B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027

Overall, a good college with learning opportunities and placements.
Placements: B.Tech with electronics and communication engineering, graduated in 2027. 50-60% of students from our college were placed through campus placements. Average package 4-5 LPA based on skill. Deloitte, Cognizant, and Stone companies visit our college.
Infrastructure: The electronics and communication engineering department has well-maintained laboratories with sufficient systems and updated software/tools relevant to the course. Classrooms are spacious and clean. Mess and canteen facilities provide hygienic food. The college provides basic medical facilities, including first aid. The college provides indoor games (carrom, chess, table tennis) and outdoor sports (volleyball, badminton, basketball).
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They are approachable and supportive, especially during examinations, projects, and practical sessions. Students who attend classes regularly find exams are not difficult for them. The pass percentage is around 75%.
Other: I opted for this course because strong foundation in core subjects. They should provide practical exposure through labs and mini/major projects. There should be increased focus on hands-on learning and skill-based courses. The college organises technical events, workshops, and seminars, which help students gain exposure beyond academics.

The infrastructure is good, but the faculty needs to improve its teaching skills.
Placements: 50 percent of students are placed in EEE. The highest package is 17 LPA and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Recruiting companies are Schneider, Texas, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Amazon, Deloitte, Cognizant, and so on. 50 percent of students got internships in Schneider, Medha Servo Drives. The offered roles are JE.
Infrastructure: Good library and facilities, they allow students up to 8:00 PM, from 8:00 AM, which is useful for the students who are preparing for the competitive exams. Each branch has a separate library and 1 common library for all branches. The college is NAAC-accredited.
Faculty: Few teachers are low at teaching. But good at knowledge, fewer are the bad at expressing, and the way of behaviour with the students. The curriculum is useful to the students who fulfill the industry requirements. The exams are of moderate toughness. If students regularly attend the class, they will get good marks.
Other: The electrical course is a core branch that rules the future.

Good peers and facilities, but limited campus life.
Placements: About 70% of the students get campus placement. The highest package is about 19.18 LPA, the lowest is 3.36 LPA, and the average is 6-9 LPA. The top recruiting companies are JPMC, Infosys, and TCS. Only about 30% get Internships. The roles offered are software engineer, Data engineer/ Analyst.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi works only within blocks. Coming to the computer labs, the specs of some systems are too poor. The library has to be the best thing, it has lots of resources, Wi-Fi, and charging ports, well maintained. Classrooms are digital and have charging ports for each bench ( only for CSE/allied Block ). The boys' hostel at Pragati Nagar has better food, gym, and medical facilities than bachupally hostel. Pragati Nagar hostel has great free space, ground, and stationery.
Faculty: The teaching quality is better than I expected. Most of them are well qualified. This course is kept relevant with frequent changes to the curriculum. We have additional training programs to keep students industry-ready. The semester exams are easy, with more than 90% gets passed.

Overall, a good college for learning and career growth.
Placements: Around 60% of the students are placed through campus drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Accenture recruited students. The highest package is 7 LPA, the average is 3.5 to 4 LPA, and many students also received internships. The college focuses on placements and internships from the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: College has well-maintained classrooms with good Wi-Fi support, properly equipped labs, and a decently maintained library. Hostel facilities are satisfactory, with clean rooms and average food quality. Sports, medical facilities, and canteen are adequate.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant and covers both theoretical and practical aspects. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage is good for regular and well-prepared students.
Other: I chose this course for its balanced focus on academics and career opportunities. Campus has good connectivity, regular technical and cultural events, and a diverse crowd.
