UPCET BTech 2022 Counselling Process

AKTU has begun BTech Counselling based on JEE Main 2022 results. To participate in UPCET 2022 counselling process, applicants need to register online at uptac.admissions.nic.in. Below is a step-by-step UPCET BTech 2022 Counselling Process:

Step 1: Candidates have to first register for UPCET BTech counselling 2022 using their roll number, father’s name, and birth date; and also complete the documentation and payment.

Step 2: After the registration forms receipt, officials will verify the submitted documents with the UPCET 2022 counselling application form. In case of discrepancy, the authority will contact the candidate on their provided email address/ mobile no.

Step 3: After the document verification process completion, candidates must select the course and college.

Step 4: In case the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotment. Otherwise, in case, the candidate is dissatisfied with the same and wishes to carry forward for the next round, they can float or withdraw the seat.

Candidates must fill out and secure their seat preference. Candidates who make the cut for UPCET 2022 counselling will also be contacted for document verification. The UPCET BTech 2022 counselling cost of Rs 1000 must be paid in order to register for the same.

CSJMU Kanpur University, Kanpur.

Placements: The highest package is 4 LPA this year, and companies like JK Cement or Nerolac are the companies that come for hiring from the chemical department. But I feel that in the upcoming years, placement will get better as the university is also getting better and has good infrastructure.

Infrastructure: The hostel is good, rooms are spacious enough, food quality is also good, Wi-Fi is provided free, but the speed is slightly less, labs and classrooms are getting upgraded, although now also they are modern and way better than others, use smartboard, and the library is also good.

Faculty: Teachers are very good, they are not like those we don't care about students, they make students learn and also have very interactive conversations in between classes about doubts and all. Semester exams are not that hard either if you study well, but not that easy either, as you get passed without studying.

Placements: Around 50 percent of students got placed in the course. The highest package was 17 LPA, and the lowest was around 3 LPA. The companies which visited the campus were Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, Adani, etc. The college offered good placement opportunities for students interested in getting employed. The placement policy was very good and designed such that most students got placed. We needed at least 7 CGPA to get into the placement process. There were interviews and skill tests conducted by companies for placement. Based on the results, the students got their packages.

Infrastructure: The course structure was pretty good if you wanted to learn more programming or had an interest in computers. For research purposes, it was also good as you got a chance to explore what was happening in the technical world, and you also got a chance to make your own website or do many research projects you wanted to explore. Hostels were very well organized and well maintained by the authority. The toilets were very hygienic, the rooms were very spacious, and students were provided with a bed, almirah, and table. Food was not included.

Faculty: Faculty members were very good, very hardworking, and very cooperative with students. Students could approach the faculty very easily. Faculty members were also ready to help students clear their doubts. All faculty members were highly qualified and experts in their subjects. Exams were not very hectic, but you had to study a bit to clear them. Internal exams were conducted for both practicals and written papers for every subject. Labs were also available in which we practiced the practical parts of the courses. Internal practical exams were also conducted by our teachers.

Placements: Placement process was good as companies come to college every year to hire at least 50 percent of the students and can hire more if the students perform. A lot of top leading companies of IT field show interest in the college students like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Adobe, and Microsoft. They all hire the best students and offer various kinds of plays, packages, and benefits. The interview initially has 5 stages or rounds, where the first one is the screening based on which students get selected. The average package is between 6 LPA to 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college understands that a perfect balance needs to be maintained between the skills required in the areas of system and software development to the enterprise level. The programme gives the students the right platform in the areas of software design and engineering information, education, accessibility, architecture, and project management. Separate hostel for girls and boys. Rooms are single as well as sharing. They provide all the facilities for a student including Wi-Fi. Quality of food is good, nutritious, has menu for each day. Provides vegetarian/non-veg food. Registration process is easy and the staff is really very friendly and helpful.

Faculty: The faculty of the college are so dedicated and focused on changing the lives of the students by teaching and training them about the course in a lot of different styles. The college tries a lot of different approaches. Exam structure is tremendously hectic. Semester system is followed where every year has 2 semester exams and 4 mid-semester exams. The practicals are very tough and you need to be prepared to be able to pass them. They have made it sure that you experience the real-life pressure in the exams and understand the needs and demands of the industry.

Its great to take admission in this college, make sure to consider this for core engineering branch.

Placements: Everything is great about placement. Things here we get a chance of internship at industrial level program which eventually helps our CV to get better day after day. Last year, the average package of our college was around 7 LPA which was quite decent.

Infrastructure: The whole campus is equipped with Wi-Fi. The library has books. Our faculty at CSJMU is top-notch. They help us to get better in all aspects of learning and facing the filled day after day. I am able to generate a great interest in learning new skills, and this is because of our professor.

Faculty: All teachers are ex-faculty of any prestigious college or have completed their degree at the highest possible level. They are really experienced in their field. They make the hardest concept easy is next to impossible, most of them have their Ph.D. from IITs or from DU and BHU.

Other: Our campus is lush green and has free Wi-Fi. The hostel rooms are quite decent and are value for money. The college has its own metro station.

Till now, this college is satisfactory.

Placements: In the last two batches, about 70% of students got placed, but not at a good pay grade. The highest package is 5.5 LPA and the lowest is around 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are paint companies, cement, etc. Almost all chemical engineers' roles are offered in different industries to most of our seniors.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent, with Wi-Fi and a smart board. Hostels are decent, there are double-sharing rooms (well spacious) and a mess which provides you with food, and there are playgrounds for playing and keeping you guys physically fit. The mess food is decent.

Faculty: In our course, the teachers are good and qualified from a reputed institute, some are from IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is relevant to date, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are of a moderately difficult level. Almost everyone who attends a college lecture passes the exam very easily.

Other: Interested in field work more. They have to focus more on practical knowledge. Everything is organized by the different clubs of the university.

Placements: The placement and job opportunities were not many as the college is located in Kanpur city. Although, according to that place, it provided efficient opportunities for students to groom themselves and move forward in life. Almost 60-70% of students get job offers. The college pays special attention to bringing companies to the college placement drive. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, LIC, IBM, Google, Flipkart, Amazon, etc., visited the campus for placement and offered a minimum package range of 5 LPA to 15 LPA based on the skills. The companies visiting here are local, so you have to manage internships as well.

Infrastructure: This course is good for making our future in the software and IT field. In this course, you will learn about computer languages like C, Java, Python, HTML, PHP, and other subjects like software engineering and accounts management. It focuses on the development of teachers' subject matter knowledge, knowledge of students, and subject specialization. The hostel is good. There are about 4 hostels: 2 for girls and 2 for boys. The hostel environment is also good. The fee for the boys' hostel is about 42200 for 11 months, so you get a hostel form.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and experienced in teaching the subjects. They are the most experienced faculty and they hold the best experience and knowledge to teach anyone. Some teachers used to come, and some did not. I found very good and experienced professors. Professors are knowledgeable, and they are very cooperative. The exam is conducted every quarter, semester-wise. When the semester starts, one exam is taken after the mid-semester examination. The end-of-semester examination carries more weight. It is out of 50 marks. The mid-semester is always in October for the odd semester and in March for the even semester.
