My college in reality is good.
Placements: This is a very good college. The student has got placements at TCS and local companies are recruiters. The freshers role is offered. The highest package offered is 30 LPA and the lowest can be 2.5 LPA on campus placements. Only a few students get the internship each year like some of them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and well maintained. Wi-Fi works, the library is a pretty big classroom also has good facilities. Labs are well structure well canteen have dynamic menu both veg and non veg. The college does not have a hostel but it has a girls common room.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and some of them teach very well. The rest of them has unecssary attitude. The university curriculum is pretty good. The semester exam is really difficult. Faculties also dont give internals and the pass cgpa is 5 or 6 it really depends.
Other: My course is a core course, so I can have different ways to go. The number of assignment are literally unecessary extracurricular activities are really very good and they also give marks for them.

Is Vidyavardhini College of Engineering good?
Placements: Mostly the average CGPA students are allowed to sit in the placement like 6.5 to 7. Students are allowed to sit in the placement in this range of CGPA. The companies that visit the college are TCS, Wipro, many more product-based companies, and some service based also.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and now it is expanding more, and becoming good day by day. It has a library and 2 big buildings. The canteen is also good, not too big not too fancy but decent. The department has Wi-Fi facilities. Every lab has internet connection.
Faculty: All teachers are good. The exams are not too hard, medium level. Mostly, the IA exams mean that the unit test teacher provides important questions. The exam questions and importants are mostly the same. Even the subjects are not too hard except for one or two subjects that are little different and difficult.

A 3-tier college which has good Infrastructure.
Placements: Among all the 180 students of the Computer Engineering Department, only 4-5 students have been placed until now, as only 4-5 companies have visited the college, such as OMP, Capgemini, etc. The highest package offered is 11.9 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.8 LPA, but the students placed are only 9%-10%. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Godrej Infotech, OMP, etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms in our college are air-conditioned with the projectors provided within them. The labs are provided with Wi-Fi and AC facilities. The college also has a huge library. The food in our canteen is average, and there is a gymkhana for indoor games.
Faculty: The teachers are not so qualified, some of them are qualified, and some are not. The teaching quality of some teachers is good, otherwise, some are not good at teaching. The syllabus is not relevant to the industry that is in demand. The passing percentage is 95%. The number of faculty members present in our department is 15-20, and they are there for teaching purposes.
Other: This course provides software and hardware knowledge about the computer. It provides the skills of the most demanding IT industry. There is a College fest in our college known as Zeal. Zeal is the biggest college cultural festival in our college. It is a 6-day fest. There is also a sports festival known as Avahan, which is also 6-day event.

Absolutely good if you get in right department, there are a lot of departmental issues.
Placements: Last year, 2024-25, the average students placed were about 20-30% and a few opted for a Master's as a career option. Highest package was about 12 LPA (on campus), and about 3.5 LPA was lowest package. Top recruiters were Content Sack, TCS, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered were in development, and few in consulting.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi network is pretty good, the coverage is also decent, but it is not quite good in the labs. Classrooms are good with modern teaching equipment like projectors. There is no hostel facility in the college. Students generally rent a room in a group of 3-4. Sports and games have a fixed time to use, beyond that, the equipment is locked away.
Faculty: Teachers, especially in flagship department of the college, are not very cooperative. Few are, but most of them are irritated half the time. There are very biased teachers who favour students in terms of marks, placement, etc. Teachers generally just read out the PPTs (copied from a famous YouTube channel) again, which is not for all, but majority of teachers. Exams are easy, but the department tends to cut your marks if you are not favourite student of the teachers.

Good placements and infrastructure, but poor faculty support.
Placements: I pursued B.Tech in Computer Science and graduated in 2024. In my batch, around 75-80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, while the lowest was around 3 LPA. The average package offered was around 5-6 LPA, which is decent considering industry trends. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, and a few product-based startups.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-maintained computer labs, project labs, smart classrooms, and Wi-Fi across campus. The library is well-stocked with technical books and has a digital section too. The hostel rooms are decent, with 2/3-seaters available. Washrooms are cleaned regularly. There is 24x7 Wi-Fi, and security is good. The mess food is average but hygienic. Canteens offer a good variety at reasonable prices. Medical facilities are available with a full-time nurse and a visiting doctor. The college has facilities for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games.
Faculty: Many faculty members rely heavily on PowerPoint presentations and theoretical teaching, which makes classes less engaging. There is a lack of practical exposure, especially in core subjects, and most sessions do not include hands-on learning or real-world applications. Although the curriculum is updated with topics like AI, ML, and cloud computing, the teaching does not reflect industry relevance effectively. Exams are moderately difficult but mostly theory-based, and students often have to rely on self-study or online resources to truly understand the concepts.

Good placements and supportive faculty.
Placements: 75% of BE students were placed during the 2025 drive. A total of 272 students received 310 offers overall. The highest package is 12 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is not explicitly disclosed in the 2025 report; previous years saw lows as low as 3-3.2 LPA for BE (e.g., the lowest 3.2 LPA reported by some listings). Recruiters engaged across BE branches included LTI, TCS, Capgemini, CitiusCloud, and Learning Company. Students' reviews and community input also frequently mention Infosys, Just Dial, Media.Net, Mahindra & Mahindra, BDO, Wipro, etc., participating over various years.
Infrastructure: The college offers AC classrooms, Wi-Fi access, well-maintained departmental labs, and a multi-storey library with digital resources like IEEE and ASME journals. However, there is no on-campus hostel; students rely on nearby PGs. The canteen food is decent but varies in quality. Medical facilities include first aid and a visiting doctor. Sports and gym facilities are available, but need better maintenance and upgrades to support regular activities. The campus is well-connected and clean, but the outdoor sports grounds are limited. Overall, the academic infrastructure is satisfactory, but the hostel, food, and sports aspects could be improved for a better student experience.
Faculty: The faculty at VCET is generally helpful, well-qualified, and possesses strong academic knowledge. Most teachers hold master's degrees or higher, and many are approachable for doubt-solving outside lectures. The teaching quality is decent, with some departments actively incorporating practical sessions and project-based learning. The course curriculum, especially for branches like Computer Engineering and Data Science, is updated to align with industry trends, including emerging technologies and programming skills. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing more on understanding than rote learning. The pass percentage typically ranges between 85%-90%, making it manageable for students who stay consistent throughout the semester.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for technology, coding, and the growing demand in data Science and AI. The course offers good practical exposure through hackathons, coding events, and industry-relevant projects. However, the curriculum could include more hands-on lab sessions and advanced electives earlier. The college organizes events like ZEAL (cultural), AVAHAN (sports), and ORION (technical), which add to student life. The campus crowd is supportive and diverse. Being near Vasai station, the college is well-connected. Scholarships are offered under the government scheme. Various clubs like IEEE, CSI, and SAE encourage extracurricular participation and skill development.

Satisfied with the college.
Placements: I am in final year now and college started on 7th July, and 2 companies have already visited my department. The process is good if it continues till end which we are told so there are high chances for everyone and training is also conducted for the placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good like we have labs, canteen, a whole building library, a gymkhana, and a workshop room but just hostel facility is absent. Wi-Fi 5G network is provided to us. Projectors and AC are there in each class. New building is in the construction phase.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for the exams. If we have doubts on a day prior to the exam, it can be solved too. Teaching quality is top-notch like PPTs and videos are shown to us. Exams are strictly conducted, and malpractices are not tolerated too. Overall, good curriculum is there.

It has good infrastructure and well-maintained labs for practical knowledge.
Placements: It is top-demand course so they have seats for 180 out of 720 in college. The highest package is 30 LPA, average package is 6.7 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.2 LPA. Recruiting companies are Contentsack, Accenture, TCS, Godrej, Infosys, and Capgemini. Around 50% of students got internships. Roles offered are software engineer, tester, QA, and data analytics.
Infrastructure: It is fantastic. It has Wi-Fi facilities and more knowledgeable person to guide us for the future. Food is good, and veg and non-veg sections are maintained, and hygienic food is provided by them. All staff members, teachers, and other working staffs are provided the same food as us.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and have more friendly behaviour. They are giving their 100% for students, attending lectures is fun and more practical-based. Curriculum is relevant to industry. Passing exam is easy, if we have studied more, and it is more practical-based than theory-based.
Other: I have got an internship and industry project from one of our professors.
