My Journey in the VVCE family.
Placements: As our college is an autonomous college affiliated with VTU. We have many campus placements, as more companies visit our college to recruit students. Our college also has a very good placement history in both the core and IT sectors.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is excellent. We have good hostel facilities and a security system for students. There is free Wi-Fi available for students in the hostel. Our labs are well-maintained and have advanced equipment for study and practice. We also have a good library facility with a very good collection of books.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are very student-friendly. They treat and guide us like their own children. They explain topics again and again if we don't understand them. If we still don't get it after repeated explanations, they explain it to us in one-on-one interactions in the staff room. Exams are conducted and evaluated in our college itself. So the question papers are set by our faculty, as our college is an autonomous college.
Other: Our college celebrates its fest once every year, known as VIDYUTH, which is the best event that happens throughout the year. We have free bus facilities in our college for the transportation of students.

The overview is that the college is good.
Placements: In our branch, i.e., Electrical and Electronics, this year there were many placement offers, and almost 90% of the students got offers from reputed companies like Schneider Electric, Moon Rides, Infosys, and L&T. Students are rigorously trained right from the 2nd semester, including aptitude tests and soft skills. Officials from companies like TVS Motors train students and hire them.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped labs with high-speed Wi-Fi. There is a separate floor dedicated to these labs, such as IoT, Python, web development, and many more. Classrooms are also good with fresh air and light entering the rooms. Food quality is also good. There is a food court and a mobile canteen; hence, students can visit either of them. For sports enthusiasts, there is a dedicated sports complex with a wide space to play sports like badminton and tennis, with supporting staff encouraging inter-college competitions. A library with various books and good facilities, like e-book services, is present.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and helpful. Students can approach them anytime to clear their doubts. The course curriculum is relevant to skills that make students industry-ready. The difficulty level is moderate in exams, and to help students with backlogs, makeup or improvement exams are also conducted. The placement and training department trains students right from the 2nd semester, including aptitude tests and soft skills.
Other: I chose E&EE as I was way more interested in learning hardware concepts than software. Vidyuth is an electrifying fest held once a year with alumni felicitation, mind-blowing performances, and a superb ramp walk.

My experience in VVCE family.
Placements: Placement history in our college has been great for a while. So many companies like HCL, Infosys, Samsung, Aarbee, and Amazon will come to our college to hire freshers directly from the campus with an above-average salary package. So we can proudly say that we have a better placement history.
Infrastructure: We have one of the best infrastructures in our college. Hostel is best. We will have a free Wi-Fi connection in the whole hostel. We have a huge library. Our labs are well-equipped with advanced instruments and tech operators. Labs are assigned with the instructor who is available for us all the time to teach them.
Faculty: Our faculty family is very friendly. They convey the topics to us in an effective manner. They won't say no to explain the topics again and again if we didn't understand or find it difficult to understand the topic. HODs are also student-friendly and take decisions in students' favour.
Other: Every year, we celebrate our college fest, which is called Vidyuth. It's the best highlight of our college. We will host guests at an international level too during the time of the college fest.

Strong placements, helpful faculty, and great campus life at VVCE!
Placements: I'm from the 2023-24 CSE batch at VVCE. Around 85-90% of students are placed. The highest package is ₹28 LPA, the average around ₹6 LPA, and the lowest ₹3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, and Bosch. Many students also secured internships, mainly in their 6th and 7th semesters.
Infrastructure: Our department boasts well-maintained classrooms with SMART boards, fully equipped computer labs, Wi-Fi access, and a large digital library with good resources; the campus itself is clean, green, and modern, while hostels are decent with 2-3 sharing rooms and available Wi-Fi, though mess food is average but hygienic, the canteen offers better food options and snacks, and medical facilities with a nurse and first-aid support, along with sports grounds for cricket, football, basketball, indoor games, and a good gym facility, are all accessible on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly, supportive, and well-qualified. Most teachers use practical teaching methods and clear doubts regularly. The curriculum is regularly updated and includes recent industry trends like AI, ML, and Data Science. Add-on certification courses and workshops are also provided. Exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. Internal assessments are conducted timely, and the overall pass percentage is quite high, above 90% in most subjects.
Other: Considering the facilities, placements, and exposure provided, the college offers good value for money. The fees are reasonable compared to private colleges with similar standards. The infrastructure, labs, events, and placement support make the investment worth it.

One of the best college as I had google and the exact experience I had in college.
Placements: The best companies would come for the placements and with a good package of salary and nice placement department. Salary ranges from high-end 30 LPA to 40 LPA. Top performers (1-3 students per year). Majority salary is 4 LPA to 8 LPA. Typical offer range average 5 LPA to 6 LPA across B.Tech cohorts. Branch-wise difference CSE/ISE/ECE typically see higher average packages. Placement percentage (80-90% placed). Mechanical and civil lag behind but core roles are available too.
Infrastructure: Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, sprawls over a 23-acre green campus in Gokulam, about 4 KM from the railway station. The academic infrastructure boasts modern, well-equipped department blocks (CSE and EEE the nearest to the gate, spacious, ventilated classrooms with projectors, CCTV, and lecture-capture systems for easy revision COMED. Academics are supported by a comprehensive library ( 890 meters), with ending/reference sections, digital library, and even laptop ending are industry-standard, and there's a full-fledged computer center and workshops per department. Indoor facilities include a gymnasium, counselling and health center, cafeteria, ATM, bank, stationery shop, post office, and wheelchair-friendly campus.
Faculty: These include official PDFs (timetables, centers, clarifications) for UG/PG programs, M.Tech, B.Voc, etc. An exam circular is an official announcement or order about exams, which may include exam schedules (drafts and final dates), eligibility rules, exam center details, backlog/evaluation, or compensatory test notices. Course-specific or program-specific circulars (e.g., M.Tech, B.Voc, P.G. courses), regulatory updates (like credit courses, syllabus removals). If you are a VVCE student, visit VVCE's exam or autonomous notifications section to download PDF timetables and notices.

The infrastructure is good, but the teachers are not qualified to teach.
Placements: The previous batch got selected, but the overall packages were very low. We do get lots of companies, but still, it isn't enough to fulfil the needs of hundreds of students. From my prediction, I guess our batch will not get as many placements compared to the previous batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is top-notch. The facilities and everything are great. The canteen is clean, and the buildings are good. But there are so many buildings, and I guess they should slow down. There's also construction noise during exams, which is frustrating.
Faculty: The teachers aren't the best. Most of them just read the slides and go on, and they don't look qualified for the job. The courses are a total waste at times, they could have chosen way better courses to improve our skills. The semester exams are pretty average, and we have a good passing percentage.
