Candidates need to complete any UG degree with at least 50% aggregate to apply for TAPMI Manipal MBA programme. Final year students may also apply. However, the admission shall be cancelled if they obtain less than 50% aggregate in their graduation. Aspirants applying for MBA Technology Management must also fulfil below requiements:

• Minimum two years of work experience
• Should be able to demonstrate interest in technology domain in the technology interview round

The TAPMI accepts several exam scores including CAT, CMAT, XAT, and NMAT. It has released separate cutoffs for separate exam for different MBA specilisations. Considering the TAPMI MBA cutoff 2024, the percentile needed to get into TAPMI for Master of Business Administration (MBA) is 95, 85, 80 (score), and 80 for CMAT, CAT, NMAT, and XAT, respectively. TAPMI Manipal offers MBA as a 2 year PG level programme with an annual intake of 570 students, including all the specialisations. Furthermore, the Institute offers admission to MBA based on merit and entrance exam scores. The fee structure at TAPMI is bifurcated into various components, namely tuition, security deposit, and hostel fee. TAPMI Manipal fee structure includes a tuition fees ranging from INR 7.2 Lacs to INR 16 Lakh, with hostel fees ranging from INR 3.45 Lacs to INR 34.5 Lakh. The Institute charges a one-time fees ranging from INR 40K to INR 41.85 K. All the aforementioned figures totals to give a course fees ranging from INR 11.05 Lacs to INR 50.92 Lakh.

TAPMI MBA admissions are done based on merit in the qualifying examination. CAT is not the only qualifying examination accepted by the college. TAPMI also accepts XAT, GMAT, and NMAT for making admissions to its MBA courses. Moreover, entrance exam scores are not the sole basis of selection. The college reviews candidates based on their past academic records, personality, and performance in GD and PI.
