College is good because of its location and placements are decent for higher branches.
Placements: The average package in CSE is 9 lacs and the highest package is 30 lacs.
Top companies are American Express, Deloitte, TCS, Loreal, Infosys, KCMTG, etc.
There is no internship provided formally here; we have to apply on our own.
70 percent students are placed in CSE or IT departments.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good of UIET Sector 25 as it is so old; classrooms are not air-conditioned for 1st year students and are also so old; the library of college is good but it closes at 9 pm; labs are also air-conditioned; hostel infrastructure is good; and mess food is also okay. There is sports options for people who have interest.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable while you have to study by yourself from your side.
Semester exams are average, as I gave minor only; it was just average, not very difficult. For the 1st semester, 50 percent credits are required to pass to the next semester .

UIET - a happy place to begin but not a happy place to sustain.
Placements: University Institute of Engineering and Technology has an average percentage of placements, providing an average package. Out of the batch of a particular year, CSE and IT have a higher percentage of students placed. The maximum on-campus package for the ongoing batch is about 19 LPA, offered by American Express. Although off-campus, the highest package recorded is 42 LPA from Amazon.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel, especially the new hostel, is very nice. There is Wi-Fi available 24 hours. However, sometimes there will be no water supply in the hostel, but it is resolved as soon as possible. The food in the hostels is neither brilliant nor worse; it's average. The infrastructure of the college is good.
Faculty: The only problem in the college is that there are very few permanent professors; the rest are guest lecturers. The curriculum is very good, which neither puts stress nor makes you completely relax. Whether the course makes you industry-ready is completely up to you; it's your hard work. However, the course will give you a kickstart. The semester exams are very easy.
Other: The campus life of the college is excellent as it comes under Panjab University. The campus life is just excellent.

Admissions in UIET for B.E. courses will be made on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Rank (AIR). There will be three rounds of online counselling followed by one last SPOT round of online counselling. Only the registered candidates will be able to participate in these rounds of counselling.
