The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Mains candidate response sheet on the official website under the respective logins of the candidates. The response sheets will have the record of the answers marked by the candidates on the exam day. The purpose of the JEE Main response sheet 2026 is to help candidates calculate their scores.

JEE Main Response Sheet 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Mains candidate response sheet on the official website under the respective logins of the candidates. The purpose of the JEE Main response sheet 2026 is to help candidates calculate their scores in the exam by comparing the response sheet with the JEE Main answer keys.

Candidates have to use their application number and date of birth/password at the JEE Mains login for the response sheet JEE Mains 2026 download. Along with NTA response sheet session 1, JEE Main question paper pdf is also released.

How to Calculate Score Using JEE Main Response Sheet?

Candidates can calculate their score in JEE Main exam using JEE Main answer key and response sheet.

  • Download JEE Main response sheet and answer key
  • Check NTA answer and match with the answer marked by you
  • For every correct answer, give four marks
  • Deduct one mark for every incorrect answer
  • Add total marks of correct questions and subtract the total of incorrect answer.

NTA releases JEE Main session 1 answer key 2026 on the official website. Candidates can download the answer key by login to the website using their application number and password. The facility to challenge the JEE answer key 2026 is also made available.

Q:   What is CRL in JEE Main result?

CRL stands for the Common Rank List. NTA releases the cutoff in several categories one of which is CRL. Basically, CRL means unreserved category. Candidates belonging to unreserved category need to have JEE Main cutoff equal to or more than the CRL cutoff. The other categories for which cutoff is released are Gen-EWS, Open-PwD, OBC-NCL, SC and ST.
Q:   Are JEE Main result and JEE Main score card different?

JEE Main result and scorecard are the same thing. After login to the website for checking their JEE Main result, students will SEE their scorecards with details of the percentile scores secured by them in each subject, aggregate percentile score, All India Rank and cutoff. Candidates need to download and take its printout. JEE Main result/scorecard is an important document and is required for counselling and admission process.
Q:   When will JEE Mains 2026 Result be declared?

The NTA will announce JEE Main Result 2026 around 10 days after the conclusion of the exam. Candidates can download the JEE Main result 2026 scorecard online. JEE Main result login link 2026 will be available on the wesbite jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2026 result scorecard will have details of candidate percentile score in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and the aggreate percentile score. JEE Mains 2026 result will be released separately for both sessions.

Candidates can check JoSAA seat allotment result on the official JoSAA website. Candidates will have to log in to their JoSAA account using JEE Main application number and password.

Candidates will be able to check these details on the JEE Main scorecard:

JEE Main Application Number, JEE Main Roll Number, Name & Date of Birth, Qualifying Status, All India Rank secured by a candidate in the exam, category-wise All India Rank (AIR) of the Candidate, Subject-wise scores, aggregate score in all three subjects of both sessions. You can download your Joint Entrance Examination-Main Result from the official website. The official website is jeemain.nta.nic.in. Note that, there is no provision to re-evaluate/re-check JEE Main result.

Yes, you can get admission in School Of Food Technology JNTU, Kakinada without JEE Main scores. The college accepts students through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET scores followed by counselling mainly. Hence, JEE Main is not mandatory for admission.

No, Vedam School of Technology does not accept JEE Mains. The institute admits students solely on Vedam Scholastic Aptitude test (VSAT) scores. No other exams are accepted by the institute for admissions to its BTech programme.

Yes, you can join the UnitedWorld Institute Of Technology BTech course without JEE Main scores. The institute accepts both JEE Mains and GUJCET scores for admission to the BTech course. You however, must submit either of the ones.

No, JEE Main is not mandatory for UPES Dehradun BTech admission. While the university accepts the scores of the exam, it is not the only accepted exam. Students can also submit scores of UPESEAT/ SAT India/ CUET exams for BTech admission.
