Poor management in Terna.
Placements: 67.8% students get placement. The highest average package is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest average is 3.25 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS and Mahindra. Top roles include a full-stack engineer. Companies came and took aptitude in 1st round, which is easy.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but the canteen is not great. The lab and classroom are decent. Have a few indoor games like carrom, chess, and table tennis. Classroom is good, and a few have AC. Labs are good too, but the mess is not good, very poor, I didn't like it though Wi-Fi is provided.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They help you with your studies and also give good advice. Course curriculum is already set by Mumbai University, not that great. Mumbai University is not difficult to pass. The semester exam is good. Passing marks for the subject depend on the total marks. For an 80-mark paper, 32 is passing, and for a 60-mark paper, 24 is.
Other: I like technical stuff and also designing the website front and its functions, so I chose it. Every semester, we learn new things, which is the best part, rather than studying theory for the exam. I wish we have more business or real life like companies based oriented practical test. Events and fests are best.

Overall, the college is decent, not that good, but not that bad either.
Placements: The number of placements and the companies visiting this college are decreasing day by day. There are not many opportunities for the students who are heavily dependent on college for their placements, like me. The students who used to be placed has also become fewer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, it's not that disappointing. There is no proper ground for this college, instead, there are turfs for the students to play football and cricket. Labs and classrooms are also decent, and the library is the best among the colleges in Mumbai, also because it is very huge and perfect for students to carry out their work without any disturbance. It is one of the best libraries in Navi Mumbai.
Faculty: They don't pay more attention to whether the students are really understanding what they are teaching. The college is under Mumbai University, so the whole course and curriculum are of Mumbai University. The teachers are qualified but not sufficiently skilled, I must say, except for a few.

The campus is medium-sized, and Wi-Fi access is limited across the campus.
Placements: The average package for placements is approximately 3.7 to 4.5 LPA, while the highest package ranges from 13 to 22 LPA. Around 60 to 70% of students are placed every year. The top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, Capgemini, etc. The active placement cell provides support by conducting training sessions to help students prepare for the recruitment process.
Infrastructure: The campus spans approximately 3 to 5 acres and is conveniently located opposite Nerul Railway Station, ensuring easy accessibility for students. The campus is surrounded by greenery, providing a pleasant atmosphere. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and whiteboards. Some classrooms are air-conditioned, while others have standard fans.
Faculty: Faculty members comprises a blend of seasoned educators and new instructors, as professors bring notable experience, including backgrounds from esteemed institutions like CREN and BARC. Students highlight that certain faculty members are passionate and effective in their teaching methodologies.
Other: The college organizes several events like Resonance, Avalon, Sportec, and Revive. Resonance is the college's annual cultural event, held in March, and features a variety of performances including dance, music, traditional performances, and drama. Avalon is the college's technical event, attracting participants from across Mumbai. In addition to these, the college also hosts a sports championship with various athletic events. Revive is a series of fun-filled days, which include celebrations like Gang Day, Bollywood Day, Traditional Day, and DJ Nights.

Less satisfactory than I had expected before taking admission.
Placements: Placements are quite good for CS and IT. The recent highest package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte and TCS. The core placements are in poor condition, the least package offered to the core branch is 1.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Overall, the college is satisfactory. The library and internet facilities are top-notch. Sports and games are good as expected, but I don't know about hostel life as I'm a day scholar. Classrooms are not that clean. The benches are broken and a few of them are well in some departments.
Faculty: College follows the university curriculum, which is quite good. The faculty and helping staff are nice and good in nature. I can't say the curriculum makes students industrial-ready, as it only focuses on theory more than practical. So, it's quite satisfactory.
Other: Fests are held regularly, once every academic year. I got into this college through the CAP quota.

Average college in Navi Mumbai. Placements are good and I am satisfied with my college.
Placements: About 70-80% of students get placed in campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, IBM, Infosys, Jio, and many local companies visit the college for placements. From the 2024-25 batch of my seniors from the CS branch, about 80% of students got placed. I do not have any idea about roles offered to students.
Infrastructure: Labs are average, and classrooms are also average. The library is neat and clean. Wi-Fi is available in the library. I do not stay at the college hostel but my friend stays at the hostel. My friend told me that the hotel price to high. If first-year students opt for the hostel, they should compulsorily eat food in the hostel mess. From the second year, students have the freedom to eat anywhere and do not pay for hostel mess. The hostel mess food is not very good. It is less than average.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are new but the old faculty are very good. Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. I personally feel teaching quality is good. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready but makes students knowledgeable and skilled. Semester exams are of difficult level depending on how we study. PYQ papers are very important here. Above 85% of students pass in all subjects.
Other: Overall, the college is good. The college does not have a huge campus, but they have a turf which is allowed to college students for free as per batch for 3-4 hours. The college has many committees from which students can able to socialise. College organises different fests like freshers, Avlon techfest, Rreview, Rangtanrang, Antara, etc. This college has the best connectivity from Mumbai local train. The college is 500 meters away from the railway station. Seniors are also very supportive. Various scholarships are provided by the college, and in my batch 8 students get scholarships. It also conducts extracurricular activities like events dance sessions, yoga sessions, and sports like football and cricket. The college also has a gymkhana in which we can play carrom, chess, table tennis, etc.

Unbiased review of Terna Engineering College, Navi Mumbai.
Placements: Very good placements here in this college. All big companies like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. recruit students from here. Internships are also provided on time in core and IT sectors. The average package for the IT branch is 6-7 lakhs per annum, while core can be settled for 4-5 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but not up to the mark. The college lacks a big campus, the same as most colleges in Mumbai. The campus is fully equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. Labs and classrooms are well-managed and fully technologized. The canteen is also good here, and the outside street food is too good that you must try.
Faculty: Exams are controlled by Mumbai University. Teachers are highly qualified. They provide deep knowledge of the syllabus with both practical and theoretical knowledge. The course curriculum is very relevant; it aligns with modern IT teaching syllabi. Semester exams are easy if you study well.
Other: The IT sector is on the rise these days, so this course enables you to join the tech revolution. Also, IT is one of the highest-paying jobs in India and outside. Now, coming to the entertainment point of view, events, and fests are the most important part of every college. They are celebrated well here as well. The events are huge.
