A good college with decent placements.
Placements: In our college, specifically in my course, around 70–80% of students are placed. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest is around 2.8 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. Roles offered are Software Developer, Analyst, and Power BI.
Infrastructure: We have ACs in our labs and projectors in all our classes. The library is fully air-conditioned and has more than 3,000 books. We also have an Apple lab. I live in the hostel, which is on campus. We have two or three sharing rooms, and it is cleaned every alternate day.
Faculty: We have well-experienced teachers who are very helpful. Our semester exams are moderate, and anyone who concentrates in class can easily pass. All the subjects taught are helpful during placements and interviews. We have two unit tests every semester of 20 marks each, and from the second year onwards, we have mini projects.
Other: I chose Computer Engineering because it is in demand in today’s market, and I am keen to learn. We also have cultural fests, inter-college fests, and technical fests.

Decent faculty support, average facilities, manageable academics, but needs stronger industry focus.
Placements: Hi, I’m Ritvik from Terna Engineering College. Placements were very good in this college before 2015, but now the placements are not as good. Not many students get placed, and most of the students are still not placed.
Infrastructure: The college has a hostel, a turf, a canteen, and a campus. They have not upgraded the infrastructure in years. Bamboo boards have been there for 1.5 years, and they don't provide passes for playing regularly. Most of the time, we need to pay for playing, but the campus is quite big.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, while others don't seem to be very experienced. Exams are conducted well. College exams and university papers are organized properly. If you study the important topics, the semester exams are easy. Most students pass the exams, but some get a KT.
Other: Events and fests are organized very well here. Most of the festivals are celebrated grandly.

Poor management in Terna.
Placements: 67.8% students get placement. The highest average package is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest average is 3.25 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS and Mahindra. Top roles include a full-stack engineer. Companies came and took aptitude in 1st round, which is easy.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but the canteen is not great. The lab and classroom are decent. Have a few indoor games like carrom, chess, and table tennis. Classroom is good, and a few have AC. Labs are good too, but the mess is not good, very poor, I didn't like it though Wi-Fi is provided.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They help you with your studies and also give good advice. Course curriculum is already set by Mumbai University, not that great. Mumbai University is not difficult to pass. The semester exam is good. Passing marks for the subject depend on the total marks. For an 80-mark paper, 32 is passing, and for a 60-mark paper, 24 is.
Other: I like technical stuff and also designing the website front and its functions, so I chose it. Every semester, we learn new things, which is the best part, rather than studying theory for the exam. I wish we have more business or real life like companies based oriented practical test. Events and fests are best.

Overall, the college is decent, not that good, but not that bad either.
Placements: The number of placements and the companies visiting this college are decreasing day by day. There are not many opportunities for the students who are heavily dependent on college for their placements, like me. The students who used to be placed has also become fewer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, it's not that disappointing. There is no proper ground for this college, instead, there are turfs for the students to play football and cricket. Labs and classrooms are also decent, and the library is the best among the colleges in Mumbai, also because it is very huge and perfect for students to carry out their work without any disturbance. It is one of the best libraries in Navi Mumbai.
Faculty: They don't pay more attention to whether the students are really understanding what they are teaching. The college is under Mumbai University, so the whole course and curriculum are of Mumbai University. The teachers are qualified but not sufficiently skilled, I must say, except for a few.

The college offers good academic support, decent placements, and improved infrastructure.
Placements: Hello, I'm Paras, and I am from Terna Engineering College, Nerul, which is affiliated with Mumbai University. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, graduating in the batch of 2024. The placement percentage is 75-85%. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The highest package is 18 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. The internship percentage is 70-80%. Top internship companies are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and Persistent Systems. Top roles offered are cloud engineer, data scientist, and cybersecurity analyst (limited availability).
Infrastructure: The campus facilities are good. The campus provides Wi-Fi connectivity in academic blocks. The computer department has well-equipped laboratories with high-speed internet, modern PCs, and updated software. Classrooms have comfortable seating and proper ventilation is available. The quality of food is average to good.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are highly qualified, holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees, and are knowledgeable in their respective fields. The curriculum follows Mumbai University's guidelines and covers important core subjects such as Programming, Data Structures, DBMS, AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and IoT. Semester exams are moderately difficult—not too easy, but manageable. Typically, 85-90% of students pass each semester.
Other: I have always been passionate about technology, programming, and problem-solving.

Average college in Navi Mumbai. Placements are good and I am satisfied with my college.
Placements: About 70-80% of students get placed in campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, IBM, Infosys, Jio, and many local companies visit the college for placements. From the 2024-25 batch of my seniors from the CS branch, about 80% of students got placed. I do not have any idea about roles offered to students.
Infrastructure: Labs are average, and classrooms are also average. The library is neat and clean. Wi-Fi is available in the library. I do not stay at the college hostel but my friend stays at the hostel. My friend told me that the hotel price to high. If first-year students opt for the hostel, they should compulsorily eat food in the hostel mess. From the second year, students have the freedom to eat anywhere and do not pay for hostel mess. The hostel mess food is not very good. It is less than average.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are new but the old faculty are very good. Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. I personally feel teaching quality is good. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready but makes students knowledgeable and skilled. Semester exams are of difficult level depending on how we study. PYQ papers are very important here. Above 85% of students pass in all subjects.
Other: Overall, the college is good. The college does not have a huge campus, but they have a turf which is allowed to college students for free as per batch for 3-4 hours. The college has many committees from which students can able to socialise. College organises different fests like freshers, Avlon techfest, Rreview, Rangtanrang, Antara, etc. This college has the best connectivity from Mumbai local train. The college is 500 meters away from the railway station. Seniors are also very supportive. Various scholarships are provided by the college, and in my batch 8 students get scholarships. It also conducts extracurricular activities like events dance sessions, yoga sessions, and sports like football and cricket. The college also has a gymkhana in which we can play carrom, chess, table tennis, etc.

Frankly dissatisfied by faculty, but library and labs are excellent, and placements are average.
Placements: TCS and Infosys are the major companies which come for placement, and their base package is 3 to 4 LPA. They preferably try for software or people related to CS and IT. This has become a routine for all of us to just digest the facts and make ourselves responsible.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are below average, but when you talk about computer labs, auditorium, and library facilities, they are amazing. The only thing about the canteen is that it was average, but the food was below average and not at all tasty, which you can eat or be healthy.
Faculty: Yes, they were qualified but not at all supportive. They just rely on students to study and make their academic look good. The only thing is it wasn't difficult to pass because I think they weren't strict at all. Even below average students can pass, so it was not at all worthy.
Other: The course was most interesting and has a large scope. That is the reason I chose this Computer Science branch.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: Placement typically aims for 70 to 80 percent. The average package is 5 to 7 lacs per annum. They provide placement training programs to students as well. TCS and Deloitte are the recruiting companies that recruit students at Terna Engineering College.
Infrastructure: Great infrastructure and hostel facilities are available; the food is quite good and the staff is also good. Friendly environment is offered. The play ground is available. The canteen is also affordable for everyone, and the overall experience is very satisfying and exciting to create more memories.
Faculty: A great study pattern is followed. There is a 2-unit test before the final semester examination. Teachers are helpful and supportive. Mumbai university exam level is difficult as compared to other universities. But Mumbai university is highly recommended as compared to others.
Other: Outstanding extracurricular activities: Technical fest like Avalon. Cultural fests like Antarang and Revive are the biggest fests of the city, including hackathons, workshops, DJ nights, concerts, etc.
