The college provides great learning.

Placements: Maximum 60% of students in our course got placed. The company visited day one was Accolite with the salary package of 10 LPA. The next day Thompson's visited and selected most of our friends, and 12 students got placed in Thompson's. Accenture visited and selected 6 students. In other companies, 2 to 3 students got placed.

Infrastructure: The atmosphere for learning is very fine, and the library was very good. Faculty members are very fine, and they are well qualified. Lab facilities are very good with a good version of the software and updated. Good playground and fine parking with full security are provided.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and qualified. Maximum faculty has done PhD in their specific subjects. There will be no backdrop for studies and placements are very good, and nearly 30 different companies visit every year to intake students. Vasavians is a brand of top 10 MNC companies.

We have a good number of placements, but they have to be improved regarding packages.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, but they can be much better regarding packages. Compared to B.E, PG departments lack placements regarding packages. This year, we have only a few companies offering placements. Later 4-5 companies came for placements. The department concentrates on number placements and companies than the package offered. We cannot expect to settle at PG with a package of Rs.15,000 per month.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is up to the mark. The labs are acquainted with sufficient systems for students to work. Internet facility is available in our college, but it is not provided in the labs or classrooms. Sanitary facilities are comfortable and well-maintained. We have a lift facility in our college. The seating arrangement in classrooms is comfortable.

Faculty: Faculty in our college are very supportive, but they get hectic at times. The curriculum is in a particular trend but can be improvised as it doesn't meet the industry standards. The laboratory curriculum could be made a little more comfortable. Faculty are qualified and knowledgeable. Sufficient faculty are available for the department. Timetable standards are built to reach the outcomes of the curriculum.

Other: We have technical fests, cultural events, sports day and annual fests in our college. They are celebrated with joy and enthusiasm.

Good college with strict assignment writing & mediocre placements for MCA.

Placements: The placements in our college are average for MCA. Only 11 students out of 40 students, got selected with an average package of 3.4 LPA. Many software companies come to the college for placements. It is the 3rd best college in the city after Osmania & CBIT.

Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure in our college with a library and playgrounds. The labs are good with air-conditioner. We have good playgrounds, but they are small compared to other college grounds. We have college bus facility. They charge Rs.22,000 as the college bus fee. They arranged RTC buses for the students, especially from Tarnaka & other areas.

Faculty: The faculty in our college are good. They teach programming & database management. Programming faculty are very good. They imbibe practical knowledge via laboratory works. They are very strict on assignments and other things. Overall, we have good faculty with good knowledge.

Other: Fests and events in our college are good. Fee reimbursement around Rs.27,000 will be provided for the unreserved candidates by Telangana government.

Placements: There are quite good placement opportunities. Every year, 40+ companies visit the campus. The training and placement cell at Vasavi College of Engineering provides personal and career-oriented support for a successful career after our education. The college is top in placement records.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available on the campus are amongst very best. The internet facility is available throughout the academic zone. The college has CSI student chapter, alumni students are kept informed on happenings in the college.

Faculty: The Vasavi College of Engineering is one of the colleges that has introduced value added course like Cisco certification. The faculty are credited with presenting papers in the national computer, convenient experts from IT industry are invited to deliver lecturers on current interest.

Other: Ephoria is the annual cultural fest of the college, the fest runs for 3 fun-filled days.

In CBIT, the quality of study is given importance over a students attendance.

Placements: A good number of students got placed. When students get their first offer, the placement cell won't allow them to attend another company with a better offer than the previous one. The placement cell tells that others should also get a chance which I think is not fair with other students.

Infrastructure: The hostel was not provided in the college as it is a very small college. There is no space for the hostel facility. The food at the canteen is average. The course was good, and subjects are chosen every year in a meeting that was being held between the HOD of the MCA department and the lecturers of the department.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good. There was no information or guidance on the area when students get placed in an MNC on how would be the work experience. The course curriculum was understandable and perfect, but it does not meet the standards of the B.Tech CSE and IT curriculum. B.Tect students do IoT projects, and in MCA, faculty members focus on 75% attendance of the students.

Other: Studying MCA was quite like studying in a school. If students miss a lecture, then they are not allowed for the next lecture. MCA department faculty members used to call student's parents that the student is not interested in studies and does not follow the rules of the college. Parents get worried that students are not studying. Same students can score more than average marks if the correct way of teaching is done rather than calling their parents and making them worried.

The rank of 12230 in M.Set (presumably the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET) is relatively high, and the competition for CSE and CSM seats, especially in the top colleges, is intense. You should be prepared to explore other options.
