   Clearly answer is no. A candidate with just 60% in their Class 12 marks is extremely unlikely to be admitted for a B.Sc. at Thapar  School of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

• For the majority of B.Sc. programs, such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc., the minimum cutoffs stay above 75% to 80% for the corresponding subject combinations in the 12th boards.
• The 12th grade grades and the TIET-LSAT entrance exam scores are given 40% weight each in the admission criteria. A mere 60% on the boards places you in a very disadvantageous position.
• Due to intense competition, the cutoffs for well-known programs like B.Sc. Mathematics and Economics frequently reach 90%+ in the final admission rounds.
• Sometimes candidates from CBSE/ICSE boards with scores higher than 90% are not admitted.

The minimum cutoff for B.Sc. is about 1260 marks (75 percentile) in SAT exam. Also, the candidate must pass 10+2 with 70% marks (55% for SC/ST category) in aggregate for three subjects in which English is a must.
