It has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: College is strict. As I know, it is a very good college compared to other private colleges. It provides a very good stipend. Through KEA intake of seats is 65, but it is less. Learning here is worth it for dentistry.
Infrastructure: We have a central library. There are old buildings, but still there is quiet and lots of books to study. When it comes to the hostel, the food is better. I'm not saying it's very good, but fine. Medical facilities are also good. The college environment is good, but in the summer, it is very hot.
Faculty: Teaching is good. But self-study is more. Question papers are okay. If we study, we can score more. Many of them got university rankings and distinctions. Teaching facilities are good in some departments and not all. IDA is there, which is very helpful during internships.
Other: Only government scholarships are available. It conducts some extracurricular activities.

Good college with nice facilities and a good hostel.
Placements: There will be no placements. In this field, you will have to do an internship once you complete MBBS 4 years. After internships, you can work as a normal doctor or do other internships in different colleges, or do further studies for MD and MS.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nicely equipped with AC building. It has a nice hostel. We have well-maintained and AC classrooms. The hostel fee is minimal since its a government hostel. It has a minimum fee and comes with a maintenance fee of 1,000-2,000 per month.
Faculty: Faculty members and all are really nice for now. They have completed their MD. It is very good college. Teachers are very nice and experienced with minimum of 10-15 years. Total 4 years in which 4th year is a little bit hard due to clinical subjects. It's nice if you work 1-2 hours a day.

Overall it is a good college.
Placements: There were 150 students in my batch. In 2023, they increased the number of seats by 50, for a total of 200 students. VIMS is a good college to learn at. There are a lot of patients coming to the hospital every day, and you can learn a lot by seeing different types of patients.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, and the library has Wi-Fi. The campus grounds are nice to walk around after dinner, but there are a lot of dogs and snakes on campus. The campus is also a big ground.
Faculty: The teaching is excellent, and the subject matter is very vast. We can learn a little bit by listening in class, but we need to study more and more. Also, for boys, it is easy to go to postings because the departments are near the boys' hostel.
Other: I'm a student at Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) in Bellary. I think it's a good college. They conduct all types of events every year, which makes for a well-rounded education.

College is good for dedicated medical students.
Placements: The college offers professional courses related to the medical field. Courses like MBBS, MD, and BDS. Placements depend on clinical skills. The college has postgraduate seats in many branches. If passed with good clinical exposure, one can do good in life.
Infrastructure: Campus is big enough, but as the college is one of the oldest in the state, the infrastructure is old. But, all basic facilities for medical education are well in place. Labs are averagely equipped. The college has a world-class trauma care center, and a new building is already coming up for the college.
Faculty: The curriculum is strictly based on Competency-Based Medical Education as prescribed by NMC. Clinical postings are well focused on. Faculty is experienced and well-dedicated if students are willing to study. The exam pattern is strict for better assessment.

Dream big with better opportunities to serve.
Placements: Around 200 students are there in our class. Packages depend on the post-graduation branch you will choose in medical. There are no companies. Internships are compulsory to be done in the college where we graduated. Top roles vary from their own perspective.
Infrastructure: Facilities at Ballari Medical College are not very good as we expect something better from top colleges. Even though it is a top college, the patient count is high. The infrastructure is not as good as everyone expected. We have good and feasible classrooms and LED screens. I stay in a locality, but the hostel blocks are new. The mess food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They guide us in a better way and shape us to be fit for this noble profession. Teachers are well-known for their teaching style. The curriculum is related to the timetable for the annual course. It is unannounced before the start of the year. Exams are very difficult because we have a lot of syllabus. There is less time to revise.
Other: Since childhood, I've been very interested in serving people and trying to help as much as I can with my knowledge. Things that should be better in our medical college are to make students much clinical side rather than teaching theory part. Events are also done in all medical colleges. In Karnataka, Rajyosthava Fest is held better.

Everything is excellent here.
Placements: Almost 99% of students will work for sure in this course. However, some students may open their own clinic and practice. No one will be left unemployed and almost 100% of students will get placements. The highest salary offered depends on the stream we choose after MBBS and if we only stick to MBBS, then we get a salary of Rs. 70,000 per month. Companies do not visit the college as students have to work in clinics. The top courses after MBBS are radio, derma, surgery, OBG, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities in the college are good. We have separate buildings for all departments, which is the best thing our college has in the state. Facilities in the hostel are wonderful with 2-sharing rooms. Everything is clean and the mess is attached to the hostel. The food is also delicious and good.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are well-known for their teaching. The teaching quality is very good. Faculty members are very supportive. Here we have final exams at the end of the year. In college, they conduct internals to check the student's ability to pass. University exams are difficult as the portion is much, so students should work hard because this is MBBS. Students are here to save lives remember always.
Other: I chose this course because I like the professions. I wanted to be a good doctor so I am here. The thing to improve in our course is actually to reduce some of the syllabus. The thing is in MBBS, the syllabus is pretty much huge. This course is even very hard to pass. In campus surroundings, everything is good and nature is also okay.
