Full Enjoyment, but Stay Consistent.
Placements: The placements are decent for the rank at which they are providing the CSE branch, around 12 LPA. The placement percentage was around 80-90%. The highest package on campus is 45 LPA. Summer internships are also provided here in the first two weeks of summer vacation.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are decent compared to the fees we are paying. The hostel fee is just 1k INR per month, and that too in Chandigarh. The sports facilities are very good. The campus is great, and there are many advantages of being related to Panjab University.
Faculty: The curriculum is not as hard as in other colleges. The teachers are good if you are good to them. Being consistent is the key here. The mid-sem tests are easy; out of the two mid-sem exams, the better one is conducted, and the end-sem is also good. The pass percentage is a minimum of 40/100 per subject.
Other: You will get exposure here the most, as you don’t only interact with your batchmates but also with students from other departments. Also, you learn about the hype of student politics here and enjoy the freedom of the non-restriction policy on the hostel.

College is good because of its location and placements are decent for higher branches.
Placements: The average package in CSE is 9 lacs and the highest package is 30 lacs.
Top companies are American Express, Deloitte, TCS, Loreal, Infosys, KCMTG, etc.
There is no internship provided formally here; we have to apply on our own.
70 percent students are placed in CSE or IT departments.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good of UIET Sector 25 as it is so old; classrooms are not air-conditioned for 1st year students and are also so old; the library of college is good but it closes at 9 pm; labs are also air-conditioned; hostel infrastructure is good; and mess food is also okay. There is sports options for people who have interest.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable while you have to study by yourself from your side.
Semester exams are average, as I gave minor only; it was just average, not very difficult. For the 1st semester, 50 percent credits are required to pass to the next semester .

UIET - a happy place to begin but not a happy place to sustain.
Placements: University Institute of Engineering and Technology has an average percentage of placements, providing an average package. Out of the batch of a particular year, CSE and IT have a higher percentage of students placed. The maximum on-campus package for the ongoing batch is about 19 LPA, offered by American Express. Although off-campus, the highest package recorded is 42 LPA from Amazon.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel, especially the new hostel, is very nice. There is Wi-Fi available 24 hours. However, sometimes there will be no water supply in the hostel, but it is resolved as soon as possible. The food in the hostels is neither brilliant nor worse; it's average. The infrastructure of the college is good.
Faculty: The only problem in the college is that there are very few permanent professors; the rest are guest lecturers. The curriculum is very good, which neither puts stress nor makes you completely relax. Whether the course makes you industry-ready is completely up to you; it's your hard work. However, the course will give you a kickstart. The semester exams are very easy.
Other: The campus life of the college is excellent as it comes under Panjab University. The campus life is just excellent.

Good faculty won't say fully satisfied with it average in placements.
Placements: Top roles are offered by companies like Cisco, Wal-Smart and Amex, though these companies just pick 2 to 3 students but they give good packages of 25 to 30 LPA. One company is Zs associate which is regularly visiting, if concluding CSE then 70 to 80% gets placed with a package above 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: This university is very old so the hostels are also old though construction works have been done regularly and they have been maintained some there are some new hostels but every hostel has its reading room with AC and common with ACs and tv and a gym of their own a park, basketball court and area for other sports like badminton court and cricket area etc.
Faculty: About the faculty most of them are good there are some faculty that you might not like but everyone is highly educated and skilled in their subject that are teaching about the curriculum it was changed this year so now it is very good many irrelevant subjects were removed many new subjects were introduce.
Other: About the events of Panjab University, you will get tired after attending Panjab University fests as there are so many departments every department has its own fest there are a few extra fests also so in total you will get 10 to 15 different fests in the university plus festivals like Lohri, Ashtami especially holi is the most famous festivals in panjab university during Holi all people from near around comes to celebration Holi.

UIET PU Chandigarh Review.
Placements: The placement of this college is too good compared to many other state government colleges or NITs. From the beginning of 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. So many companies visited here for CSE, such as American Express, Amazon, Zscaler, Cognizant, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: Not everyone can get a hostel here. You can get a hostel through the merit list. There are 8 boy hostels and 11 girl hostels. BH 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are on the north campus, and 8 is on the south campus. Mess food is good. All the hostels are very well built. Hostel costs are very low. It is only 10,000 per year. Monthly mess and canteen fees are separate.
Faculty: Professors at UIET are well experienced. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1 to 25. It does not affect the learning experience as much. Professors are very humble and kind to students. You can interact with them whenever you want. They will always help you.
Other: Campus life is very amazing here. It is situated in Chandigarh, and it is one of the best cities in India. The north campus of Panjab University is very amazing. There is a place called STUC. It is one of the prime locations of Panjab University. All the classrooms are well furnished.

Admissions in UIET for B.E. courses will be made on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Rank (AIR). There will be three rounds of online counselling followed by one last SPOT round of online counselling. Only the registered candidates will be able to participate in these rounds of counselling.
