Somewhat disappointed due to hostel availability, I am happy to get a decent placement at just 95%.

Placements: I think 70 percent of students got placed last year, as I've heard from seniors. The highest on campus is 27 LPA, I think. Off campus, it is 35 LPA and maybe more than that. Placements are decent here according to the percentile. Median is 8 LPA according to seniors. Companies come for all sorts of roles, which can be expected from a college of this caliber.

Average in all aspects; the rest depends on the individual.

Placements: I am a student of the ECE department in UIET college, and looking at the placement of our senior batch 2021-2025, the placements went average with an average package of 8 LPA. There were companies for analytics roles, with the top company being ZS, but for the role of software engineer, the requirements of companies were very high and dynamic.

Best government college for droppers.

Placements: In IT and CS, there is 90% placement, while in ECE and Mechanical, the placements are decent. The highest package is 42 LPA. Students get internships in IITs and nearby industries. The main companies that come are Wipro, TCS, Mahindra, Airtel, and many more with good offers.

Absolutely satisfied because of the environment of the center of the city of Chandigarh.

Placements: My brother who passed out in 2023 said that all the eligible students got placed in 2023. The highest package last year off campus was around 20 LPA by American Express which took around 2-3 students. It is the top recruiting company off-campus. Here we have to grab internships on our own without the help of college which is one of the drawbacks of college.

Absolutely satisfied because of the projects. During my course, placements are going well.

Placements: Talking about placement offers on campus, we have strength of 70 students, out of which 35 students got placements. The placement session is still going on. The average salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 7 LPA. Many students also got internships by ZS Associate. Many more roles are offered for placements by GET.

Value for money, and good placement opportunity.

Placements: The placement scenario in our college is good. A lot of companies like KPMG, Deloitte, etc. visit our college, and we have a DIC lab that collaborates with Nottingham University in the UK and offers internship opportunities to bright minds. A lot of companies start visiting our campus even before the 8th sem. The faculty is supportive and would definitely help you secure internships and such.

Yes, you can take admission in BTech under NEP 2020 if there is a five year gap between your class 12th and date of admission. This applicable for undergraduate courses in the university.

No, you can transfer the BTech course fee even on migration if your previous college was also in UIET CSJMU Kanpur. In case you have taken admission in the middle of the session, you need to pay the fee due since July, when the session started.

Yes, you can apply for BTech admission if you appeared in qualifying exam. This will remain provisional until you submit proof of passing the qualifying exam. You can submit a duly authenticated marksheet at the time of admission.
