B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2028

The overview of my college.
Placements: Placements are good in my college, and the companies will come and get placed in many companies, and make their life happier. I am also studying. But to get placed, we should focus more on the CGPA and the skills. The average package is 10 LPA, and the highest is 93 LPA CTC, and the lowest is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is good, and there is more construction going on, and there has been development in the infrastructure. The hostel is also good in terms of infrastructure, but it is somewhat costly. There should be more technical infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty is good, and plenty of faculty are there to teach, and the curriculum is better than usual. It was useful, and there are training sessions that help with placements, and the exams are well-scheduled. I think the internal exams are not that difficult, and the external exams are moderate.
Other: I am an IT student, but I wanted to get CSE. As per my rank, I got the seat in the IT. Even though it is also related to CSE. I think the management should focus and treat us as the same CSE. There are so many tests held, but they are all paid for.

Personnel review of my college.
Placements: Most placement opportunities are available in the software domain only, but there are not that many good opportunities in the hardware domain. For the software domain, it is the best college in Telangana. In the 2025 placement season, the highest package offered is 54 LPA, and the average package offered is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good. It is full of greenery. There is very strong Wi-Fi across the college. It has department-specific laboratories and a large central laboratory. Our college offers a well-equipped canteen, gym, sports complex, medical center, and hostel accommodation.
Faculty: The course curriculum and exams are good. There is a lot of time to prepare between exams. Curriculum-wise, we cover all things related to the department. Some faculty members are good, but not up to mark as an IIT college. Some teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great environment, great people and lots of memories are made here.
Placements: Placements in our course are, honestly, quite satisfying. Most of my friends got placed, probably around 85 to 90 percent and a few chose higher studies. The packages vary depending on performance, but top companies like Microsoft, ServiceNow, and Amazon gave great offers, while other companies offered solid starting roles too. The average package is around 6 to 7 LPA, which is decent for a fresher. We had regular training sessions for aptitude, coding, communication and mock interviews that really boosted confidence.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at VNR gave a comfortable learning experience. Our department had good classrooms, clean space and systems in labs that worked fine for most of the projects. The library is honestly one of the best places because of how peaceful it is during exam time. Hostel rooms are decent, security is strict, and the environment is clean. Mess food is okay, some days tasty, some days average, but hygiene is maintained. Overall, nothing too fancy but definitely reliable and well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive for the most part. There are a few excellent teachers who make classes interesting and guide students wherever needed. The curriculum covers topics where the industry experts, especially if you aim for software roles, but you need to keep learning extra skills on your own. Semester exams are not too hard, as long as you follow the lectures and prepare at the right time, you can pass comfortably. Overall, the academics here felt balanced.
Other: The campus atmosphere is friendly and positive with active clubs, fests and workshops that make life more than just classes. Events like technical exposure and cultural festivals really bring out student talent. So I feel happy with the experience overall.

Nice college experience with good exposure and helpful teachers.
Placements: Placements in our batch are quite good. 85 to 90 percent of students got placed. A few went for higher studies. The highest package is about 40 to 50 LPA, the average is around 7 to 8 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, and ServiceNow visited the campus. Around 60 percent of students got internships from similar companies. The placement helped a lot with coding and aptitude and overall felt genuine and helpful for students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in VNRVJIET is good and students friendly. Classrooms are clean, Wi-Fi works well, and labs are updated and maintained properly. The library is one of the best places with enough books, systems, and a peaceful study space. Hostel facilities are clean, with regular water, and strict security. Mess food is okay, some days good, some days average, but always hygienic. The canteen offers a better variety. Sports facilities include good courts and indoor games, and medical support is also available on campus whenever needed.
Faculty: The faculty in our department are generally helpful and knowledgeable. Some teachers explained topics really well, making them approachable whenever we have doubts, while a few are average, like in any college. The curriculum is mostly relevant and covers important subjects needed for the industry, especially for coding and technical roles, but you still need to put in extra effort through online courses and projects. The pass percent is also quite good, and most students clear the subjects without issues. Overall, the teaching and exam pattern felt manageable and supportive.
Other: I chose this course because it matched my interests and offered good placement opportunities. The best part is the exposure through projects and fests. The campus crowd is friendly and events are lively. I just wish there are more focus on practical learning and fewer theory heavy subjects.

Come explore VNRVJIET College.
Placements: Still, we are in 4-1 but around 90/180 have already been placed in my course. The highest package is 20.5 LPA, and the lowest is 3.75 LPA. JPMC, Oracle, Chubb, Darwinbox, Planon, Hadford, Adtran, F5 Networks, Zenoti, and De Shaw recruit. 50 percent of students got internships. SDE and SWE are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, buildings, and labs are excellent. As they provide different blocks for different branch students it is not clumsy at all. A sports club and a separate block for sports are available. Mess is available for hostelers and the canteen is available for everyone. Food quality is good.
Faculty: I chose this college because it aligned with my career goals. More practical exams than theoretical exams could be better. Events and fests are once a year and a scholarship is offered to students who pass an EAMCET rank below 10000.

Good college with supportive faculty, good placements, and excellent infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are quite good, with nearly 75-80 percent of students getting placed every year. The highest package reached 12 LPA, and the average stayed around 5 LPA. Major recruiters include Infosys, TCS, and Accenture. The roles offered are Software Engineer and Analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and well-maintained. Hostel facilities are also neat and comfortable, with 24/7 Wi-Fi, hygienic food in the mess, and proper security. Sports and medical facilities are also available on the campus. Labs are equipped with modern systems and high-speed internet. The library has a wide range of books and provides a peaceful study environment.
Faculty: Our faculty members are highly qualified, supportive, and always ready to clarify doubts. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and regular internal tests help us stay prepared. The pass percentage is quite high as the college provides enough guidance and study materials before exams.
Other: Campus life is active and friendly with students from different backgrounds. Cultural events, technical fests, and sports meets are organized regularly, giving everyone good exposure and enjoyment. The crowd is supportive, and the environment is positive for learning and making friends. Extracurricular clubs and activities keep students engaged throughout the year.

Very good college to showcase your talent.
Placements: We are currently in the 2nd batch. We will pass out by 2027. The average package is nearly 6-7 LPA. Many companies visit our college nearly 250 plus companies. They offer many different roles. There are many opportunities to grab in this college. JMPC hires students from our college for internships.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure. I like the infrastructure of the MBA campus than the B.Tech campus. The B.Tech campus has good infrastructure. Labs are good. Each student is provided with one computer. In labs, there will be no Wi-Fi issues as they are connected with LAN cables. But on campus, we will not find college Wi-Fi.
Faculty: All faculty are very well experienced. They help us not only with technical things but also with personal and cultural things. Each semester has two mid-term examinations. The difficulty is medium. Yearly two fests will be conducted in college. One is technical and one is cultural. Each fest will be 2-3 days in duration.
Other: Scintillations is a cultural fest conducted during March of every year. It is good and enjoyable. Stars will be invited and they showcase their respective talents. I am very interested in coding, so I chose this course. I chose this college as it has more placement opportunities than other colleges.

Review of VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: My name is kotesh nayak. I'm from batch 2023-2027. The placement in VNR Vignana College is really good. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, TCS, Infosys, etc. Almost 80% of seniors got placed in our college. JPMC is the top recruiter, followed by Deloitte and Google. Placements start in the 2nd year, 2nd semester. Almost all students are placed got placed in our college. As long as you follow their curriculum strictly, you are sure to receive placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has more than one canteen. The food served in the canteen is hygienic and affordable. Food is regularly delivered every week and made fresh every day. The key lies in selecting the most popular dishes and relying on them. Fries are to die for.
Faculty: Our college has supportive faculty. They are knowledgeable. As long as you get used to the working style of the respective teachers, you will feel that it is for the best of you. This course makes the students industry-ready, with courses like business communication.
