out-pass if you want to go out, and if you're a Catholic student, you should attend mass at the college chapel.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and approachable, and the teaching quality is really good compared to others. The curriculum is relatable and interesting. Semester exams are tough, but you can get through them if you've studied well, but it really depends on the subjects; for instance, subjects like statistics are really tough.
Other: I chose BBA because I really liked the course outcome. The exposure you get in this course is really good, and it could include more industrial visits. The fests and events are great, and it would be a memorable experience if you participate in them.

Good place to learn new things and gain knowledge.
Placements: 50% of students were placed in top companies.
Wipro, KPMG, ICICI bank, RBS are the top recruiters.
90% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. There is no Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms and library seems to be good and neat.
Good quality of food is provided. All varieties of food are available inside the college.
Medical facilities are available for emergency needs.
Sports and games are given importance.
Faculty: Friendly faculty members. They are very helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable.
The course curriculum is relevant for industries.
Other: Games, extra activities and additional courses are available.

It is an amazing and worth college.
Placements: Top recruiting companies of our college are Goldman Sachs, Wipro, Zoho, Ernst and Young, World Bank, Cognizant, KPMG, Royal Bank of Scotland, Deloitte, Google, HDFC, ICICI, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Consultancy Services and Amazon Corporation.
Infrastructure: The college has an amazing Infrastructure with research labs. The college has air-conditioned labs, newly constructed lecture halls and 2 libraries.
Faculty: All teachers here are qualified, and they can impart knowledge and understand the need for the subject to the students. The curriculum has been revised according to the current system.
Other: I have chosen this course since I wanted to do something different instead of going for regular B.Com. The college is very active in conducting cultural events in and out of the campus.

It was the best 3 years of my life. Had a great time gaining knowledge and making memories.
Placements: Around 80% students were placed. The average salary was around 5lpa. The companies which came for placements are EY, Goldman Sachs, ICICI, RBS etc. The internships offered are also pretty good, quite a few companies came to take interns. The big 4 companies visit the campus during placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is pretty old, however it's well maintained and has decent classrooms and labs. The library will have all the books you need during your course at Stella. The Hostel is not that great, I would suggest you look for a hostel outside campus.
Faculty: The teachers were all quite helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, however there is less industry knowledge. The teaching quality is pretty good, however more practical knowledge has to be inculcated in the students. The administration is quite strict.

Stella Maris College in Chennai does not publicly specify a minimum cut-off percentage for BSC Computer Science; however, they consider class 12 marks and conduct an entrance test and interview. No, there is no BSc Bioinformatics course in Stella Mary's College for 2025-2026 but they do offer a M.Sc in Bioinformatics course in Stella Mary's College for 2025-2026. For B.Sc, you have to look for other colleges for BSc Bioinformatics course.
