A well-balanced college experience with academics and extracurricular.
Placements: I am from the 2026 batch of B.E in artificial intelligence and data science at Vidyavardhini's College of Engineering and Technology. The previous batch had an excellent placement record, reflecting their strong technical foundation and problem-solving. Around 75-85 percent of students got placed with packages ranging from 3.6 LPA to 14 LPA. Top recruiters include BrowserStack, Inosys, LTMindtree, Quantiphi and TCS. About 80 percent of students also secured internships at reputed companies like Jio, Amdocs and Fractal Analytics. The roles offered are well-aligned with our curriculum including positions like data analyst, ML engineer and software developer.
Infrastructure: Our department offers all the essential facilities to support both academics and hands-on learning. Computer labs are equipped with updated systems and software and classrooms have smart boards and projectors for interactive sessions. Library is well stocked with textbooks, references and online resources for study and research. Hostel rooms are clean and have reliable Wi-Fi. Mess food is simple and homely. Basic medical support is available on campus. College also has facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports like Cricket, football, basketball and carrom and making all structures well-rounded and student-friendly.
Faculty: Faculty members in our department are qualified, helpful and bring both academics and industrial experience which make learning effective and practical. Teaching quality is good, with balanced mixture of theory, labs, and presentations. The curriculum is relevant and regularly updated with topics like AI, ML, and cloud computing. Semester exam is moderately challenging but fair, with consistent preparation, most students do well.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in AI and its strong career scope. The best part of the course are practical labs, projects, and supportive faculty members. The curriculum is industry-relevant and regularly updated. Campus life is vibrant with events like Zeal and Avahan and various clubs for technical students. Cultural and sports activities are conducted. The campus is well-connected, peaceful, and offers scholarships for eligible students.

Overall, college is good for now. It will get much better with time.
Placements: Placements are average. The highest package is usually 12 LPA offered by ContentStack (mostly for MERN developers). Average salary is 3 LPA - 5 LPA. No company comes for an internship, and you have to find one on your own or talk to your faculty members. Most of the time faculty members have some industrial connections, helping you to get an internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is already great, and it's going to improve with time. It has air-conditioned labs and classrooms, girls' common room (GCR), and clean washrooms. Food is okay in the canteen depending on your taste, but there are many other options in the vicinity of the college. Wi-Fi is available in the library but it's pretty slow so don't rely on that. But labs have really fast ethernet connections so no need to worry about practical and experiments. Sports room including table tennis, carrom, chess, and also gym equipment.
Faculty: I will be very straightforward, every college has some faculty members whose way of teaching is not something you can relate to or understand. But that doesn't mean all of them are the same. There are many other supportive and intellectual people, those are the ones with whom you must have good relations to get actual information on what to study, how to study, placements, master's, innovative projects, etc. In conclusion, there are all kinds of faculty members. Most of them are great, just keep the habit of asking for guidance from the right once.

Supportive faculty and active student life overall.
Placements: Placement rates range from 60 to 90%, depending on skills and academic performance. The average package is from 4-6 LPA, with the highest offers up to 12-20 LPA. Recruiters include TCS, Capgemini, Godrej, Wipro, and so on. The placement cell conducts various training sessions for student development, such as technical and verbal skills.
Infrastructure: I am pursuing Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and the infrastructure for the course is very good. The classrooms are well-lit, air-conditioned, and equipped with projectors. We have access to modern computer labs with updated systems and decent internet. Although the college does not have on-campus hostel facilities, there are multiple PG accommodations near the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. Everyone holds M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees. They are generally supportive and help apply knowledge to real-world examples, project-based learning, and occasional presentations. The curriculum follows Mumbai University guidelines.

Placements: The placement scenario is decent with better opportunities for students from computer-allied branches. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc visit the campus for placements. The training and placement cell organizes training sessions, mock interviews, skill development initiatives, and career guidance sessions. The average package typically ranges from 4-5 LPA while the highest package is 30 LPA [2025].
Infrastructure: VCET provides a good infrastructure. The college has well-equipped computer labs with updated systems and software, and high-speed internet connectivity. All classrooms are spacious and equipped with smart boards, projectors, and AC. Seminar halls are well-maintained and quite spacious with modern interiors. There is a library with numerous books, magazines, e-books, and digital learning resources. The medical facility is available.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and supportive. All of them are M.Teach and most are Ph.D. qualified and some are pursuing Ph.D. holders. The curriculum follows Mumbai University guidelines which are somewhat updated as per industry requirements. Exams are conducted semester-wise with two internal assessments.
Other: It is a well-established institute located at 5 minutes walking distance from Vasai Railway station. It has modern infrastructure and advanced labs. Good college and overall academically fulfilling.
Placements: This year's highest package placed in my department, which is artificial intelligence and data science, was 8-9 LPA. Knowing it is a fresh branch, students get recruited for a minimum of 3.5-4 LPA from recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: We are provided with all facilities like Wi-Fi all around the college, completely air-conditioned classrooms, and a huge library along with an e-library on the ground floor. Not to forget, the hygienic canteen provides both non-veg and veg delicacies, along with clean toilets on each floor.
Faculty: Each and every faculty member is well-versed in their respective subjects and friendly enough to solve all your doubts. Apart from academic support, faculty members also help you immensely with regard to your extracurricular activities and are involved in events hosted.
Other: We have clubs that organize different events throughout the year, and our main fest is ZEAL, along with sports events like AHAVAN.

Vidyavardhini College of Engineering and Technology makes students life better.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA to 4 LPA for tech and non-tech students. Overall it has good placements but mainly placement depends on your skills and experience.
Infrastructure: It has a good infrastructure with a well-maintained library. The campus has all the facilities like a gym, canteen, etc. But there is no hostel available in the college infrastructure. Canteen provides good quality food. It has all labs available in college.
Faculty: There is a good teaching staff except for some. There are 8 semesters in four years but there are 2 internal assessments before a semester. We have many experiment practicals which you have to complete on time to get an average aggregate in your exam.

Decent placements and infrastructure.
Placements: I am from the 2022-2026 batch of B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. In our course, around 65-70% of students get placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is around 5.5-6 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS and Infosys. Internship is not provided by the college. Roles offered include SD and BD.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped computer labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and good classrooms. The library has Wi-Fi, but with a large number of students, it does not work well. There is no hostel in our college. The canteen food is good but expensive. Medical help is available on campus, and there is a gymkhana with strict timings.
Faculty: Most faculty members are highly qualified and supportive. Many are holding or pursuing Ph. D.s and have over 5 years of teaching experience. The curriculum is old. Exams are moderately difficult and depend on students' knowledge. The pass percentage is good, around 80-85%.
Other: The crowd is a mix of students from various cities, and the environment is friendly. A good number of tech fests, cultural events, hackathons, and workshops are organized throughout the year.

Placements: Around 40-50% of the eligible students in the course are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and average package is 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Bristlecone, Tech Mahindra, and Zeus Learning. Around 50-60% of students got internships at NSE, Feedspot, etc. Top roles offered are data analyst, software developer, project manager, and full stack developer.
Infrastructure: Our (department artificial intelligence and data science) has smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and Wi-Fi. The library has good resources. Hostels are decent, mess food is average, and canteen is better. Basic medical help is available. Sports facilities include indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and qualified, with good subject knowledge and decent teaching quality. The curriculum is fairly relevant and covers basic needs for the industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Pass percentage is about 80-90% with proper preparation.
Other: I am from artificial intelligence and data science batch graduating in 2026. I chose this course for my interest and future scope. Best parts are hands-on learning and tech exposure. It needs more industry tie-ups. Campus has good fests, decent crowd, scholarships, and active clubs.
