Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology MSc Courses & Fees 2025: Admission, Application & Selection Process

Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET) MSc admissions will open soon for the academic year 2025. Candidates must complete the entire admission process, including the application process, selection process, test, counselling, and accepting the offer letter. However, before beginning the admission candidates must have a valid MSc qualification. Find below the step-wise admission process at ZHCET :

STEP 1: ZHCET MSc Application Process 2025

Candidates with a valid qualification can visit the official website of Aligarh Muslim University to apply for the MSc course at ZHCET. Candidates can follow the below steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of ZHCET and click on the hamburger icon

Step 2: Click on the 'Admissions & Exams' option

Step 3: Click on 'Application Forms for Admission'

Step 4: Click on the 'New User' registration tab

Step 5: Create an alphanumeric username and password, and provide the candidate's name and email ID

Step 6: On the next page, click on the hamburger icon

Step 7: Step-wise clickable options will open up. Click on each step to complete the application process with personal information, educational qualifications, documents upload and so on.

Step 8: Conclude the application process by paying the registration fee by credit card/ debit card/net banking.

Step 2: Departmental Entrance Test

ZHCET MSc aspirants must appear for the Departmental Test, which is conducted by AMU and held at Aligarh (U.P.) only. To be eligible for the test candidates must have the valid MSc eligibiltiy criteria and candidates must not be more than 27 years old as of 01st July in the year of admission. The test paper shall be one paper comprising 80 questions with the following breakup :

• 70 Objective Type Questions (Multiple Choice): 70 marks.
• 10 Short Answer Type Questions: 30 marks

The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the website (www.amucontrollerexams.com). The candidate will appear in the Test at the given Centre on the date and timing as indicated in his/her Admit Card.

Step 3: Counselling

Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for AMU counselling. The counselling is conducted in various rounds and seats are allotted based on the candidate's Departmental test rank, preferences filled at the time of application, and seat availability. Candidates selected/short-listed for admission are required to go through the Counselling Procedure and register for Counselling and subsequent completion of admission (including payment of Admission Charges) on the portal Shortlisted candidates must report physically at the university campus for document verification.

Step 4: Document Verification & Fee Payment

The final step in the admission process is to visit the university campus for document verification. After the verification of original documents, candidates must confirm their admission by submitting the ZHCET MSc fees charged at admission.
