The college offers MBA course with sector-specific dual specialisation.

Placements: You get a chance to attend the interviews conducted by some national pharmaceutical companies, some healthcare centres, and pharmaceutical consulting firms. Pharma companies like NectarLife Sciences, Tirupati Medicare, and ZS, etc., visit the campus for placements. ZS also hires interns for internships. Various banking firms and NBFCs like HDFC, Axis Bank, Kotak, and Mahindra Finance, etc., visit the campus for placements.

Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with appropriate technological aids and good infrastructure. The building is quite new, and the latest technology enabled projector systems are also installed in every classroom. Every classroom is air-conditioned. Our department has a separate library which has almost all the management books and Harvard Journals.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are highly qualified. The uniqueness about this college is that it offers MBA in different sectors like hospital management, pharma management, IT and infrastructure management, retail and banking management. In the two years of their course, the students get dual specialisations in finance, marketing, operations and HR domains.

Other: The college organises its own management fest on a large scale. Other than that, the sports event named Ranbhoomi is also organised by the department. In addition to extracurricular activities, the department also conducts symposiums and guest lectures.

UIAMS pharma pass out review.

Placements: The placement scenario is getting good with every year but only 50 percent students go for a job. Most of the Chandigarh elites who study in this department go for their running business. Pharmaceutical management is one of the odd courses which is introduced by very few colleges in India which makes it different from others.

Infrastructure: If I talk about about infrastructure then being a govt. institute, it has good infrastructure. Department is having good Wi-Fi and other requirements as well. Cafeteria is also there within the department. The only thing it lacks is that it doesn’t have any recreation room where one can relax. Well classes are enough to do this.

Faculty: For a pharma background student, it is not at all difficult to do MBA as this course offers study of sectoral subjects as well. The only difficulty a science background student will face would be in accounts and economics. The faculty members are very good if a student wants to grasp everything but there is a lack in core pharma faculty.

Other: It is a very pleasing MBA college if one wants to do MBA with a 5 star university tag and that too with an economical price. The only negative aspect which makes this college lack is that there is lack of activities at a big level and moreover, the guest faculty which comes to take up lectures are not as enthusiastic as permanent faculty members.
