It is a quite good college to enrol yourself and become a good engineer.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed in 2019. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies which visited here for placements are TCS, Infosys, Microsoft, Cadd Centre, Tata, Tech Mahindra, etc. The top role offered to the students is up to HR level. Almost 50% of the students got an internship in many companies.

Infrastructure: Common Wi-Fi is provided in our college, but some websites are blocked. Laboratories are good and sufficient, and classrooms adequate for students. The library has many books. The hostel is quite costly, but the facilities are good. They will provide separate Wi-Fi for our laptops after registration.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-educated, very helpful and qualified. They also have more knowledge of the course curriculum. Quality of teaching is good, and it is adequate. The course curriculum is quite sufficient to withstand in the field of their core.

Other: I have chosen this college because it is good, and also it is near to our town.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Students got internships in their field of interest with the help of our placement coordinator. A lot of pre-placement offers were provided. Paid internships were also provided by our placement coordinator.

Infrastructure: The campus atmosphere and infrastructure are good. The campus has a lot of greenery. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Food provided for hostelers day scholars is good. A huge parking facility is available. There are separate parking facilities for students and faculty members. Buses are available and are cleaned daily. Separate workshops are available.

Faculty: Students and faculty members have a friendly relationship. The college has good and experienced staff and lab technicians. They are helpful and friendly including the chairman, secretary and HOD. We have wonderful labs and well-trained staff to handle the students.

It is good to choose this college when you are in Coimbatore. Otherwise it is average.

Placements: I say that the placements are good for engineering branches like CSE, ECE and information technology. Only a few companies are coming in the stream of civil engineering, according to the academic year 2016 & 2017. There is a placement cell inside the campus with experienced staffs, and our aptitude knowledge gets developed along with technical knowledge. Infrastructure is awesome. Almost, 85% of the students registered for the placements and got placed in reputed companies.

Infrastructure: SIET infrastructure is awesome with green atmosphere. Hostel is good, and mess food is average during my course time. One of the different things in the college is there is hut facility where you can feel the pleasant environment around the hut. Canteen food is good. Cricket pavilion, tennis court, football, badminton, volleyball, basketball, and handball court are cleanly maintained and trained by well-experienced sports staffs.

Faculty: The faculty members are frequently tested by the management to know about the technical knowledge of the faculty members and to ensure that whether the students are completely gaining the knowledge or not. The college timings are from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, and on some days, it will be up to 5.30 pm. The additional one hour is meant for counselling. Additionally, software classes are conducted.

Other: Many scholarship schemes are available like caste-based scholarships, marks-based scholarships, economy-based scholarships, sports-based scholarships, etc. In addition to that, prize money will be starting from Rs. 10,000 will be rewarded for the members, who are good in studies and sports.

You will regret after joining this college as we all did.

Placements: The placement was not good for civil and mechanical engineering, and for the rest of the departments, it was good. The highest salary package is 12 LPA, the average is 2.5 LPA, and the lowest is 2.3 LPA. The students mostly arrange the internship on their own. We have a placement cell, and it is useful.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are good. For sports, there are many facilities in this college having various records in various events. Food quality and taste are average. The hostel rooms are simple, and not much impressive, but the campus will be good. The college have a pleasant environment.

Faculty: The faculty members are friendly in our department, especially civil department. They are helpful and supportive in every situation. They are talented in every field as what every help we ask they are ready to do it for us. They are supportive of the curriculum.

Other: The only plus point of this college is the campus, and the rest all are worst.

Review of Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology - SIET Coimbatore.

Placements: Around 87% of the students got placed during my tenure, and the salary package offered was really good. The department also provides plenty of internships along with decent stipends. Our college also provides application-based classes along with lots of software-based classes. It is a good place to pursue a civil course.

Infrastructure: Our entire campus is furnished with a high-speed Wi-Fi facility. The hostel provides good and hygienic food and great snacks. Sports facilities on the campus were good and gave us a great opportunity. Medical facilities are also appreciable during all the years of the course.

Faculty: There are well-certified faculty members with good knowledge about the core subject and are experienced. Faculty members provide industry-based training during the subjects, which is more helpful during the entire academic session.
