A 3-tier college which has good Infrastructure.
Placements: Among all the 180 students of the Computer Engineering Department, only 4-5 students have been placed until now, as only 4-5 companies have visited the college, such as OMP, Capgemini, etc. The highest package offered is 11.9 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.8 LPA, but the students placed are only 9%-10%. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Godrej Infotech, OMP, etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms in our college are air-conditioned with the projectors provided within them. The labs are provided with Wi-Fi and AC facilities. The college also has a huge library. The food in our canteen is average, and there is a gymkhana for indoor games.
Faculty: The teachers are not so qualified, some of them are qualified, and some are not. The teaching quality of some teachers is good, otherwise, some are not good at teaching. The syllabus is not relevant to the industry that is in demand. The passing percentage is 95%. The number of faculty members present in our department is 15-20, and they are there for teaching purposes.
Other: This course provides software and hardware knowledge about the computer. It provides the skills of the most demanding IT industry. There is a College fest in our college known as Zeal. Zeal is the biggest college cultural festival in our college. It is a 6-day fest. There is also a sports festival known as Avahan, which is also 6-day event.

B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2026
3.6
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Decent college experience with good exposure and scope for improvement.
Placements: Around 40-50% of the eligible students in the course are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and average package is 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Bristlecone, Tech Mahindra, and Zeus Learning. Around 50-60% of students got internships at NSE, Feedspot, etc. Top roles offered are data analyst, software developer, project manager, and full stack developer.
Infrastructure: Our (department artificial intelligence and data science) has smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and Wi-Fi. The library has good resources. Hostels are decent, mess food is average, and canteen is better. Basic medical help is available. Sports facilities include indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and qualified, with good subject knowledge and decent teaching quality. The curriculum is fairly relevant and covers basic needs for the industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Pass percentage is about 80-90% with proper preparation.
Other: I am from artificial intelligence and data science batch graduating in 2026. I chose this course for my interest and future scope. Best parts are hands-on learning and tech exposure. It needs more industry tie-ups. Campus has good fests, decent crowd, scholarships, and active clubs.

Absolutely good if you get in right department, there are a lot of departmental issues.
Placements: Last year, 2024-25, the average students placed were about 20-30% and a few opted for a Master's as a career option. Highest package was about 12 LPA (on campus), and about 3.5 LPA was lowest package. Top recruiters were Content Sack, TCS, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered were in development, and few in consulting.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi network is pretty good, the coverage is also decent, but it is not quite good in the labs. Classrooms are good with modern teaching equipment like projectors. There is no hostel facility in the college. Students generally rent a room in a group of 3-4. Sports and games have a fixed time to use, beyond that, the equipment is locked away.
Faculty: Teachers, especially in flagship department of the college, are not very cooperative. Few are, but most of them are irritated half the time. There are very biased teachers who favour students in terms of marks, placement, etc. Teachers generally just read out the PPTs (copied from a famous YouTube channel) again, which is not for all, but majority of teachers. Exams are easy, but the department tends to cut your marks if you are not favourite student of the teachers.

Good infrastructure, placement, and faculty too.
Placements: VCET offers decent opportunities with a 75% placement rate in 2025 with an average of 6 LPA and the highest of 12 LPA package. Internship intake is strong with 550 students annually in both IT and core roles. Computer engineering has the highest package, while mechanical and civil have lower.
Infrastructure: Overall, it's good. College has a library too, with free Wi-Fi. Good faculty for mechanical subjects like thermodynamics, CAD/CAM, and material testing. All labs are good, and there is also a workshop where maintenance is good. All machines are there in the labs, and all equipment is available in the labs.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Students can achieve their goal and be industry-ready. Exams taken are very serious. Even AI is taken seriously and is wise. It's good. Students are getting ready for industry. Exams are good, and up to 90% of students pass the exams.

It provides an enhanced infrastructure in 2025.
Placements: This college provides better opportunities for placement in various departments. Recently, they have conducted campus recruitment training to enhance students' skills related to the placement drive. It has CRT classes. It also arranges personal interviews, group discussions, and vocabulary-enhancing activities to face during the placement drive.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is getting awesome nowadays. It includes an air-conditioned classroom equipped with projectors, Wi-Fi facility, and drinking water facility (cold and normal). There are also lifts in the college. This current year, that is, 2025, our college infrastructure is improving too. The college is equipped with a library to help students learn new things.
Faculty: Our institute has the best faculty members. They are always ready to deal with any doubt that arises in minds of students. All the faculty members treat each student equally. During exams, if we take instructions into consideration, then the faculty members always try to convey proper instructions to students.
Other: I am pursuing a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering because I want to drive deeply into this branch to open doors for my future goal. In our college, special events are also arranged, like Zeal, Avhaan, etc., to refresh students' minds and make them ready to focus on their studies.

Good placements and infrastructure, but poor faculty support.
Placements: I pursued B.Tech in Computer Science and graduated in 2024. In my batch, around 75-80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, while the lowest was around 3 LPA. The average package offered was around 5-6 LPA, which is decent considering industry trends. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, and a few product-based startups.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-maintained computer labs, project labs, smart classrooms, and Wi-Fi across campus. The library is well-stocked with technical books and has a digital section too. The hostel rooms are decent, with 2/3-seaters available. Washrooms are cleaned regularly. There is 24x7 Wi-Fi, and security is good. The mess food is average but hygienic. Canteens offer a good variety at reasonable prices. Medical facilities are available with a full-time nurse and a visiting doctor. The college has facilities for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games.
Faculty: Many faculty members rely heavily on PowerPoint presentations and theoretical teaching, which makes classes less engaging. There is a lack of practical exposure, especially in core subjects, and most sessions do not include hands-on learning or real-world applications. Although the curriculum is updated with topics like AI, ML, and cloud computing, the teaching does not reflect industry relevance effectively. Exams are moderately difficult but mostly theory-based, and students often have to rely on self-study or online resources to truly understand the concepts.
