B.E. in Automation and Robotics - Batch of 2026
4.4

I am absolutely satisfied with placements of the automation course.
Placements: I am from the Automation and Robotics branch. We are the first batch for it. To be honest, placements are really good for students who want to pursue their careers in the automation industry. But for students who want to make a career in robotics, it is a bit problematic, as the branch is new. There are not many robotics companies to invite for placements. I can say the same for the internship opportunities. Our students get internships in many big industries like BARC, BPCL, HPCL, etc. It is for automation-related fields only, and there are not many opportunities for robotics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. It has a great campus with a garden in the center and different colleges covering it. The college also has a turf and grounds to play cricket and other sports. The college has 7 floors, where each floor is assigned to a particular department.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive in terms of bringing opportunities for students to grow. They encourage us to build projects and participate in hackathons and other stuff. The course curriculum is up to date with what is required now. Exams are held twice in each semester. There is 1 mid-term exam and one end-semester exam. It does not follow the three exams in each semester rule in Mumbai University, as our college is autonomous.
Other: Our college does not have any flagship event like a DJ, but it organises many events like traditional weeks and celebrations for Ganesh Chaturthi. It also organises technical events where new minds get an opportunity to gain experience from industry experts.

B.E. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027

The best engineering college.
Placements: Around 85% of the students from my batch were successfully placed. The highest package offered is 18 LPA, while the lowest is around 3.5 LPA. The average package stood at approximately 6.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided by the college is commendable. Classrooms are well-maintained with projectors and Wi-Fi access. The labs are equipped with updated systems and all necessary software tools. The library has a wide range of academic books, journals, and digital resources.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, approachable, and supportive. Most of them hold PhDs or are pursuing research in their respective fields. The teaching quality is quite good, with a focus on both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is updated regularly and aligns well with industry standards, especially in terms of programming languages, project work, and real-world problem-solving.
Other: I chose this course because of its strong reputation in the teach industry and the good placement record. One of the best aspects is the flexibility in choosing electives that match your career interests. The college also provides excellent opportunities for project work and encourages participation in hackathons and competitions.

B.E. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2024
3.2
2Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
The college has good infrastructure, average teaching, limited placements, and decent fees.
Placements: I am a 2024 graduate of VESIT, Although this year's placement rate is the lowest - roughly 50-60% of colleges will report higher numbers, which include off-campus employed students, internship students, and those who were later laid off by certain organizations. The lowest package offered by companies is 2.5 LPA with a bond of 2-3 years. The biggest package offered is 13 LPA from ISS but they are displaying statistics of 14 LPA from Dolat Capital, which is untrue, and Forcepoint, Deloitte, EY, and RXO were the top hiring firms. Top roles offered are software developers, associate consultants, and trainees.
Infrastructure: Some improvements are needed in the classroom benches and Wi-Fi coverage in certain areas, while the labs and library are generally good. Additionally, the train concession area requires enhancements to minimize long queues, and it would be beneficial to have at least two staff members present. The quality of the food is average but satisfactory.
Faculty: Regarding the teaching quality, while some teachers are effective, others rely heavily on pre-made PowerPoint presentations and Internet resources. The course curriculum lacks relevance to real-life applications and does not adequately prepare students for the industry, often requiring rote memorization to pass exams with difficulty levels averaging between 80-90%.
Other: Many believed that engineering students from this college would secure placements, given the historically good placement rates, which influenced my decision to pursue this course. However, due to the recession when I graduated, the situation was quite different. Instead of assigning tasks that consume our entire day, the course material and syllabus should be aligned with the job offerings from companies. It would also be advantageous to incorporate a final semester focused on preparing students for their future roles. Unfortunately, events seem to be planned just before exams, which reduces student participation and results in blame being placed on the students, all while the extracurricular activities remain enjoyable. The college lacks industry guidance.

VESI - where dreams die.
Placements: If you're in VESIT, just forget about placements. There is no one who even talks about them not even teachers. Everyone, including faculty, seems to be caught in a rat race.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is just okay. From the outside, it looks decent, but once you step in, the reality hits different. Classrooms feel outdated, like something from the early 2000s, with broken benches making more noise than students. Projectors either don't work or display blurry slides forget about having ACs.
Faculty: Faculty members, curriculum, and exams for our course are straight-up the worst in the country. You notice every day how teachers seem more interested in killing students' motivation than building their futures. They just throw a theory-heavy syllabus at us. Labs are almost non-existent or just about copying from seniors no innovation, no real-world applications. Labs exist only for submissions and assignments, nothing more. There are so-called 'extraordinary' professors are actually responsible for the students' downfall mentally, academically, and skill-wise. Teachers focus more on burdening students with useless extra work, which affects CGPA and leaves many students unplaced forever. Students are stuck in rote learning, so they are neither strong in academics nor equipped with practical skills. There's no fun just a life filled with stress and decline overall.
Other: Please don't take admission in this college. My three years of experience suggest that you should go to any other college with no attendance criteria, excel there, participate in hackathons, learn skills daily, and go for off-campus placements. Life will be set.

So I’m satisfied with the college, and we are having good placements every year.
Placements: So basically, our branch has the most placements on campus. Our total placement is 59 out of 65 in the last year, and now there are companies visiting like Capgemini, Johnson, and many other companies. We have the most internships on campus, internships in RCF and other companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice. Also, I have never stayed in the hostel, but my friends have, and they say the hostels are the best, and the warden is also the best. The environment around the hostel is also the best. Classrooms are also quite nice, and the facilities are the best. So overall, it is 8 out of 10.
Faculty: So, our batch was the best batch, and we have the best faculty. The exams were tough, and the cultural activities are the best. Many co-curricular activities are there, and many opportunities are there if you participate in events and activities.
Other: So, our batch was the best batch, and we have the best faculty. The exams were tough, and the cultural activities are the best. The overall college is 8 out of 10.

Helpful but not knowledgeable faculty, good placements for CS-related branches, good infrastructure
Placements: My batch electronics and computer science is our first batch. It was started in 2022, so ours will be the first one for placements next year. The ETRX branch which was previously named, in that batch 4 students have been placed out of 60, so almost 7%. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte and TCS. Around 30% of students got internships at companies like Berkeley, Cognizant, etc. Top roles offered are analyst and consultant.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and air conditioners are not present in classrooms. Our labs are equipped with air conditioners but there is no Wi-Fi. The library has very poor-quality of Wi-Fi. We have decent infrastructure and air conditioners. The quality of facilities available in the hostel is decent as they are partnered with stanza living. The mess and canteen quality is good. Medical facilities are available on demand. There is a turf for football and a ground for cricket and other events.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful but not qualified and knowledgeable. Only a few are good at teaching. The teaching quality is poor. The course curriculum is very relevant. As the college is autonomous, it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are also very easy due to the college being autonomous. The passing percentage is 95% as each semester almost 1-2 students drop out from a batch of 60.
Other: My batch is ECS for the year 2022-2026. I chose this course because I like both hardware and software. The best thing is that ECS remains one of the best branches for doing a masters. I hope that our faculty can be improved. Events and fests are mostly organised by students. The campus crowd attends events and fests. It is decent. The connectivity is bad from the railway station. The campus is good but short in size. Although everything is well-maintained including bathrooms. Various scholarships are given to students with more than 7 CGPA.
