B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2024
4.4
Great environment, huge campus, and well-experienced professors.
Placements: This is the best branch for engineering because it is available in both software and hardware. Most students are placed. Our highest package is INR 5 or 6 LPA. Most of the companies recruit from our branch because this is available in both domains.
Infrastructure: All of the labs are extremely well equipped. On our campus, there is a huge library where we can get books at any time. A Wi-Fi facility is also included in the department. All the classrooms are equipped with good furniture, good equipment, and projectors.
Faculty: All the professors are always helpful to all the students, and they are friendly to us. So this is the most important thing for us. And they are always available for us. No, there is nothing difficult in our exam because our professors are preparing us well before the exams.

Review of VVP Engineering College.
Placements: The package offered was around INR 4 to 6 LPA last year. Companies like Matrix are placing people and offering good packages. We need at least 7 to 8 people to sit in on any interview. Our college makes sure that you get a job at any company. This is the best thing I can say to get into this college.
Infrastructure: Our college has good and old infrastructure. It is always clean and maintains a good environment. The quality of food in our college is also good, with quite healthy dishes served by the canteen workers. Eating in the canteen doesn't make me sick.
Faculty: For faculty, I can say they are all Masters in their subjects. They always pay attention to students. If the batch performance is not good, they make an extra batch and make sure the performance will increase. To get good marks, they actually pay good attention.
Other: In my course, I had so many career options to choose from. I wish there were seating arrangements in our canteen.

The college is well facilitated and has highly-educated faculty.
Placements: More than 90% of students with good academics and communication skills got placed in our college. The college provides good knowledge and produces good engineers. The highest package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Microsoft, BYJU's, and Matrix. Due to covid, many students did online internships. In VVP Engineering College, ECE is the best course.
Infrastructure: All the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are available for students. The library has updated books. The canteen and medical facilities are good. But the negative point about college is that they are very strict about the curriculum. Students who want to have fun in college are not suggested to join here.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and have sufficient experience. The course curriculum is very much relevant because it provides many other courses at the same time to enhance our drafting skills and also our communications skills for survival.

It is a very good college for overall development.
Placements: Top roles offered to the students are app developer, business development executive, network engineers and many other technical and sales-related roles. Top recruiting companies are TCS, TatvaSoft, eInfochips, Perfect VIPs, etc. About 10-15% of the students got internships during college. About 80-85% of the students got placements from our batch.
Infrastructure: The equipment available in the laboratory was perfectly working and in enough quantity for students to perform experiments. The food in the canteen is healthy and delicious. Classrooms are spacious. The infrastructure of our college is amazing.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and work hand-in-hand with students. They are ready to explain concepts even after college hours. The curriculum is relevant as it includes recent technological exposure. The curriculum makes students industry-ready. The passing percentage is 35% or above. Semester exams are quite tough to clear.
Other: VVP is the best college for extracurricular activities and fests. It provides ample opportunities to learn outside of books.

It is a good college around the Rajkot area.
Placements: Below 50% of the students get placed from college. Most of the time, the only option is you could switch to IT jobs. There are many opportunities in ECE too but compared to IT, chances are less. Salary packages offered are ranging around 2.5 LPA to 7 LPA. But there are rare chances that you would get above 4 on campus.
Infrastructure: The canteen and daily food options were also available. Food quality was not excellent, but it was definitely above average at very reasonable rates. College didn't have an in-house hostel yet, but management was planning to build one. Labs were good and up to with most of the equipment available. But don't expect good quality Wi-Fi.
Faculty: College was under GTU, and subjects were outdated. But from the previous year, GTU has revised the syllabus in 2019 maybe so it's better now. Faculty members were always ready for your help even after regular college hours. Now, they're teaching Python, web development, and Internet of things as part of the syllabus which was good considering the current market because previously EC students couldn't get IT jobs in spite of having an interest in the same.
Other: Tech fest is held on a large scale because only students are managing it from end to end. So you will learn many things during tech fests. The best part of your college life would definitely be involved in the tech fest and having fun in managing as well as arranging events.

Overall, it is a good college in its own way.
Placements: Average salary packages are offered here. Some placement drives are conducted with nice salary packages, but compared to the number and promises made before admission, placements are in an average situation. The support provided is nice during placement drives, and it is overall a nice phase. But mostly, you have to do everything on your own. There are very less opportunities in the core field.
Infrastructure: Labs were old and not at all modern here. The infrastructure was also average, but the library was good. Classrooms were decent but not really good and also not bad. There was no hostel, so students had to arrange accommodation outside. The daily commute depends on you. The canteen is average.
Faculty: Some teachers were really good, and some were really bad. Overall, every teacher was helpful and friendly. Some rules were unnecessary and stressful. Sometimes it is good to be a student here, and sometimes it will be horrible. They don't provide much industry-oriented teaching, and most of the teaching is results-oriented.

VVP Engineering College is the best college for engineering.
Placements: In our college, around 60% of the students are placed on campus. The highest salary package offered in our department is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top roles offered are software tester, development, android, VLSI, etc.
Infrastructure: In the electronics and communication department, faculty members are very polite and humble. They are always helpful if you need them. Infrastructure is also very good, and Wi-Fi facilities are available in the library. In VVP Engineering college there is no hostel facility but if you are out of town so you can stay in the lounge boys hostel near KKV Circle. In the lounge boys hostel, there are many facilities like unlimited Wi-Fi, a TV room, dining hall, laundry facilities, and parking facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students in our college. Knowledge and teaching quality are very good. For placement purposes exams like aptitude tests, reasoning tests, technical tests, etc, are held. It is easy to crack the semester exams, and my last semester CGPA is 8.68.

The college is good with very comfortable classrooms and good placements and faculty.
Placements: Placements are going well for our batch and our seniors batch at VVP College. Companies that visited our college offered salary packages starting from 1 LPA to around 3 or 4 LPA. In my senior batch, 80% of students were placed in big companies like Einfochip, Matrix, Byju's, and Soft tonics, etc. Companies like Matrix, Einfochip, Perfect VIP and other local companies were also involved in the placement drives.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the campus. Classrooms are very large and comfortable to study for students. The library is large, and all the technical and even non-technical books are available. Medical facilities are provided, and all sports and games like cricket, football, chess, outdoor and indoor games are played in college. Food in the canteen is healthy and good. There is no hostel available. If you face any infrastructure related issues during your tenure at the college, approach staff of maintenance department and they will clear the problems in a few days.
Faculty: The faculty members were very knowledgeable and helpful in each of the subjects. They are also PhD holders. Their teaching methods are very good and easy to understand. They teach using the current examples and clear all our doubts. They also inform us about other topics that are not related to studies.
