About Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology from a long-term student.
Placements: The highest package is 33 LPA in 2026 don't know whether it's on campus or off campus. Not the majority of students are placed only 20 percent of students got placed. The lowest package starts around 2 LPA or something. The course they offer or teach in the class is not eligible for a job over 12 LPA, they are only capable of passing the semester exams.
Faculty: Old curriculum by JNTUH, from 2'1, we have to complete online courses like NPTEL and others. The faculty is average not as they advertise on their website. The level of the courses they offer is low-level, like lower than the YouTube free courses, you have to learn from outside the campus if you want placement in a good company. It is not as great as professional colleges, lecturers just read PPT in class and share PPT in groups. Students have to study the PPT to write exams. Labs are running for time pass, they give you a PDF to write in observation, and you have to execute in the lab and write output, with only 20 percent of efforts from the lab faculty.
Other: Most of the students in the college are reservation students who got ranks of 1 lakh, so don't expect decent and well-behaved students around you. The college is in a village so mostly nearby village people will also join. Not as dignified as JNTUH or something, just overhyped.

The worst and scam college (VBIT).
Placements: Around 5% of students get placed in the Cyber Security department. The highest package among them is 10 LPA, and the lowest is around Rs. 30,000. I do not know the top recruiting companies from our course.
Infrastructure: It is very important to maintain labs for students because, in our college, laptops are not suggested like in other colleges. Labs are used instead. However, labs have computers of poor quality that do not work properly. I do not know about hostels because I am a day scholar.
Faculty: Teachers are not good enough to solve students' doubts. They mostly teach using files created by AI on projectors. There is no practical guidance. The semester question papers are moderate and sometimes easy. However, after writing exams, some students fail in difficult subjects like Mathematics and Engineering Graphics. Supplementary exam question papers are made more difficult, which affects students. In this college, it is difficult for students to depend only on college lectures because the environment is not good and the teaching staff is not professionally trained.
Other: Honestly, I did not choose this course in the first place, but I got a seat in this department through counselling. I cannot answer much about this course because I do not know everything about it. Events are rarely conducted in our college. Campus surroundings are average. Scholarships are available, but there are no extracurricular activities in this college.

In 2015, the infrastructure and management were really bad, but in 2024, they changed.
Placements: In Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology, the placement rate is around 60%. The median package is 4 LPA. Top recruiters for the ECE course include TCS, Intel, and Qualcomm. The highest package is 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: In the ECE department, there is good infrastructure and all lab equipment is available. The college provides medical facilities, conducts sports activities, has PT teachers for games, and offers canteen facilities. In labs, students follow a dress code that includes formal attire and shoes, especially for hardware labs.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and provide good career guidance. They are well-qualified. Students can easily pass the semester exams with proper preparation. To pass each subject, students must score 40 marks or above. Faculty is nice, well-educated, and supportive.
Other: The college conducts cultural events once a year and provides many clubs for students to join. It also organizes various events throughout the year.

This is a great college to pass with your engineering degree.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from VBIT. Around 75-80% of students get placed with packages ranging from 3 LPA to more than 20 LPA, and the average package is 4-6 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture. IT companies show interest.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. It has a few nice blocks and a few blocks to be made. This college has around 7-10 blocks which are divided among the different departments. The girls' hostel and boys' hostel are separate and on campus itself. There is also a canteen that serves breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Faculty: The faculty is qualified, and exams are conducted thoroughly well. The management is doing a great job. The course completion is on time, and the mid-sem exams and the semester exams are conducted on campus only. They follow a strict curriculum. Nevertheless, they do their job well.

The college is fully skilled with good faculty.
Placements: 50 percent of students were placed, and others were placed through off-campus opportunities with knowledge provided by the college. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA, the highest package is 8 LPA, and the average package ranges from 4 to 5 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Hexaware, TCS, etc., visit the campus. Around 50% of students get internships as Business Analysts and Data Analysts.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is very good and pleasant. College is in a peaceful area. Facilities are very good. Wi-Fi is available every where on campus. Classrooms are neat. There is a good library. Hostel food and hostel facilities are very nice. Wi-Fi is available. Overall, hostel is safe and secure.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty are highly experienced and skilled. They share knowledge in a very good manner and are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is useful and helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very hard, and faculty clearly guide students on how to clear exams. The pass percentage is around 70% per semester.
Other: I have many memories from my college life. The atmosphere is very good, and I made many friends. Faculty is very friendly. They teach not only subjects but also ethics and values. I have taken Computer Science and Business Systems course.

Definitely not the best but the best.
Placements: Coming to the college placement drive, the placement aspect is decent. We can expect packages starting from at least 4 LPA, and skills matter, of course, so it depends on the student too. We can be hired by companies like HCL, TCS, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The majority of the students get placed according to their knowledge and skills.
Infrastructure: I love our college infrastructure, that's the best thing I can say about our college compared to the other colleges surrounding us. Hostel life is peaceful as our campus is filled with trees and greenery, providing a lot of fresh air. Regarding the food, students say fresh food is served, so overall good experience only.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, which is more important. Coming to the teaching, we have been taught by amazing and talented faculty. They're all friendly and helpful, never judging, and always guiding us according to the current world trends.
Other: Fests are conducted every year where a lot of guests are invited. It's all fun and joyous.

Hi Siva Sankar,

Vignan Bharathi Institute of Technology (VBIT) fee structure varies based on your IPE and JEE Mains scores. With 950 in IPE and 50 in JEE Mains, you might not qualify for major fee concessions through JEE. However, state quota or merit-based scholarships might reduce your fees.
