Decent academy support with a good campus, but needs more practical exposure.

Placements: Around 60%-70% of students from the B.E. Civil course got placed. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA, the lowest is around 2 LPA, and the average is about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include NGOs, media houses, and educational firms. Around 50% of students got internships in companies like Tech for India, Times Group, and local startups. Common roles include content writers, research assistants, and HR trainees.

Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities for our department, including smart classrooms, fast Wi-Fi, and well-equipped computer labs. The library is quiet and stocked with useful study material. Hostels are clean and have basic amenities. The food in the mess is average, while the canteen offers a better variety. Medical help is available on campus with a health center. Sports facilities, such as a playground and indoor games, are provided to encourage student recreation. Overall, the infrastructure is decent and supports both academics and student life well.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality is good, with practical examples and regular doubt-solving sessions. The course curriculum is up-to-date and industry-relevant, which helps in preparing students for real-world challenges. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is decent, with most students clearing their exams on time.

Other: I chose the B.E. Civil Engineering course for its broad subject options and scope for learning. The best part is the supportive faculty and flexible curriculum. I wish there were more practical activities. The campus crowd is friendly, events are lively, and the college is well-connected. Scholarships are also available.

Well qualified faculty members and encouraging.

Placements: 90% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Tata Projects, and NCC Limited. Top roles offered are site engineer, project manager, and structural engineer. 65% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Our college has provided facilities and infrastructure. Everyone can use the internet. It has a huge central library. Classrooms are good, clean, and hygienic. The labs are good. Hostel facilities for both girls and boys are good, and the food served is good. The canteen is also available.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained and well-educated. Faculty members here are well-disciplined. Faculty members in our college are friendly. They clarify our doubts. The curriculum is relevant to the subject. Semester exams are easy to pass, and 70% is passing percentage.

The engineering college with good infrastructure and average facilities

Placements: The placement is not good. 4 years ago, MNCs were eagerly coming to this college and recruited students. But our college takes steps to place the students. It is not easy because of lots of fake consultancies which provide call letters. But it is worthless when we go to the organisation.

Infrastructure: A green campus with a good infrastructure and average lab facilities. The ground and sports facilities are also average when compared to other colleges near Karur. It has a tobacco-free zone inside and a large number of students come to the college.

Faculty: Some of the faculty members are having a good knowledge and excellent teaching ability with a high experience. But some of them are so lazy and they do not even appreciate their students. Most of the college faculty members have M.E qualification. Mostly, they prefer local author books.

Other: This college is not suitable for those who are interested in sports and extracurricular activities. The college and college faculty members help to pass in their subjects and to get a degree without no arrears. But we can only improve our knowledge by ourselves.

Worst college in whole universe!!

Placements: Not good enough. They are having only BPOs more than course related companies. They only give importance to electrical branches. Not even respecting and guiding non-electrical branches. Even placement is done only for ECE, CSE, EEE students.

Infrastructure: Not good enough in the new institution in Coimbatore. Poor construction. As a civil engineer, I saw many faults in construction. No lab facilities. No proper machinery for lab works. Lab assistance is not there. No Wi-Fi. No medical facilities. Sports and games are considered as a crime. Food quality is not good both in hostel and canteen. No proper canteen is there. Facilities like lab are not there.

Faculty: Faculty wise some are good, some are totally waste. The course curriculum of Anna University is updated after our batch. Many faculty members are treating students poorly. They speak to us in cheap languages. No knowledge and not even qualified. The teaching method is worst. Students to faculty ratio is too low, for an example, in civil engineering department, there are around 8 faculty members for all 180 students.

Other: Can't study as practical oriented. Not even allowing to get out of the classroom for doing final projects. Treating students as school students. Not allowing to use the library for project works and not allowing us to be outside of classroom other than interval time. No laptops and cell phone are allowed in hostels. Even for project works. Treating hostel students poorly.

Other: Discipline wise it is a very good college, education wise it is not bad, the faculty members are very good and knowledgeable. The placement training provided is excellent. They encourage all types of activities like sports, cultural and other types of extra-curricular activities.
