The college is good for teaching. There are no placements. The infrastructure is not good.
Placements: Placements are not provided because it is a deemed university. Companies visiting the college are local companies like Apollo Pharmacy, local pharmacies, local manufacturing companies, medical representatives and other no big companies come for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not too good but okay. Labs are okay, and the bus facility is not available. The hostel is also not available for boys, and the outside hostel is not good. The food is also very poor in a private hostel outside the college so students can take a house for rent, which is a better option.
Faculty: Teaching is good in college. Industrial visits are not conducted. Semester exams always have difficult questions only. The pass percentage is 50%. There is no evaluation. In exams, if we keep arrears, then we only have to write arrear exams.
Other: Campus life is with friends. There is no sports day and there is no playground in college. There is no scholarship facility because it is a deemed university.

My experience in the Pharma course.
Placements: Students who perform well in exams are placed in the college. Above 90% of students were placed in the course. We can get about 8000 per month as a starting salary after completing the course; then it will increase over time. All students got internships from the course, I got it at Government Medical College, Selam.
Infrastructure: The hostel was not that good, especially the food, and was not that spacious at that time. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen was okay, not that good. There were medical facilities offered by the college. Sports and games were also available in the college.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, they were well-qualified, and very knowledgeable, but were very strict at that time. They have a relevant course curriculum. We had yearly exams, which had some easy and tough subjects. If you try hard, you can easily pass.
Other: I chose this course because of the job opportunities it offers. The best part is we can work as an employee and also as a freelancer. We can build our own business from it. They had events, fests, campus crowds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities.

An M.Sc in mathematics, Vinayaka Missions University, Salem — 2014 to 16ARE VALID The university should have been recognised by the UGC or relevant accrediting bodies during that period. The Vinayaka Missions University is known and you can always slice it individually and look at the current status
