XLRI is accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), AMBA, and NBA (National Board of Accreditation) and is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), AIU, and GOI. XLRI Jamshedpur is ranked 9 for MBA in the NIRF 2023 rankings and was established as a private college in 1949. Being a private college, the fee can be a little high but the students can apply for scholarships provided by the XLRI-Xavier School of Management. Hence, even if the students find XLRI Jamshedpur a little expensive, they don't have to worry as scholarships are there to assist them.

XLRI - Xavier School of Management provides various postgraduate and other courses to students across Business Management and various other streams. These postgraduate courses are provided through its two schools of study, namely the School of Resources and IR and the School of Business. The college is known to accept various entrance exam scores like XAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, and XAT. Xavier School of Management cut off for XAT has been released as a selection criteria to appear for the PI round. As per the official cutoff data released by XLRI, the overall sectional XAT cut off 2025 for Male engineers is 96 percentile for Business Management (BM) programme and 95 percentile for Human Resource Management (HRM) programme. The XAT 2025 cut offs for Female engineers is 91 percentile for BM programme and 90 percentile for HRM programme. 

So basis the recently released sectional XAT cutoff 2025, it is difficult to get into XLRI with 90 percentile for General AI category students. 

XLRI offers a full-time EPGDM (General) programme for experienced executives. The duration of this course is one year and three months. XLRI Jamshedpur Ex-PGDM admission is based on candidates' performance in XAT/ GMAT entrance exams, followed by a PI round. Approved by AICTE, this course incorporates three months of field-based training in a functional area. 

Yes, XLRI Jamshedpur accepts XAT scores for admission to PGDM programmes. Candidates can also apply with a valid socre in GMAT/ GRE for PGDM GM programme. Those who score equal or above XAT cutoff is selected for further rounds. Selected candidates are further called for group discussion and/ or personal interview. 

Candidates should have passed MBA/ PGDM or equivalent or GMP/ PGPX or one year full-time residential programme in Management with at least 60% marks to apply for FPM programme at XLRI Jamshedpur. Additionally, candidates must also be employed in a full-time job. Aspirants should also have at least 5 years of full-time executive/ managerial/ teaching/ research experience.
