Fellowship Programme in Human Resource Management

Xavier School of Management Jamshedpur fees for Ex-FPM course is INR 11.3 lakh. For a detailed fee structure of the course, candidates are advised to contact the admission department of XLRI. 

Candidates with BE / BTech degree or its equivalent with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) obtained after completing higher secondary education, Class 12 or equivalent, followed by at least 2 years of relevant work experience are eligible to apply for XLRI FPM course. Admission to the FPM course is based on valid XAT/UGC-JRF/NET/GMAT/GRE/GATE scores.

Candidates are also required to pass Class 12 or any equivalent examinations. Two years of relevant work experience is also compulsory for admission to the FPM course at XLRI.  

Apart from a full-time residential FPM course, XLRI also offers an Executive Fellow Programme in Management (Ex-FPM), a non-residential doctoral course. The course duration of both FPM and Ex-FPM is four years. XLRI admission to both these courses is based on valid XAT/UGC-JRF/NET/GMAT/GRE/GATE scores.

Yes, the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) offered at XLRI Jamshedpur is recognised as equivalent to the PhD course of an Indian University by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is a full-time, residential doctoral course offering studies in different fields of management and functional areas. XLRI FPM admission is completely entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in several national-level entrance exams. 

XLRI is accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), AMBA, and NBA (National Board of Accreditation) and is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), AIU, and GOI. XLRI Jamshedpur is ranked 9 for MBA in the NIRF 2023 rankings and was established as a private college in 1949. Being a private college, the fee can be a little high but the students can apply for scholarships provided by the XLRI-Xavier School of Management. XLRI - Xavier School of Management provides various postgraduate and other courses to students across Business Management and various other streams. These postgraduate courses are provided through its two schools of study, namely the School of Resources and IR and the School of Business. The college is known to accept various entrance exam scores like XAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, and XAT. These competitive exams are difficult to pass so check the XAT Exam Pattern 2024, GMAT Syllabus 2023, and GRE Question Papers 2023 beforehand for a sucessful admission to various courses offered at this college. XLRI offers a full-time EPGDM (General) programme for experienced executives. The duration of this course is one year and three months. XLRI Jamshedpur Ex-PGDM admission is based on candidates' performance in XAT/ GMAT entrance exams, followed by a PI round. Approved by AICTE, this course incorporates three months of field-based training in a functional area. 

According to the latest report 2026, PGDM students accepted 576 domestic offers and 2 international offers in 2026. The placement percentage data is not released as of now. Earlier, during the placement drive 2024, 100% PGDM BM and HRM students were placed. 

For PGDM GM, 98% students were placed during the placement drive 2025.

Xavier School of Management cut off for XAT has been released as a selection criteria to appear for the PI round. As per the official cutoff data released by XLRI, the overall sectional XAT cut off 2025 for Male engineers is 96 percentile for Business Management (BM) programme and 95 percentile for Human Resource Management (HRM) programme. The XAT 2025 cut offs for Female engineers is 91 percentile for BM programme and 90 percentile for HRM programme. 

So basis the recently released sectional XAT cutoff 2025, it is difficult to get into XLRI with 90 percentile for General AI category students.
