1. Academic Scholarship :

Terna Engineering college management realizes the importance of encouragement to academic achievers. The governing body of the college has initiated Late Smt. Dr. Chandrakala devi Padma Sinha Patil (Smt. Dr. C. P. Patil) scholarship to rankers/college toppers/class toppers. TEC awards scholarship in the range of rs 10000/- to 30000/- to toppers in various categories.

2. Government Scholarships :
Govt. of India and Govt. of Maharashtra has initiated post metric freeship/scholarship for socially weaker students. It sponsors full/Part of tuition fees under freeship/ scholarship schemes. The government has also initiated a support mechanism through a scholarship to the economically weaker sections under the EBC facility. Students from minority communities are also reimbursed part of tuition fees through DTE, Maharashtra. In totality, 40% of students in Terna are benefited worth INR 7 crore per annum from the government.

3. PMSSS Scholarship : AICTE has started a special scholarship scheme for Jammu & Kashmir students under PMSSS. The details are on https://www.aicte-india.org/

4. Tuition fee waiver scheme: The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) was introduced in 2007 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) for providing highly subsidized technical education to economically backward students, women and physically challenged students. It is a supernumerary quota of 5% of the sanctioned strength for the TFWS students. It is actually financial assistance for meritorious students who have scored good marks in entrance examinations and are opting for engineering admissions. Under this scheme, the tuition fee of the aspirant is waived. The rest of the fees should be paid by the beneficiary.

5. AICTE Prerana Scheme for SC/ST Students :
Grant is received from AICTE for the Implementation of Prerana Scheme for SC/ST Students in the academic year 2019-20 for 2 years at the institute.
The scheme aims at providing financial support to institutes who are willing to put extra efforts for engaging and training SC/ST students for competitive examination. The broad objective of the scheme is to help aspiring SC/ST students seeking higher education through admission tests like GATE/GPAT/CAT/CMAT/TOEFL/IELTS and GRE.
