To avail the quota, the candidate must submit Certificate of entitlement from the state government. The Certificate must be issued in the prescribed format and must be attested by the competent authority. The freedom fighter quota is applicable to all seats in NEET PG including the All India Quota (AIQ) seats. However, the number of seats available under the quota is limited. The number of seats available under the quota is determined by the state government. The freedom fighter quota is a good opportunity for the children and grandchildren of freedom fighters to pursue a career in medicine. The quota provides them with an opportunity to get admission to a medical college without having to compete with the general category candidates. Here are the steps on how to avail the freedom fighter quota in NEET PG in Punjab:
1. Download the application form from the website of the Punjab State Medical Education and Research Society (PMES&RS).

The cutoff marks for MD General Medicine in government colleges vary from year to year and from state to state. In general, the cutoff marks are higher for general category candidates than for reserved category candidates. Here are some of the factors that can affect the cutoff marks for MD General Medicine in government colleges in India:
* The number of seats available: The number of seats available for MD General Medicine in government colleges is limited. This means that the cutoff marks will be high in order to ensure that only the best candidates are admitted. * The performance of the candidates in the NEET PG exam: The NEET PG exam is the most important factor that determines the cutoff marks for MD General Medicine in government colleges. The higher your score in the NEET PG exam, the better your chances of getting admission. * The state in which you are applying: The cutoff marks for MD General Medicine in government colleges vary from state to state. In general, the cutoff marks are higher in states with a large number of qualified candidates. If you are interested in pursuing a career in medicine, I recommend that you start preparing for the NEET PG exam as early as possible. You should also research different colleges and universities that offer MD General Medicine courses. Here are some of the government colleges in India that offer MD General Medicine courses:
* All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi
* Christian Medical College, Vellore
* Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh
* Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi
* Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh
These colleges are all highly competitive, and you will need to score very high in the NEET PG exam to be admitted. If you are not able to get a seat in a government college, you may want to consider taking a gap year and retaking the NEET PG exam. With a higher score, you will be more likely to get a seat in a government college. You may also want to consider applying to private colleges. The cost of tuition at private colleges is higher than at government colleges, but the admission process is less competitive. I hope this information is helpful.
